Hi Allan, It is very easy to do that. Just load the movie or whatever sound into Gold Wave, press the space bar to start it playing, then press the left bracket to mark the start and the right bracket to mark the end and then control t to trim everything before and after those marks. You can also manually edit those time numbers in the edit menu. Hope that might get you started. Hi all. I recently installed Swamp. When I did, I ran the batch file that would register all the components (Direct X, and all that in the readme). Hi Kieth. Well there are several options with items. mages can learn a spell (I think it's called bigby's floating disk), which can carry more items than your inventory limit. Dark, if you want to familiarize yourself with all Voiceover functionality, I highly suggest that you put everything on your voiceover rotor. That way you know exactly what the reader can and can't do. I had some trouble with the account login stuff as well, but it eventually got worked out. Try reading the entire page with a two-finger upward swipe and looking for stuff that hasn't been filled out. It's clumsy, but it works. As to king of dragon pass, glad to here that things are fixed, indeed very! glad. I looked at a guide to the game on applevis, but it listed some wonkey problems relating to things like the map and other stuff that I didn't feel my vo skills were equal to. If however further access changes have been made to the game and the applevis guide is out of date,I'd love to try the thing sinse it sounds right up my street! indeed, even though I'm still! waiting for my network to approve my sim card so that I can get my unlimited internet from them, I'm tempted to use my home wifi network instead to download and try the game now that I have all those apple id horrors behind me. Hi Zack. I found a section on the site for the apple id account we'll see if it works tomorrow. As to Itunes, well I don't partciularly have any over riding plans to use it at the second, i've got Winamp as a media player and I don't like the way you can't just transfer stuff onto the iphone keeping the folder structure without lots of shenanigans though i have heard itunes is usefull for backups of your settings and aps and such which could indeed be handy later on. But we'll see if the account thing from apple actually worked, though I'm a little disappointed with how one of apples own! pages didn't seem to work as expected with vo. Beware the grue! Hi dark, I'm sure you can get your Apple situation sorted out. As for talking to the developer, good luck, I haven't wanted to try that myself. On the plus side, I can heartily recommend King of Dragon Pass Pass. There have been several updates recently which fixed all the accessibility problems mentioned in its database entry, in fact I think it might be time to update it. Hi. It should be the first or second thing under the settings menu. I believe it automatically switches to Wifi when you're in range of a network you've already logged on to. Most quests have a map and text directions but I found some quests didn't so I'm not sure if there is anything more up to date which players now use, but I most did have text directions and the map. Hi, I noticed by your 2nd message you are say you are using 64 bit windows. Try this: 1. Run the win64.bat file. but first use the applications menu to run it as administrator. Even if you are logged in as this, you must still do this step. 2. If running the batch file does not work, then please read the read me text file in the swamp directory. This will instruct you on how to register the necessary files manually. Be sure to open the command prompt using the above described method of running the command prompt as administrator. 3. If you register the files manually, you might as well do all 3 of them at the same time. Will probably save you work in the long run. If you do not run the batch file, or command prompt, as administrator, the files cannot be registered properly. Keep in mind this is a one time thing. All Aprone's games will then run properly in the future. Good luck. [Audyssey] alter aeon, can I get some directions...?
Hi I'm on a quest in Alter Aoen, and I cna't figure out how to locate the alchemist's tower. When I headed to the junkyard, I heard it was either northwest or northeast of the junkyard, but when I got a quest that I need to go to the tower, I cannot locat eit. Kind of mind boggling, this game. I should have kept notes while I was wandering around. I found a menhir circle with druids, but cannot for the life of me find it again. Is there a blog or what not that has a place where I can ask this sort of thing without irritating too many people? It's like when I was sent to look for a shrew. I found the shrew, but the quest has not finished. Same thing with trying to find the shaman. I guess it's just wone of the adventure things in A A. Well first try chat in game, particularly on the newbie channel, that's a great place to look. As regards finding things, use the nearby and where am i commands, and take note of what the game says about where you have explored and where not. Also bare in mind what it says about the directio ns, they are straight! i can't remember if you can get to the alchemists' tower from the junkyard or whether you need to go around it to the south, though most roads are well marked if you look at the signs. As to finding quest objects, well the shrew is a pain. I believe someone has to do the evil theft version of that quest for it to work, but nobody seems to, or at least I couldn't complete it either for that reason despite beating up that shrew (who was surprisingly tough!). No idea why you couldn't find that shaman though if your talking about the one near the pelham encampment in the newbie area on slo, I remember him being fairly easy to find actually. there's a pretty good beginners guide to that quest on the aa website for future reference. hth. Looks like yours got hacked as well, but it was actually Oriol's account that sent the message. I translated the message from spanish using google translate. Not exactly certain what it was, but it had ogomez92 in one of the links, which is the name he goes by on twitter and some other places. So it may not have been spam but something that was unintentionally sent out, an invite of some kind maybe. Spambots can not just sign up and send messages as we, the Audyssey moderators, have to approve first time posts before they can be approved for unmoderated posting. As it is the message that was sent apparently hijacked a legit Audyssey member's address rather than hijacking the list. We are still investigating, but the source was a valid Audyssey member who has been a member for a long time without this sort of thing before.
