[Audyssey] BGT ADOM

Greetings List.

Anyone here have the expertise/experience required to make a game in the 
vain of ADOM? Entombed is all well and good, but it's just not the same 
feeling. You don't have multiple dungeons with their own properties and 
specialized rooms and room flags, a road / wilderness system to access the 
multitude of towns and dungeons, a deity system, turn-by-turn combat with 
mobiles that can actually move, attack, retreat, etc. I'd love to code such 
a game myself, but I do know my limits, and that's math. Such a game would 
require way too much math.

Hi Kai,

Well, I obviously have the skills, but not much time at the moment.
Still I'd like to help out with such a project if people are thinking
of creating one. I've been thinking of doing something like this
myself for a while now. What exactly do you have in mind?

Hello there,

I second this. I'd be interested in taking part in such a project as well. 
BGT can definitely do what you want, but you have to have a lot of skill to 
pull something like that off and you can expect that it will probably take 
at least a few years to do it properly.

I would be interested to.
the reason I didn't play stuff like nethack  or such was that it 
invarably involved loads of text graphic simbols.

To have that as a straight audiogame will mean a lot.

well I'd be interested in doing something.
I know little programming but I have a fair knowledge of rpgs at 
least where bits and such are concerned.

I can do voiceovers, bits and bobs.

Definitely. Plus if the game incorperates Sapi 5 support then it will
have a universal and accessible user interface.
