Don't feel bad. I'm in the same boat ride :) Pun intended. I got far enough to unlock some snack stands, but then I overdrafted too much, and the bank closed my park. I think if I had read through the read me a little more carefully, I would have figured out how to talk to my customers and fix things before they went quite so far awry. Hi Shaun, In the beginning of the game, that is when you start out with a new park, there is no options for snack stands or restaurants. After you make a certain amount of income the park board will give you an upgrade which will allow you to build new stuff like snack stands, restaurants, better rides, etc. You just have to earn enough of a profit before you are allowed to build that stuff. I open my park right away and start with the basics, customer services, cash points gift shops and toilets then quickly move onto a playground or two and some rides and at least one or two marketing campaigns. Hi Ian, I think a lot depends on A, how much you borrowed, and B, how much you intend to build before opening. The length of time it takes to build various attractions will obviously effect how soon you can open. However, as a rule of thumb you probably don't want to spend more than four weeks on building before opening your park for business. Cheers! Hi. Yes, when you open the game your park will be reopened. Unfortunately screen reader support isn't going to be very easy. I don't have the control over the speech that I need. For example I can't find out if it's currently speaking from the code. Thanks. Hi Josh, Thanks, but I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. For some reason I thought a person could only borrow 10,000 for startup costs so I would only be able to buy one or two attractions and wasn't getting many customers. Plus my ticket sales etc were too low so wasn't making any money at all off my parks. So once I discovered I could borrow more than 10,000 when starting out I could borrow and invest say 100,000 into a decent park with a little bit of everything and charge much more on ticket sales etc. That fixed the problem. yeah me too. but I did manage to unlock large rides such as a water park and large roller coaster. But the large roller coaster costs one million or so to build! I think my problem is I'm taking out too many loans and am not giving enough time for my guests to provide me with income from their spending so I can actually pay off the loans and be out on my own so to speak. maybe that's it? I can't even get anything more than a few toilets, a customer service center, and a couple of rides and the park goes broke. Obviously, I am doing something wrong, but am not sure what. Hi Bryan, Well, the game is definitely geared for people with a mindset towards business and have a firm grasp of managing money. Apparently I have neither as all of my amusement parks go broke within the first four months of business. I haven't been able to get one going long enough to make a profit let alone get out of debt. Hi. Not sure why your getting that. Best suggestion is to run the program directly. Go to c:program files/nasoft/ParkBoss and run the program pbmain.exe. If your on win7 or 8 then there are 2 program files folders. Hi nick, firstly, I'm very impressed with this game, although my brain isn't so good at figures, so I think I'm going to go bankrupt soon lol. I'm wondering though if you could perhaps impliment a key to repete the last thing the guy helping me says. I was checking my park's report, when i heard what sounded like a news flash, but hitting control didn't stop my sappi speach, so I missed out on what actually happened, until I got an email about someone had set my park on fire, but nothing was destroyed. At the moment, I have a few basic facilities built, like customer services, first aid and so on, and for rides, i have a helter skelter, and bouncey castle. The general visitor feedback is that ticket prices are reasonible, and food prices are very cheap, yet I still seem to have gone into over draft. I can't even pay off the loan I have already, so not sure how to get myself out of the red. Maybe someone can help? Over all though, some really nice sounds and good voice acting, so keep up the great work. Hey Nick This is really interesting game. I've already downloaded and played it and I have to say it's really fun but after 25 minutes of playing the bank closed my park but anyway it was fun. I'm gonna give it another chance. The first time was only checking out :D. Just one question, is the park entrance at 5:1 squares?
