The mouse touch pad on most laptops will work, but using a physical USB optical mouse will work much better with games like this. For example, we have just added mouse support to Mysteries of the Ancients beta 17. Although we do support mouse touch pads they really aren't that good for games in general. They don't have enough buttons, they are too sensative for good mouse control, and I personally couldn't get the game to respond the same way as I could with a basic USB optical mouse hooked up to my laptop. So in the documentation we specifically recommend a USB optical mouse with three or more buttons on it for gaming. Cheers! what about an updater for the daytona game like you have done with towersofwar. At 04:32 a.m. 7/01/2011, you wrote: I'm just glad I could help. Re: [Audyssey] Problem with Daytona
I might do an auto updater for Daytona too, but many people had problems using the one from Towers of War. I never did figure out what the trouble was with that one so I'll wait until I do before I make one for this game. I don't want to repeat the same mistake on a second updater program. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] Problem with Daytona
Sarah I believe I can help. Use Tab to scroll through the menus, not the arrow keys. I suppose I should add in the arrows as acceptable alternatives to using Tab, I'll do that in a little while so it will be in the next release. The reason the mouse seems to be backwards is because the sound you're hearing isn't moving. It represents a beacon. As you're moving the mouse to the right you are hearing it getting farther away on your left. Imagine the beacon as being a small spot on your mouse pad and it will make more sense with how the sound changes. I hope this has helped. :) --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org.
