[GOAL] Open Repositories Steering Committee - Call for Nominations

2020-06-24 Thread Elin Stangeland
The Open Repositories Steering Committee (ORSC) is pleased to announce that we
are opening nominations for standing members to join the OR Steering Committee.
ORSC manages the annual Open Repositories conference and consists of a maximum
of 12 standing members (who serve three-year terms) as well as the chairs of
the host and program committees for the annual conferences. We have three open
slots for standing members, and we are inviting nominations, including
self-nominations. The nomination deadline is July 24th 2020.
The nomination form is available here: https://forms.gle/F6hQhd6wM7kjf7QbA

Nominees should have participated in at least one previous OR conference,
ideally have been a member of a program or host committee for an OR conference,
and have extensive experience with repositories and the international
repository community. Some type of experience with the Open Repositories
conference is necessary to join the ORSC.

ORSC members are expected to take part in a range of activities throughout the
year, as well as those specifically related to the conference. Examples of
member activities include:
* Regular attendance at OR if at all possible. We note that for some
potential members this can be difficult due to cost, travel, and schedules; the
OR SC cannot provide funding for members to attend.
* Participating in the majority of the monthly committee meetings,
including the in-person meeting that takes place at the conference every year.
* Participation in ad hoc or standing committees (e.g. Scholarship, Code
of Conduct, Finance, etc.).
* Serving specific conference roles such as Program Chair or Poster Chair.
* Reflecting OR news and announcements (e.g. Calls for Papers,
Expressions of Interest) via mailing lists and through social media.
* Timely participation in all discussions, in-person and online.
* Reviewing conference proposals and submissions.
*   Reviewing conference host bids.
* Selecting new standing members for the ORSC.

We strongly recommend that potential nominees refer to the conference handbook
for more information about the role of the ORSC:
https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/or11/Open+Repositories+Conference+Handbook.
When submitting a nomination (and self-nominations are welcome) you will be
asked to submit the following information:
1. Personal information: name, email, institution affiliation, and a brief
description of the nominee's role.
2. An indication that your nominee has attended at least one OR in the
previous four years.
3. Statement of interest, e.g. why the nominee wants to join the Steering
Committee.
4. Statement of qualifications, e.g. what specific experiences the nominee
would bring to the Steering Committee.

The OR Steering Committee will elect new members in August. Successful new
members will be expected to join the ORSC in September for a three-year period.
See https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/or11/Membership+Policy for our membership
policy. Current members are listed here:
https://www.openrepositories.org/steering-committee/.
If you have questions about the OR Steering Committee, please feel free to
contact any of the current standing members listed here:
https://www.openrepositories.org/steering-committee/ or to reach out to the
Chair, Sarah Shreeves, at sshree...@arizona.edu
or Claire Knowles, Vice-Chair at

2019-04-24 Thread Elin Stangeland

View this text online: https://www.openrepositories.org/2019/02/25/eoi-2021/

The Open Repositories Steering Committee seeks Expressions of Interest (EoI)
from candidate host organizations for the 2021 Open Repositories Annual
Conference series. Proposals from the Americas will be given first
consideration.

Important dates

The Open Repositories Steering Committee is accepting Expressions of Interest
(EoI) to host the OR2021 conference until May 17th, 2019 (extended).
Shortlisted sites will be notified by the end of May 2019 and invited to submit
a full proposal.

Background

Candidate institutions must have the ability to host at least a four-day
conference with up to 450 attendees (see the list of past
conferences<https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/or11/Open+Repositories+Conference+Handbook#OpenRepositoriesConferenceHandbook-OpenRepositories:Past,Present,andFuture>
which includes the number of attendees where available). This includes
appropriate access to conference facilities, lodging, and transportation, as
well as the ability to manage a range of supporting services (food services,
internet services, and conference social events; conference website; management
of registration and online payments; etc.). The candidate institutions and
their local arrangements committee must have the means to support the costs of
producing the conference through attendee registration and independent
fundraising. In addition, candidate institutions should consider the OR
Statement on Inclusion and
Openness<https://www.openrepositories.org/2018/02/27/open-repositories-statement-on-inclusion-and-openness/>
as well as our Code of
Conduct<https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/or11/Open+Repositories+Code+of+Conduct>
to determine whether there are conditions in the local environment that might
conflict with these positions or prevent travel for large portions of the
attendees.

Fuller guidance is provided in the Open Repositories Conference
Handbook<https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/or11/Open+Repositories+Conference+Handbook>
 on the Open Repositories
wiki<https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/or11/OR+Steering+Committee+Home>.

Expressions of Interest Guidelines

Organisations interested in proposing to host the OR2021 conference should
follow the steps listed below:

  1. Expressions of Interest (EoIs) must be received by May 17th, 2019
(extended). Please direct these EoIs and any enquiries to OR Steering Committee
Chair Elin Stangeland - elin.stangeland at ub.uio.no.
  2. As noted above, the Open Repositories wiki has a set of pages at Open
Repositories Conference
Handbook<https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/or11/Open+Repositories+Conference+Handbook>
which offers guidelines for organising an Open Repositories conference.
Candidate institutions should pay particular attention to the pages listed at
"Preparing a bid" before submitting an EoI.
  3. The EoI should be fairly brief (1-2 pages, or email length), and must
include:
 * the name of the institution (or institutions in the case of a joint
bid)
 * an email address for the first point of contact
 * the proposed location for the conference venue with a brief paragraph
describing the local amenities that would be available to delegates, including
its proximity to a reasonably well-served airport
  4. The OR Steering Committee will review proposals and may seek advice from
additional reviewers. Following the review, one or more institutions will be
invited to submit a detailed proposal.
  5. Invitations to submit a detailed proposal will be issued by the end of
May 2019; institutions whose interest will not be taken up will also be
notified at that time. The invitations sent out will provide a timeline for
submitting a formal proposal and details of additional information available to
the shortlisted sites for help in the preparation of their bid. The OR Steering
Committee will be happy to answer specific queries whilst proposals are being
prepared.

[GOAL] Call for Proposals - Open Repositories 2019: All the user needs

2018-11-08 Thread Elin Stangeland
CALL FOR PROPOSALS OPEN REPOSITORIES 2019 CONFERENCE (also available online at
http://or2019.net/cfp)

The 14th International Conference on Open Repositories, OR2019, will be held
June 10-13th, 2019 in Hamburg, Germany. The organisers are pleased to invite
you to contribute to the program. This year's conference theme is:

ALL THE USER NEEDS

Repository services are developed and maintained for the benefit of their
users. In a global digital research environment this requires interoperable
services designed around user needs. In order to create the backbone of a
successful open science environment, repositories need to move beyond
stand-alone systems and articulate an exciting vision for the future of
research globally. This requires us to combine a realistic understanding of the
potential of technology with an assessment of the policy environment and an
engagement with the needs of our users. Researchers and other content providers
need our help to make their work visible and to make an impact on society.
Easy, straightforward access to and reusability of information are driving
forces for repositories, open access, open data and open cultural heritage.

Not all of our users are human. In addition to people we are now working with
increasingly smart machines to organise and discover knowledge. To make this
cooperation as seamless and effective as possible, we need interfaces that are
easy to understand and easy to use. In light of recent research on artificial
intelligence, we may need to reinterpret our prior ideas of the core
competencies and skills required for the repository mission to succeed.

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE

OR2019 will provide an opportunity to explore and reflect on the ways
repositories interact with their users. We hope that this discussion will give
the participants new insights and new inspiration, which will help them to play
a key role in developing, supporting and sharing an open agenda and open tools
for research and scholarship.

We welcome proposals on the overall user-centered theme, but also on other
theoretical, practical, organisational or administrative topics related to
digital repositories. We are particularly interested in the following themes:

1. Understanding user needs and user experience

* User research and engagement
* User experience design for repository services
* Better user experience through data and workflow integration
* Improving repository user interfaces

2. Discovery, use and impact

* Increasing content visibility in search engines and discovery systems
* Open access discovery, research data discovery
* Tools for researchers, interfaces for machines
* The role of aggregation services
* Measuring use and impact

3. Repositories - evolution or revolution?

* Beyond the repository: using repository platforms for purposes not originally
intended
* Convergence with other types of systems (e.g. current research information
systems, digital asset management systems, journal publishing platforms,
library service platforms)
* Interoperability vs integration: will repositories survive as stand-alone
systems?
* The developing role of repositories in the scholarly communications and
research information systems ecosystem (e.g. the Next Generation
Repositories vision)
* New models for scholarly sharing (e.g. blockchain)
* Data mining, artificial intelligence and machine learning

4. Supporting open scholarship and cultural heritage

* Providing access to different types of materials (e.g. research data,
scholarly articles, pre prints and overlay journals, open access monographs,
theses and dissertations, educational resources, archival and cultural heritage
materials, audiovisual materials, software, interactive publications and
emerging formats)
* Workflows and support services for the repository users
* Training, communication and outreach
* Long-term access and preservation
* Repositories as digital humanities and open science platforms
* Working with large and complex data sets

5. Open and sustainable

* Service and business models that meet user needs
* Local systems vs repository as a service
* The expanding role of service providers in the repository landscape, pros and
cons?
* Sustainability of the open source community model
* Securing long-term funding for open infrastructures
* Open business models and open governance for open infrastructures

6. Policies, licensing and the law

* Impact of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and copyright laws
* Publisher policies, embargoes and rights retention
* Licenses, use and re-use of content
* 'Closed' material in 'open' repositories
* Compliance and impact of funder policies (e.g. Plan
S) on repositories

7. How can metadata and standards help our users?

* Development and standardisation of repository metadata
* Data models and entities
* Linked open data and repositories
* Persistent

Call for Expressions of Interest in hosting the annual Open Repositories
Conference 2020 - Final reminder

The Open Repositories Steering Committee seeks Expressions of Interest (EoI)
from candidate host organizations for the 2020 Open Repositories Annual
Conference series. Proposals from all geographic areas will be given
consideration.

Link to online version: http://www.openrepositories.org/2017/11/30/calleoi/

Important dates

The Open Repositories Steering Committee is accepting Expressions of Interest
(EoI) to host the OR2020 conferences until February 28th, 2018. Shortlisted
sites will be notified by the end of March 2018 and invited to submit a full
proposal.

Background

Candidate institutions must have the ability to host at least a four-day
conference with up to 500 attendees (OR2016 held in Dublin, Ireland drew about

includes appropriate access to conference facilities, lodging, and
transportation, as well as the ability to manage a range of supporting services
(food services, internet services, and conference social events; conference web
site; management of registration and online payments; etc.). The candidate
institutions and their local arrangements committee must have the means to
support the costs of producing the conference through attendee registration and
independent fundraising. Fuller guidance is provided in the Open Repositories
Conference
Handbook<https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/or11/Open+Repositories+Conference+Handbook>

Repositories Conference Handbook which offer guidelines for organising an Open
Repositories conference. Candidate institutions should pay particular
attention to the pages listed at "Preparing a bid" before submitting an EoI.

3.The EoI should be fairly brief (1-2 pages, or email length), and must
include:

a. the name of the institution (or institutions in the case of a joint bid)

b.an email address as a first point of contact

c. the proposed location for the conference venue with a brief paragraph
describing the local amenities that would be available to delegates, including
its proximity to a reasonably well-served airport

1.The OR Steering Committee will review proposals and may seek advice from
additional reviewers. Following the review, one or more institutions will be
invited to submit a detailed proposal.

2.Invitations to submit a detailed proposal will be issued by the end of
March 2018; institutions whose interest will not be taken up will also be
notified at that time. The invitations sent out will provide a timeline for
submitting a formal proposal and details of additional information available to
the shortlisted sites for help in the preparation of their bid. The OR

[GOAL] Open Repositories 2018: Sustaining Open, final call for papers and scholarships closing dates

2018-01-12 Thread Elin Stangeland

The 13th International Conference on Open Repositories, OR2018, will be held on
June 4th-7th, 2018 in Bozeman, Montana, USA.

Call for papers http://www.or2018.net/call-for-papers/ closes on Monday 15th
January 2018.
Scholarship applications has been extended http://www.or2018.net/scholarships/
closes on Wednesday 31st January 2018.
The theme for Open Repositories 2018 is Sustaining Open.

Research and Cultural Heritage communities have embraced the idea of Open; open
communities, open source software, open data, scholarly communications, and
open access publications and collections. These projects and communities
require different modes of thinking and resourcing than purchasing vended
products. While open may be the way forward, mitigating fatigue, finding
sustainable funding, and building flexible digital repository platforms is
something most of us are striving for. Submissions this year should focus on
the how, why, and what it will take to make open sustainable.

While not limited to the below topics, we're focusing our attention on issues
around the sustainability of:
· Open source software - sustainability of software developed locally and
large open source systems, legacy code
· Community - reaching out to new audiences, developing a community, governance
· Content - research data, digital preservation, persistent urls, archiving
· Teams/People - staff and knowledge within the community, contingency
planning, training and development, and succession planning
· Projects - sustainability of projects beyond the grant, maturing communities
· Infrastructure/Integrations - integrations between systems, changing
technical environments
· Policy - national, international, local and community policy and decisions
· Challenges of sustainability - funding, local, technical, community
· Rights and Copyright - including Data Protection, sharing and storing of
content
· Reuse, standards, and reproducibility - for example: software, data, content
types
· New open technologies and standards

Submission Process
Accepted proposals in all categories will be made available through the
conference's web site https://www.conftool.net/or2018, and later they and
associated materials will be made available in an open repository. Some
conference sessions may be live streamed or recorded, then made publicly
available.

Interest Groups
This year there are no separate interest groups for the different repository
systems, instead if your 24x7 or presentation submission is related to a
specific repository system please indicate so in your proposal.

Presentations
Presentation proposals are expected to be two to four pages (see below for
submission templates). Successful submissions in past years have typically
described work relevant to a wide audience and applicable beyond a single
software system.

Presentations are 30 minutes long including questions.

Panels
Panel proposals are expected to be two to four pages (see below for submission
templates). Successful submissions in past years have typically described work
relevant to a wide audience and applicable beyond a single software system. All
panels are expected to include at least some degree of diversity in viewpoints
and personal background of the panelists. Panel sessions are expected to
include a short presentation from each panel member followed by a discussion.
Panels may take an entire session or may be combined with another submission.

Panels can be 45 or 90 minutes long.

Discussion Question and Answer
Discussion Q proposals are expected to be two to four pages (see below for
submission templates). This is your opportunity to suggest members of the
community to join in a Q discussion on various proposed topics. This is
meant to be a deep-dive into why a decision was made, how projects got started,
where an idea came from, or anything else that you want to know more about.
Imagine this as a 45 - 90 minute grilling at a cocktail party but on a stage in
front of your peers. Q may take an entire session or may be combined with
another submission. This session will not be video recorded.

Discussion Q can be 45 or 90 minutes long.

24×7 Presentations
24×7 presentations are 7 minute presentations comprising no more than 24
slides. Successful 24x7 presentations have a clear focus on one or a few ideas
and a narrower focus than a 25 minute presentation. Similar to Pecha
Kuchas or Lightning Talks, these 24×7
presentations will be grouped into blocks based on conference themes, with each
block followed by a moderated question and answer session involving the
audience and all block presenters. This format will provide conference goers
with a fast-paced survey of like work across many institutions. Proposals for
24×7 presentations should be one to two pages (see below for submission
templates).

24x7 presentations are 7 minutes long.

Posters

We invite one-page proposals for posters that showcase current work (see below
for submission templates). OR2018 will feature physical posters only. Posters
will be on

[GOAL] Call for Proposals for Open Repositories 2017 – now open for online submissions

 the conference. Instructions for
preparing the digital posters will be distributed to authors of accepted poster
proposals prior to the conference.

DEVELOPER TRACK: TOP TIPS, CUNNING CODE AND IMAGINATIVE INNOVATION

Each year a significant proportion of the delegates at Open Repositories are
software developers who work on repository software or related services. OR2017
will feature a Developer Track that will provide a focus for showcasing work
and exchanging ideas.

Building on the success of the Developer Track at OR2015 and OR2016, where we
encouraged live hacking and audience participation, we invite members of the
technical community to share the features, systems, tools and best practices
that are important to you. Presentations can be as informal as you like, but
once again we encourage live demonstrations, tours of code repositories,
examples of cool features and the unique viewpoints that so many members of our
community possess. Submissions should take the form of a title and a brief
outline of what will be shared with the community.

Developers are also encouraged to contribute to the other tracks.

IDEAS CHALLENGE

OR2017 will also again include the popular Ideas Challenge. Taking part in this
competition provides an opportunity to take an active role in repository
innovation, in collaboration with your peers and in pursuit of prizes. The
Ideas Challenge is open to all conference attendees - developers,
non-developers, and everyone in between. Further details and guidance on the
Ideas Challenge will be forthcoming.

WORKSHOPS AND TUTORIALS

One to two-page proposals for workshops and tutorials addressing theoretical or
practical issues around digital repositories are welcomed (see online for
Proposal Templates). Please address the following in your proposal:

· The subject of the event and what knowledge you intend to convey

· Length of session (e.g.,2 hours, half a day or a whole day)

· A brief statement on the learning outcomes from the session

· The target audience for your session and how many attendees you plan
to accommodate

· Technology and facility requirements

· Any other supplies or support required

· Anything else you believe is pertinent to carrying out the session

[GOAL] Reminder: Call for Expressions of Interest in hosting the annual Open Repositories Conference: 2018 and 2019

2016-09-13 Thread Elin Stangeland
The Open Repositories Steering Committee seeks Expressions of Interest (EoI)
from candidate host organizations for the 2018 and 2019 Open Repositories
Annual Conference series. The call is issued for two years this time to enable
better planning ahead of the conferences and to secure a good geographical
distribution over time. Proposals from all geographic areas will be given
consideration.

Important dates

The Open Repositories Steering Committee is accepting Expressions of Interest
(EoI) to host the OR2018 and 2019 conferences until September 23rd, 2016.
Shortlisted sites will be notified by the end of October 2016.

Background

Candidate institutions must have the ability to host at least a four-day
conference of approximately 300-500 attendees (OR2016 held in Dublin, Ireland
drew more than 450 people). This includes appropriate access to conference
facilities, lodging, and transportation, as well as the ability to manage a
range of supporting services (food services, internet services, and conference
social events; conference web site; management of registration and online
payments; etc.). The candidate institutions and their local arrangements
committee must have the means to support the costs of producing the conference
through attendee registration and independent fundraising. Fuller guidance is
provided in the Open Repositories Conference Handbook:
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/or11/Open+Repositories+Conference+Handbook
on the Open Repositories wiki:
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/or11/OR+Steering+Committee+Home.

Expressions of Interest Guidelines

Organisations interested in proposing to host either the OR2018 or OR2019
conference should follow the steps listed below:

1.Expressions of Interest (EoIs) must be received by September 23rd, 2016.
Please direct these EoIs and any enquiries to OR Steering Committee Chair
William Nixon <william.ni...@glasgow.ac.uk>.
2. As noted above, the Open Repositories wiki has a set of pages at Open
Repositories Conference Handbook which offer guidelines for organising an Open
Repositories conference. Candidate institutions should pay particular
attention to the pages listed at "Preparing a bid" before submitting an EoI.
3. The EoI should be fairly brief (1-2 pages, or email length), and must
include:
a. the name of the institution (or institutions in the case of a joint
bid)
b. an email address as a first point of contact
c. the proposed location for the conference venue with a brief
paragraph describing the local amenities that would be available to delegates,
including its proximity to a reasonably well-served airport
d. Preferred year, if applicable
4. The OR Steering Committee will review proposals and may seek advice from
additional reviewers. Following the review, one or more institutions will be
invited to submit a detailed proposal.
5. Invitations to submit a detailed proposal will be issued by the end of
October 2016; institutions whose interest will not be taken up will also be
notified at that time. The invitations sent out will provide a timeline for
submitting a formal proposal and details of additional information available to
the shortlisted sites for help in the preparation of their bid. The OR
Steering Committee will be happy to answer specific queries whilst proposals
are being prepared.

[GOAL] OR2016 keynotes and accepted contributions announced; Early bird deadline is April 13th

2016-04-07 Thread Elin Stangeland
Open Repositories 2016 - to be held in Dublin, Ireland June 13th-16th - is
pleased to announce our opening and closing keynote speakers - Laura
Czerniewicz and Rufus Pollock. Read below for more information about both.

Please note that early bird registration for Open Repositories 2016 will close
on April 13th. Register at http://or2016.net/ to take
advantage of the early bird registration, make your hotel reservation, and book
sightseeing tours.

The accepted contributions are also now listed on the OR2016 Website here:
http://or2016.net/accepted-contributions
. We are currently working on the
detailed program schedule, but you can find the general outline here:
http://or2016.net/conference-at-a-glance/
 .

Laura Czerniewicz will kick off Open Repositories 2016 with her opening keynote
titled "Which knowledge online? Reflections on networked scholarly
communication practices in a global age" on the morning of Tuesday, June 14th.
The current digitally-mediated networked age promises global digital cultures
with flattened power relations, given the affordances of information and
communication technologies to collapse distance, enable easier cross-country
collaborations and create new opportunities for knowledge production and
sharing. Drawing on case studies of local knowledge production, communication,
visibility and discoverability, this talk will raise issues regarding how the
reconfiguration of relationships and power is occurring in practice.

Associate Professor Czerniewicz is the director of the Centre for Innovation in
Learning and Teaching at the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa. Prior
to that position, she ran the OpenUCT Initiative spearheading the university's
open scholarship agenda including the development of the Open Access policy and

[GOAL] DEADLINE fast approaching: OR2016 Proposals due Feb 1

2016-01-21 Thread Elin Stangeland

Call for Proposals for Open Repositories 2016: Illuminating the World

The Eleventh International Conference on Open Repositories, OR2016, will be
held on June 13th-16th, 2016in Dublin, Ireland. The organizers are pleased to
issue this call for contributions to the program.

As previous Open Repositories have demonstrated, the use of digital
repositories to manage research, scholarly and cultural information is well
established and increasingly mature. Entering our second decade, we have an
opportunity to reflect on where we've been and, more importantly, where we're
heading. New development continues apace, and we've reached the time when many
organizations are exploring expansive connections with larger processes both
inside and outside traditional boundaries. Open Repositories 2016 will explore
how our rich collections and infrastructure are now an inherent part of
contemporary scholarship and research and how they have expanded to touch many
aspects of our academic and cultural enterprises.

The theme of OR2016 is "Illuminating the World." OR2016 will provide an
opportunity to explore the ways in which repositories and related
infrastructure and processes:

* bring different disciplines, collections, and people to light;
* expose research, scholarship, and collections from developing
countries;
* increase openness of collections, software, data and workflows;
* highlight data patterns and user pathways through collections; and
* how we can organize to better support these - and other -
infrastructures.

We welcome proposals on these ideas, but also on the theoretical, practical,
technical, organizational or administrative topics related to digital
repositories. Submissions that demonstrate original and repository-related
work outside of these themes will be considered, but preference will be given
to submissions which address them. We are particularly interested in the
following themes.

1. Supporting Open Scholarship, Open Data, and Open Science

Papers are invited to consider how repositories can best support the needs of
open science and open scholarship to make research as accessible and useful as
possible, including:

* Open access, open data and open educational resources
* Scholarly workflows, publishing and communicating scientific
knowledge
* Exposure of research and scholarship from developing countries
and under-resourced communities and disciplines
* Compliance with funder mandates

2. Repositories and Cultural Heritage

Papers are invited to consider how repositories and their associated
infrastructures best support the needs of cultural heritage collections,
organizations, and researchers. Areas of interest include:

* Impact of aggregation on repository infrastructure and management
* Exposure of collections and cultural heritage from developing
countries and under-resourced communities and disciplines
* Special considerations in access and use of cultural heritage
collections
* Reuse and analysis of content.

3. Repositories of high volume and/or complex data and collections

Papers are invited to consider how we can use tools and processes to highlight
data patterns and user pathways through large corporas including:

* Data and text mining
* Entity recognition
* Linked data
* Standardized interfaces
* Interaction with large-scale computation and simulation processes
* Issues of scale and size beyond traditional repository contexts

4. Managing Research Data, Software, and Workflows

Papers are invited to consider how repositories can support the needs of
research data and related software and workflows. Areas of interest are:

* Curation lifecycle management, including storage, software and
workflows
* Digital preservation tools and services
* Reuse and analysis of scientific content
* Scholarly workflows, publishing and communicating scientific
knowledge

5. Integrating with the Wider Web and External Systems

Papers are invited to explore, evaluate, or demonstrate integration with
external systems, including:

* CRIS and research management systems
* Notification and compliance tracking systems
* Identifier services
* Preservation services and repositories
* Publisher systems
* Collection management systems and workflows

6. Exploring Metrics, Assessment, and Impact

Papers are invited to present experiences on metrics and assessment services
for a range of content, including:

* Bibliometrics
* Downloads (e.g. COUNTER compliance)
* Altmetrics
