svnsync checksum mistmatch
I'm getting the following error from svnsync on the repository at http://openintents.googlecode.com/svn/ Committed revision 1629. Copied properties for revision 1629. Transmitting file data .svnsync: Base checksum mismatch on '/trunk/AboutApp/AndroidManifest.xml': expected: 266ccc986affe0e17889bf1406d8c12f actual: c907cce5b30812bd4cf0e24595e6be08 Is there a fix? Acces not allowed - google gadgets not displayed
Hi! I used to host google gadget on google code, but I now haven't access for about 10 hour to my account (same message as I can see here on other discussions : acces not allowed, etc...). I haven't received any message explaining access restrictions. I only use this account to host google gadgets and their elements - so there's nothing, I believe that is against the user's conditions. Simultanely, many of the google gadgets host(ed?), have started displaying messages indicating that they couldn't have access to the files stored on my account, so... the google gadgets basically are down :/ you can see these gadgets here : http://www.google.com/ig/directory?q=joooklabsstart=0 May a moderator have forbid access cause he believed that was wrong hosting practice? It would be nice if someone could fix the problem or explain what is happening. I've already tried to contact Thanks for help (ps I'm a french guy so please, don't focalize on my bad english writing ;) ) Stéphane -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Project Hosting on Google Code group. can we please get issue 5821 fixed?
The ArduPilot project just lost a bunch of commits in our git repository because of this bug. A user who was not experienced with git did a forced push of an old checkout on top of our master repository, then other people who got the resulting pull errors tried to fix it by doing pushes of their own. I've sorted it out by restoring from one of my own clones and bringing in all the missing commits I could find, but this really is just a disaster waiting to happen with all git based projects on code.google.com. It is normal when running a shared git repository to prevent this like this: [receive] denyNonFastforwards = true denyDeletes = true It not only prevents mistakes like what happened to us today, it is also an important security measure. It is only a matter of time before some malicious user rewrites the history of a project in a subtle way to introduce a security hole. That is much harder to get away with if you can only do fast forward pushes. So _please_ can we get an administrative option to set the above options on our repositories? Access not allowed page all of sudden.
Sir, All of sudden I am seeing Access Not Allowed page whenever I tries to visit GoogleCode. I haven't broke any terms and conditions. Few days ago I was editing one of js code and then mistakenly closed the browser directly without saving the code. Since from then I am unable to access the page again. I think I am mistakenly banned. It will be kind if you look into the matter. Re: Access not allowed page all of sudden.
Hello, Your project was suspended because it looked like you were hosting JS files for the purposes of serving them. For example, the JQuery libraries hosted in your project are not your work. While we want to help you develop and show off your opensource work, Google Code is not meant to be a CDN. Please consider finding another host for your files and using the service only for source control and project maintenance. For example, you can use the Google Libraries API to load JQuery: https://developers.google.com/speed/libraries/devguide#jquery I've unsuspended your project and will re-review the status of your project in a few weeks. Sorry for the miscommunication. - Jason On Thu, May 3, 2012 at 8:29 AM, B.Alam md.bipula...@gmail.com wrote: Sir, All of sudden I am seeing Access Not Allowed page whenever I tries to visit GoogleCode. Star the issue so we get an idea of its relative importance. I'd (personally) like to have this option, but it's not a trivial amount of engineering work as we don't run cgit on normal storage (it's mostly custom storage). I don't think we're aware of any problem. Is this repeatable? With a fresh svnsync copying all revisions?
