Friends, Randy here. I'm using jaws 11 at the moment.
I would like to ask what is a good accessible free language
translation webiste that will say let me translate words and or
phrases from English to Swedish?

Google translate seems to have taken an accessibility dump.
any help is appreciated. from Swedes And all.

Dear Sir Richard,

Your post reminded me that I had not updated Spyware Blaster in some time.

I downlnoaded version 4.5 from Major Geeks and just installed it
here. The basic version with manual updating is still free for
personal and educationaluse and according to the program always wil be.

You'll need to use your jaws cursor a bit during installation but
otherwise the program is fine. If you still have Miss Debbie's old
scripts for the program, they still help if you recompile them.

[JAWS-Users] WLM and GMail settings

2011-12-03 Thread leonard morris
My WLM settings got screwed up somehow and now I am having issues retrieving
email from Gmail. Among the issues are the following error message:

Windows Live Mail

The server you are connected to is using a security graphic 603 certificate
that could not be verified.

The certificate's CN name does not match the passed

value.

Do you want to continue using this server?

Yes No

If someone has the correct settings within WLM for retrieving email could
you forward them to me?

Lastly, I tried creating a new account and now I have an account called
gmail and GMail2 and I would like either to delete both and start over or
maybe just modify one and delete the other one. Thanks much.

BTW, to the list owners I might have sent messages to the wrong Jaws list
earlier. Sorry bout that. This has not been a productive day for me. (smile)

s brings up the system menu, just as if you pressed alt plus

default name, sheet 1, the insert plus shift plus s works as
expected. As an example, I have a workbook I created with
three sheets. the sheets are named binomial, geometric, and
poisson. If I hit the insert plus shift plus s it just
brings up the system menu.
However, if I add a sheet to it and then use the command, it
works just fine. I am using JAWS13 and Excel 2010.

Now that is a new one on me! We Europeans usually speak more than one
language but Chinese is not among those! I know that jaws comes
up in the system language on the box it is installed onbut it must
have confused your Taxan accents for Chinese. *giggle*

Being a nonnative speaker of English, A Southern - and a Texan
accent in particular - took some getting used to when we first
encountered it many years ago but it didn't sound quite like Chinese.
But then a friend from Texas during an English teaching campaign put
on by my husband's church mistook a French exchange student who had
enrolled in the English classes for a Chinese at first ... *g*

glad you got your problem fixed and thanks for sharing the story.
I'll keep this. *g*

Hello,
For some reason insert plus shift plus s brings up the
system menu in Excel
2010 using JAWS13. It will not bring up that menu you
mentioned.
I have noticed that a lot of Office commands don't work like
they use to
with JAWS13. Ihad to route jaws to pc, do a control end,
find the name of
the sheet, and do a right click on it to get the menu you
described.
Thats the way Don mentioned how to do it in his post.
Thanks,
