[JAWS-Users] Help with internal wireless switch

2014-07-31 Thread TheHangMan
Hi,

For some reason, I believe my internal wireless switch got turn off somehow?

My external is on and it keeps saying it cannot connect to the network.

I tried, but I'm stuck now.

I remember accessing the internal wireless switch by pressing the FN key
then F2 + f12 or something in that nature a long while back, but I think
jaws is not reading in this menu.

Please send me some comments.

Thanks,

Jorge

Re: [JAWS-Users] Adobe Reader

2014-07-31 Thread Mike B.
Hi Ledon,

I think I used a poor choice of words. What I was meaning is, to open your
Adobe Reader from your desktop or start menu shortcut this puts you in,
what I referred to as the, main Adobe page. I guess it would actually be
Adobe Reader's opening page / window, I think. Someone help me out with the
correct terminology, please

Take care.

Hi Mike,\

Trish received the latest Adobe setup executable from me. I've never had
problems running the .EXE files before when installing or updating but, I'm
not going to say that the file could not have gotten corrupted somewhere
along the line. I guess Trish's best option would be to get a fresh update
from Adobe or Ninite. Also Trish, if you can get Adobe to open from your
desktop or start menu shortcuts try the following:
1. While in the main Adobe window press the, Alt key, to open the menues.
2. Left or right arrow to, Help.
3. Arrow up to, check for updates, press enter to have Adobe check for
updates to your currently installed version. Also, in this Help menu is an
option to repair if you want to try repairing the installed version first.
HTH
Take care.

Trish,

The problem that you are experiencing could be many things. Although many
programs need the Java Runtime Environment to run properly, seeing a run
time error doesn't always mean that Java will fix it. How did you install
the Adobe Reader? Where did you download it from and did you Run it or
Save it and then install it. The best way in my experience is to just
click on Run, and let the program be installed onto my machine. I have
experienced trouble several times after installing it after first saving it
to my hard drive. You will probably get Google Chrome and the Google Tool
Bar installed along with it, but these are easily removed through Programs
and Features. Tell me more about how you acquired the program, and maybe I
can come up with a solution.

  Trish,

Did you uninstall the 10.9 version? If so, do you have the Java Runtime
Environment installed on your computer? Some of these programs require it
to
run normally. It can be found at www.oracle.com/java. Pick the Java JRE to

  Program: C...
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an

Please contact the application's support team for more

Which one of these should I choose?

A pane is an area of your screen. Think of the windows in your home. They
can have one pane of glass, or they may have multiple panes of glass. The
list of messages is a pane. If it's the only pane visible, it will cover
the entire window. If other panes are visible, the list of messages pane
will be smaller on the screen. But there are two other panes that you can
choose to show on the screen or not. If you choose to show them, they will
take up space on the screen which will reduce the number of messages that

folders that you have in outlook. The reading pane show the first few lines
of the message that you're on in the message list, which you can read
without having to open the message. If either of these panes is visible,
you can move between the message list and the panes by pressing f6. You can
choose to show or hide these panes by opening the view menu. To open the
view menu while you're in an outlook folder press alt+v. If you're using
JAWS virtual ribbons, arrow down to Layout and right arrow to the sub-menu.
The first two items are Navigation pane followed by Reading pane. If you
don't use the JAWS virtual ribbons, tab until you hear Navigation pane or
Reading pane. Press space on either of these and a list will show giving
you choices such as normal to show the pane and off to hide the pane, among
others. Position on the choice you want and press enter. It is sometimes
necessary to go to the navigation pane to perform certain functions such as
deleting or renaming an Outlook folder. I believe the consensus among JAWS
users is that the reading pane should be turned off.

Hi

A pane is an area of your screen. Think of the windows in your home. They
can have one pane of glass, or they may have multiple panes of glass. The
list of messages is a pane. If it's the only pane visible, it will cover
the entire window. If other panes are visible, the list of messages pane
will be smaller on the screen. But there are two other panes that you can
choose to show on the screen or not. If you choose to show them, they will
take up space on the screen which will reduce the number of messages that
are actually visible. It does not affect arrowing up or down through the
messages. The two panes that you can choose to show or hide in Outlook 2010
are the navigation pane and the reading pane. The navigation pane shows the
folders that you have in outlook. The reading pane show the first few lines
of the message that you're on in the message list, which you can read
without having to open the message. If either of these panes is visible,
you can move between the message list and the panes by pressing f6. You can

line then asked you your name then asked you what kind of computer problem
you are having. Then they asked you if they can take over your pc and you
have to click a few things as they walk you through it. Then they are logged
