Re: [JAWS-Users] 360 Total Security and how to get rid of it?
Hi Lisa, As a last resort, when attempting to uninstall software whose installation process is inaccessible, I call the Microsoft Disability Tech Support line at 800-936-5900...Just something to consider. Hi, Please, please, tell me there's a way that my husband and i can get rid of this on our own as totally blind people? We have the latest version of JAWS and are using Windows 10. When my husband got an i Cloud update this program got on our computer and it now is preventing us from updating to the latest TWBlue or using it at all. It's also slowing the computer down somewhat too. We have and use Viper and are amazed it allowed this on here. The program is not accessible with either JAWS or NVDA and we've tried to remove it the normal way to remove a program with no success. If anyone can help or knows anything about this, please email me either privately or on list? Re: [JAWS-Users] Citibank website navigation
Jim and Tom, thanks for your responses. It gives my friend a workaround. Still, I'm saddened that one of his first JAWS experiences is with a website that defies accessibility and requires special treatment. It isn't the message Citibank or any other reputable organization should be sending those starting out on the path to independence. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Jim Pursley Sent: Tuesday, August 02, 2016 5:29 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Citibank website navigation I had a heck of a time when the new page format was installed but somehow I managed to find the accessible version. somehow I got the accessible link to work. The accessible version is the print version and works great, but does not have all site features like the alerts. I recommend calling the web site tech group - customer service can connect you - andwork through the steps to get the accessible version. Bill pay is a snap, one reason why i don't change banks. Chase has a nice feature which allows money to be eft'd to another person by supplying an e-mail - and it's accessible. Bank of America's site is accessible, too. On 8/2/2016 5:53 PM, T.
