If you open the File Menu from the Menu Bar, (Alt+f) and arrow up to
options, which would be Alt+F+T, You will be put in the Options for Outlook.
The default item you land on is Genral, arrow down once to Mail and tab
through to the end and if you check the box to have automatic name checking,
when you reply to any messages, it will save in your address book.
Composing a new email, you can type in the beginning of an address and it
will populate.

Hi list,

My name is Joseph Lamperis. I had a question regarding the Chicago Bulls
game broadcast.
Do you know of any websites that would broadcast the Chicago bulls game with
Jaws?
The bulls games are banned due to the NBa regulations. What would be the
most free without having to get an account?
I heard a user talking about Panda Antivirus.
I know someone who uses that without Jaws.

Howdy Y'all,

Well, only me could this happen to I guess sigh.

While I am able to send this email, I know yall aren't believing me, but
stranger things have occurred in the world of the internet..

I have a nice Dell desktop running windows 7 and the incredible wonderful
jaws 15.056, I am connected to the internet here, but on the laptop also
running same stuff, no connection, how, just how, is it possible?

The cable people are updating cables that this is affecting 556 people,
imagine that, they got it down to the exact number. I called to see what was
going on here, felt real dumb saying, well the internet is working on the
desktop but not the laptop, he was surely shaking his head, and saying, oh
me, not me today, not another one..

Now, here's another interesting tidbit I just know yall want to know..
While a reliable person who kindly setup this computer, also put window's
mail on it, I did not set it up, but here we are folks..yes siree I am
somehow able to send the email with the application that has not been setup,
now put that in your pipes and smoke it. Well, that's an old saying, which
don't prove nothing, but that my age is up there, haha.

So, you are by now thinking..what is the purpose of this query, right?

How am I able to have internet and use the WM if not been setup?

/Have a good day!

Trish

Another solution could be to pay all bills with one credit card or bank
debit card, and have only one bill pay item per month. I forget how many I
have, but I do know I have little time to pay these items before timing out.
Even using the find feature of Jaws does help, but typing in the search
string seems to take precious seconds. I tend to use the letters H and N
frequently. Whatever method I can get Jaws to help me with this I'm using,
it's not always the screen reader's fault here, there's just times where no
Jaws can go.

Well, here is what I found from my bank for screen readers..

Can I use assistive technology to access Electronic Bill Payment?
Yes, we've incorporated several enhancements based on priorities one and two
of the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
These enhancements aim to make Electronic Bill Payment more accessible to
assistive technology users.

Tips for Screen Reader Users
The following features may help you navigate Electronic Bill Payment more
easily:

Skip to Main Content Links-These links allow you to skip the page banner and
the redundant navigation links and go directly to the main page content.
Link Titles-If a link opens a new window, you are alerted in the link title.
Most of the links have descriptive labels, but we provide additional
information in the link title if necessary. For this reason, we recommend
that you set your screen reader to read the link title attributes.
Table Summaries-Whenever information is presented in a table format, we
provide a brief description of the contents.
Font Sizes-The fonts can be resized without significantly changing the
layout of a page.
Recommended Browsers
For best performance, we recommend you use one of the following supported
browsers:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 (Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7)
Firefox 12 (Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7) Apple Safari 5.1 (OS X
10.6 and 10.7) Chrome 19 (Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7)
Accessing the Payment Assistant The Payment Assistant is a dynamic layer
that provides payment-related information and links to certain features. The
Payment Assistant and some of the application frames accessed from it use a
presentation that may not be available to screen readers and other assistive
technology tools at this time. However, you can access the same information
and tasks on alternate application pages using the following table.

Hello,

is there a faster way to get to the stand alone player for mlb game day
audio? Right now it seems you have to click on the listen link which
brings up the media player and then you have to click on the stand alone
player to get to game day audio. The problem is when you click on the
listen link which brings up the media player some game starts playing
automatically before you can click on the stand alone player

and closing the player to disable this audio is sluggish. I hope I made

To make IE your default browser:

Go into Internet Options from the control panel. You can go to the

Hi Jerry,
If you've in the contact folder, and want to select more than one contact,
then you can just use the standard method for selecting items in a list
which aren't necessarily next to each other:
1. select the first contact.
2. start holding down the control key.
3. move to another contact you want using the keys: down arrow, up arrow,
home and end.
4. press spacebar to select the contact.
5. repeat 3 and 4 as desired.
6. stop holding down the ctrl key.

This method is only going to be useful is you have a fairly small number of
contacts, as moving around just using the arrow keys, plus home and end can
be a bit slow.
Alternatives are to use select recipients dialog, as someone has already
suggested, or to make use of autocomplete or check names. The latter two are
described in detail in the guide to windows mail which I mentioned in a
previous post.

David.

Hi Vicky,
To send an email to one or more of your contacts from the contacts folder,
and using windows mail:
1. In your Contacts folder, select one or more contacts.
2. Open their context menu, then open the Action sub-menu (access key A),
and then press Enter to choose the first menu item which is Send E-mail. 3.
A New Message window opens. The one or more contacts are already entered in
the To edit box, and the focus is at the end of this edit box.
More info about windows mail can be found in this guide to windows mail for

Breathe In, Breathe Out

By Brenda Gittens
This week's topic: Examine Yourself

What is the one thing we do every day without thinking about it hardly at
all? Breathe. And what's the one thing that we need to breathe with? That
one thing is air. There are so many different types of air that we are
confronted with on a daily basis. In the natural atmosphere, the air in some
places is filled with so many pollutants, toxins, germs and odors. But on
the other hand, there are places where we can find fresh, beautiful and
clean air too.

On a spiritual level, what type of air are you breathing in? Is it the
fresh, clean, holy presence of the Lord? Are you breathing in the aroma of
His word? Or is it filled with the things that Paul mentioned to the church
of Corinth? For I am afraid that when I come to visit you I won't like what
I find, and then you won't like my response. I am afraid that I will find
quarreling, jealously, outbursts of anger, selfishness, backstabbing,
gossip, conceit, and disorderly behavior.
(2 Corinthians 12:20, NLT).

When we go for a physical check-up, most of the time the doctor will tell us
to take a deep long breath and then let it out! They check to see if our
breathing and everything associated with it, is operating the way it should
be. This is also what the Holy Spirit does for us. The Holy Spirit lives in
us so that we can demonstrate all of the fruits of the spirit and become
more like Christ, have a consistent prayer life and study of God's word,
have the power to witness to folks, be ready for any spiritual battle, and
have the power to say no to all kinds of sin.

Spiritual breathing is just like physical breathing. We need it to live and
survive our Christian walk. We inhale and we exhale. If we inhale long, deep
breaths of the Lord's presence, his word, his will, his way, his plan, his
promises, his love, his joy, his peace, and a long deep prayer life, we will
breathe out all of that other stuff that's causing the air in our spiritual
body (temple) to be dirty!
We'll exhale it! The only way that we can keep the air that we breathe from
being polluted, is by continuing to ask the Holy Spirit to live in us, and
us living by the Spirit's power. For though your hearts were once full of
darkness, now you are full of light from the Lord, and your behavior should
show it! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and
true. (Ephesians 5:8-9, NLT)

Breathe in, breathe out. In the natural, we do it because that's how God
made us. In the spiritual, we have to do the same for survival and growth.
One thing to remember is that spiritual breathing is voluntary; it's your
choice and all it is, is the process of inhaling what's pure and clean and
exhaling what's not pure and clean.

Scripture Of The Day: For though your hearts were once full of darkness,
now you are full of light from the Lord, and your behavior should show it!
For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. -
Ephesians 5:8-9 (NLT)

That's correct using outlook and win 7 here and you need to use insert
control r to reply directly to sender

This is correct, but we're not talking about ctrl+shift+r.
We're talking about JAWS+Shift+r which in fact is reply directly to sender.
Not the same as ctrl+r which is reply and ctrl+shift+r which is reply to

Hi
It isn't specifically a blind sight.
However, christiancafe.com is quite accessible with JAWS. I just relabel any
of the buttons or links that have extra text. This is a feature in JAWS I
love. For instance it has a link that states tell-a-friend-off-button. Well,
It sounds offensive. Actually, it should read tell a friend. So, thanks to
JAWS I am able to make the link say the right thing.
Any way Christian Cafe is one
JAWS friendly dating sight.

God bless,
Mark

I don't know if it is faster but premium has more bells and whistles where
if you don't need these than home starter is probably adequate hope this
helps

When you got the game window open do a insert+0, then do a control+s and
alt+f4 and your done back in the game. You may lose that hand but ready for
the next.

I'm sure there is one, but I can't recall what it is?

I thought Fredom Scientific made the DAISY FS Reader a free product starting
with JAWS 11. As far as I know, the only way to get the FS Reader is to
download the full JAWS 11 version, even if you do not have a license for
that version. In that case, JAWS would only work in 40 minute demo mode.
Even if you uninstall JAWS 11, the FS Reader can remain as a full featured
version.

Jaws 11 demo = Fs reader demo which means you can only use it with FS

Good evening:

A littlewhile ago, I attempted to try and do an uninstall of Norton 2009
program from this computer. When I tried using the uninstall feature that
comes with the program, it wouldn't allow me to uninstall it through that
means. So then, I tried doing it through add remove programs, went down
the list until I got too the Norton anti virus programwent too the change
remove option hit the space bar and got the following message. Another
install of the program is running please wait until it is done. I waited
for about an hour or so, then did a cold shutdown rebooted the computer,
and the same thingshappened as they did before. Will I now have to use
the Norton removal tool too completely remove and uninstall the program?
I'm uninstallingit, because now when I try too read my email messages,
Live update cuts me off with there stupid alert telling me that my
subscription has 23 days before it expires, and I have the option too
renew it. If I can get rid of this program successfully, through the help
of list members, I'll install microsofts security essentialsin place of
Norton.

Hi Allen;

1. Go into your Jaws Context Menu with Jaws key/insert key + J if you run
Jaws out of the system tray. If you don't run Jaws from the system tray
tab

until you hear Jaws spoken.
2. When you hear Jaws spoken press the Alt key for the Jaws Context
Menu.
3. Press the letter O for options and then press the letter B for
basics.
4. Tab to automatically start Jaws and press the spacebar to check this
box

if it is unchecked and tab to okay and press enter.
That should make sure that Jaws11 is starting when your computer starts.
Hope this helps. Take care.

Research It is working ok for me, but I do have a question about the
info
going to a second page. I looked up a name and there were over 60
replies
with the first 10 or so showing. I could not find a continue button or
a
way to access the remaining entries. I'm probably overlooking
something.

It works fine here. Try deleting your user settings for JAWS. That's how
I

fixed it as initially it didn't work as the web page opened but with a
blank
virtual cursor. So take I clicked on a news story with BBC News? The web
page opens but with a blank virtual cursor. Deleting my user settings
and

problem solved. So try that, rather than uninstalling or complaining to
FS.

Hello! My name is Anders and i lost my sight in july 09. Before i went
blind i used Mirc to chat on irc every day, its a great place for help,
and also fun, trivias, and now i cant use it anymore cause it wont work
with jaws, at least not the version i use. Does anyone know of a Irc
client that work or if there is any scripts for JAWS? I would really be
happy if anyone could help me, ive tried a client named ice chat but i
couldnt even log on with it.

You need to click on the AVAST in the system tray and click on stop
onboard protection.

Then you can remove it completely.
If it isn't showing in the list of programs in the control panel go into
the C drive and click on program files and remove the AVAST folder. Then
restart your computer.

Hi All,
This morning when I turned on my computer, I had a message alerting me
that my Avast subscription had expired. Since I had decided some time
ago that when this happened, I'd like to try Ms Essentials. I downloaded
it, but it couldn't be installed until I removed Avast. So, I did what
was needed to remove Avast and, of course, I thought that was that. Not
so!!! It no longer showed up in my control panel, but was still alive in
my system tray and to make things worse, all day, the notice kept
popping up and interfered with everything I did. My question now is, how
do I uninstall Avast? I've tried everything I can think of with no
success. I'm sure someone on this list will come up with the answer I'm
looking for. Thanks in advance.

Research is great. However, the key press combination to launch it (inser
spaceBar r) is tricky for me. Seems you have to press it exactly right
or you will get either Jaws restriction message, or nothing at all. I
have not mastered a solution where it works correctly when pressed every
time. Also I wanted to get the NFL scores for a specific week so I typed
the phrase for example week 9or week 10 but NFL scores seems to always
bring up the upcoming schedule for the current week. Has anybody else
experie

need issues like this using research it?

It's a manufacturing kind of decision in that the disk will contain both
the
32 and 64 bit versions of JAWS along with all of the training material.
Add
to that the fact it will also include a demo copy of MAGIC on it as well.
The short of it is all of that software would most likely not fit on a
standard CD. Using a DVD instead will cost less on the production side of
things.

Hello Allen;

are you asking how to change a current hotkey for jaws?
or, are you wanting to create a hotkey, for another version of jaws.

Good evening everyone,

It seems that when I try to send someone an email message that's not in my
address book, I get the message after I hit the alt key plus s, that no
matches were found, new contact button, or okay button. My question is,
shouldn'tI have the ability too send some one an email even thoughtheir
not in my address book anyway? I'm using Jaws 10, windows xp with service
pakc 3, and outlook express 6.
