Hi Fanus, I do not use Avast, so I can't really comment on that part of your question, only to say that if you disable it to install Jaws, make sure that you disable your Internet connection first, and re-enable it before re-connecting to the Internet after installation. Did you re-install the patch scripts for Outlook Express in your Jaws 16 beta? I had to do that with the first release of Jaws 16. But, my update went fine and I am using OE with my Win 7 machine as I am writing this. I just ran the update from the Jaws update instead of downloading the whole beta. So, any problems in that regard with Jaws 16 beta, should probably not go on the beta report form. If I am mistaken, I hope that Eric will let us know. Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws 16 Beta
There are many other programs not owned or developed by Microsoft that run on Windows currently, several of which JAWS supports (or has supported). - Original Message - From: Bob t...@squashyware.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Wednesday, October 01, 2014 11:35 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws 16 Beta If the program is available officially for a supported version of windows then report it.
