[digikam] [Bug 405234] Refresh does no work
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405234 --- Comment #14 from caulier.gil...@gmail.com --- >@Gilles, this Windows computer also takes almost 35 seconds to load the >plugins. It's >up to the size of the plugins, maybe we should provide a 64 bit >version without a >debug code. I recommend to host debug symbols in pre-version bundles as we can expect bugs until final release. At official release, we can drop debug symbols from dll. In fact it's optional and already implemented since a very long time in bash scripts : https://cgit.kde.org/digikam.git/tree/project/bundles/mxe/config.sh#n70 Gilles -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 405234] Refresh does no work
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405234 --- Comment #16 from Maik Qualmann --- @Gilles Yes, I always create my windows test builds without debug code. Therefore, I found that Windows is very slow to load the plugin when these are several megabytes in size. Without debug symbols it is very fast. This problem occurs less in a virtual machine. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405325 --- Comment #10 from Jean-Claude --- I checked that my computer and the mount are synchronized. But I think that I found a good track pointing the culprit and you can check it with the KStars simulator. Conditions : - CCD Module : no flip, no capture - Mount Module : flip Select a star on the East of the meridian and slew the mount. Select the Summary Module (IMPORTANT !) When the target passes the meridian, he Capture / Status will change from "Idle" to "Meridian flip" (normal) but doesn't return to "Idle" after. [buildsystem] [Bug 369554] sleeper design bug in the installation layout due to assumptions about filesystem case sensitivity
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369554 --- Comment #11 from RJVB --- OK, so I was wrong in thinking that only a minority of frameworks do this let's-add-another-directory-layer thing (which still feels like a solution in search of a problem to me). Here's the list I've compiled so far, based on the frameworks I install - which excludes anything (really) not supported on Mac and of course everything that's not part of the frameworks collection. Given the length of that list we're looking at a lot of copy/paste and code duplication (and there's the unknown number of "mere" libraries that may be making the same error). So I'd really urge to set the install destitination in the ECM macro used to generate the forwarding headers, so the change to individual frameworks CMakeList files can be limited to removing some newly-redundant code: - attica - baloo - kactivities - kactivities-stats - kdeclarative{,calendarevents, kquickaddons, quickaddons} - kdesu - kdnssd - kfilemetadata - kio{core, gui, widgets} - kjsembed - kpackage - kparts - kpeople{,backend} - kross - krunner - ktexteditor - kunitconversion - kxmlrpcclient - purpose - solid - sonnet - threadweaver PS: am I right that these forwarding headers could be symlinks on Unix-based platforms? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

In that case, it would be smart to provide that information, to help the user :) I use mostly private windows, really mostly to protect myself against tracking. I only use the default window in cases where the private window does not work, a few public websites in DK primarily. [krita] [Bug 368849] [WACOM] Krita does not react to Wacom Penabled tabletPC stylus's Top Barrel Button/2nd Switch mouse event on canvas
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368849 --- Comment #7 from Tyson Tan --- (In reply to Boudewijn Rempt from comment #6) > I'm horribly afraid that that isn't even possible the way Qt handles events > :-( It's okay, this issue was basically Wacom being stingy and tries to screw over its customers. It's unnatural for an application to workaround a deliberately devised hardware limit. If it's impossible, let's just close this bug. On the other hand... Is it possible for Krita to directly handle xinput (the event system used by gamepads)? I'm currently using a gamepad and assigned right-click to one of its buttons alongside with other Krita shortcuts. It works pretty well although I had to use a event translator like antimicro to achieve this. As far as I know, there are many other artist who use a NES style wireless/bluetooth gamepad to do the same thing in place of Wacom's overpriced, overcomplicated Expresskey Remote Controller. This is really a productivity booster, especially for those who lives in a tight space. If it is easily feasible for Krita to handle xinput, and you are not against the idea, I would love to submit a wishlist report! ;) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krita] [Bug 368849] [WACOM] Krita does not react to Wacom Penabled tabletPC stylus's Top Barrel Button/2nd Switch mouse event on canvas
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368849 --- Comment #8 from Tyson Tan --- (In reply to Tyson Tan from comment #7) The reason I would love to have direct xinput support in Krita is because an event translator like antimicro has a lot of limitation and introduces delay and key event congestion issues. It is also technically complicated. So if Krita can just assign actions to gamepads, it would be a life-saver. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404856 --- Comment #3 from Vlad Zagorodniy --- Hmm, it seems like this is a client issue indeed. [latte-dock] [Bug 405468] New: "Prefer opaque background when touching any window" won't work
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405468 Bug ID: 405468 Summary: "Prefer opaque background when touching any window" won't work Product: latte-dock Version: git (master) Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: application Assignee: mvourla...@gmail.com Reporter: palerm...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 118801 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=118801&action=edit Screenshot SUMMARY "Prefer opaque background when touching any window" option stopped working on a second latte-dock instance as a lateral left panel. The said panel stays transparent/blurred even when maximized touching windows are present or touching it. The other latte instance as panel on top, still works as intended. This worked as expected a couple of git releases ago. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add a second latte panel on the left "as Unity/Gnome Dash". 2. Enable "Prefer opaque background when touching any window" 3. Touch panel with any window. OBSERVED RESULT The panel stays transparent/blurry. EXPECTED RESULT The panel gets opaque when any window touches it. [okular] [Bug 405462] wrong display of annotation
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405462 Tobias Deiminger changed: What|Removed |Added CC||haxti...@posteo.de --- Comment #3 from Tobias Deiminger --- (In reply to Ferdinand Gassauer from comment #2) > Thanks for the quick answer. > pdftocairo -pdf y.pdf x.pdf > produces a file x.pdf which shows the correct result once opened with okular > wheras y.pdf shows the wrong result This is related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401999. Okular currently works so that it draws a stamp icon *on top of* a page rendered by poppler. The icon gets selected by annotation meta data (probably /Name = Draft, in your case). The approach causes trouble if a PDF contains a pregenerated appearance for the stamp along with its meta data. The appearance is drawn by poppler, and the icon is drawn by Okular on top of it. Albert already suggested a solution which should work here too: > Actually fixing this pdf "the right way" is not hard, > we just need https://paste.kde.org/pk6wzgiqs in poppler > and then a "backendPaintsStamp" or similar in the > okular core annotation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
