Re: [LegacyUG] Removing notes from family tree
I use Notepad++ and regular expression to edit the gedcom file and remove all notes Search for ^\d\s\b(NOTE|CONT|CONC)\b.*\R and replace with [nothing] will remove all lines starting with a digit followed by a space and then NOTE or CONT or CONC. Above search is a part of a rather big macro that is modifying my gedcom to suit my purposes Den sön 9 feb. 2020 kl 04:37 skrev Cathy Pinner : > I'm not sure whether you can include Events without their Event notes. Re: [LegacyUG] Removing notes from family tree
I'm not sure whether you can include Events without their Event notes. I don't think so. Maybe you just want to export vital events. If so use the Basic option. If you want sources with the Basic option you need to add the tags SOUR and PAGE to to the items to export on the Customise screen. Cathy Gene Young <mailto:n2...@cfl.rr.com> Sunday, 9 February 2020 11:22 AM dio9splay is a typo for display. On the ribbon select file > export > Gedcom File (or just press ctrl + E).
