2015 15” MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 16 GB RAM 500 GB Flash/SSD storage Brand new Apple installed battery - 0 charge cycles Dual Graphics - Intel Iris Pro + AMD Radeon R9 M370X This machine is in fantastic shape and has been well cared for, single owner purchased new, non-smoking/pet-free home. All ports tested and working. Screen is bright and clear with no dead pixels or scratches. Hinge is still nice and tight. Keyboard in great condition with no worn off keys. Battery was just replaced by Apple under warranty, and it has 0 charge cycles (though I can charge before shipment). Wifi, Bluetooth, camera and mic all tested and working. Has a handful of minor cosmetic blemishes, and is missing one of the black rubber feet on its bottom. Overall, this is a really nice machine. This Mini has been in regular use for many years by an older relative, and the time has finally come to retire it. It seems to work well, with all functions still working from what I can tell. Wifi connects, CD/DVD drive still reads disks (I reloaded Snow Leopard 10.6.3 from an Apple DVD with it), no issues noticed while working with it. Specs - 1.66 Intel Core Duo, 2 GB RAM, 60 GB Fujitsu hard drive. Includes the original Apple power cord. No other accessories or packaging are included with this item. Just the mini and the power cord (with power brick). I don’t have a spare OS DVD to include, but it has a fresh 10.6 install, which when updated to 10.6.8 is apparently the newest Mac OS it can run. Finally time to get rid of this mishmash of random parts. Looks like 4 of those L shaped brackets from 2006 era MacBooks that covered the HD tray next to the battery. A drive bracket from a 2011 iMac. Fan from some 06-08 era laptop, several 2.5” SSD spacers, a drive bracket from one of the 2006 era Mac books, etc. Nothing on its own is worth much, but perhaps some value for someone that is still deep in these machines. It is running the current/newest macOS (Monterey, version 12.5) and has been factory reset so that when you boot it up for the first time, you will set it up as a brand new Mac. There is no activation lock and iCloud has been signed out. Just got this machine back from a client. 2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, 250 GB HD. Everything seems to be working fine (DVD drive, webcam, ports, wifi, etc), though if I were keeping this machine the first thing I’d do would be to swap in an SSD for the hard drive. Battery charges and will be included, but you should consider it spent, given its age and charge cycles. Body is in good cosmetic condition, but does show some minor wear which I’d consider normal for its age. No charger included. I’ve done a fresh install of Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) to do testing, but you can install a newer compatible OS if you’d like. I’d like $110 shipped for it, or best offer. FS: Liquid damaged 2012 13" Macbook Pro, pre-retina
Just got this from a client because it wouldn’t boot. Opened it up and immediately see evidence of liquid damage on the logic board. Computer powers on (will not post or chime, nothing on screen) and fan ramps up. Battery seems to charge as expected when plugged into a charger. Tried a number of things, but nothing seems to bring it back. I have removed the drive and RAM. Everything else remains (I can remove the battery and recycle if you’d like—no idea of battery health, but I think it’s the original battery, so probably not great). Because it won’t boot, I can’t verify other specs (I assume it’s a base model) or any other functionality. This is a long shot — but I’ve got 2 of the A1243 Apple Extended aluminum USB keyboards (with number pads). And one of the A1314 aluminum bluetooth keyboards (that takes 2 x AA batteries). All 3 are dead or defective in a way that I don’t feel like performing surgery on. They’re in good shape physically (with only one or two worn keys), and so I’m wondering if anyone would find value in buying these for keycaps. Looks like there’s somewhat of a market on eBay. FS: 2013 11" Macbook Air
I have a very nice mid-2013 11” MacBook Air for sale. 1.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB RAM, 120 GB SSD. It has a new 3rd party battery with a handful of charge cycles. At this point, the battery seems to get at least 2 hours run time when running a full screen YouTube video from 100% to 0% charge with screen brightness all the way up and sound muted. I have done this charge/discharge cycle 4 times just to test the battery health. I’m also including a brand new 45w Apple Magsafe 2 charging cord (box included). This is a really sweet little machine. Cosmetically, I’d rate it an 8/10. The “S” and “L” keys show some slight wear (see photos), and there are some other minor cosmetic scuffs at various places on the body. The screen seems bright, clear and blemish free. I have used this as a backup machine for about 3 months and I’ve not discovered any issues with its functionality. The machine is currently running 10.14 (Mojave) and will be reset to a fresh install of that before shipment. I have at least 3 SATA to USB 3 boards from some drives that I have “shucked” (removed drive mechanism from the external enclosure in order to use the drive internally elsewhere). I found this in my computer bag, and realized I had barely even used it this past year. So, time to get rid of it. I assume there's a bulging battery or something, because the screen is pushing out at the top of the phone. Phone still works, but touchscreen is acting up. FS: 2012 13" MacBook Pro i7 / 2.9 GHz
The (potentially) bad: Just got this machine from a client that upgraded. They reported that they have been having intermittent issues where it will give the 3-beep sound when trying to boot (usually indicating an issue with RAM). Upon first inspection, I’m getting similar behavior. But after reseating the RAM, and having temporary success with booting, the beeping behavior will return after several reboots. I’ve discovered that it will boot and run reliably with a single stick of RAM in either slot. Put both sticks back in and it’s back to the 3-beep sound. Remove one, beeps are gone. I have tested this several times right in a row, letting it sit overnight several times, etc. It works as expected with a single stick of RAM in either slot. RAM is brand new Crucial brand, FWIW. The good: Very nice machine. Works well once it has booted (which is now does reliably with 1 stick of RAM). 2.9 GHz i7 CPU, 4gb RAM, 500 GB Samsung SSD. Original Apple battery showing 756 charge cycles and “Normal” health. Includes Apple original charger and the extension charging cord (no duck adapter). Machine is quite nice overall, with a few dings. 2 small scratch/indents on bottom case cover. Top left corner of lid shows evidence of small bump damage at the corner. Screen is bright and clear. Keyboard has all letters clearly seen. Hinge has a little play, but does stay in place securely when opened to various extents. $250 shipped for machine as described above, or best offer. I’d remove the drive (-$40), RAM (-$10) and charger (-$15) if you’d like to save a little. FS: Tiny screwdrivers for MacBook Pro battery replacement
Over the past couple of years I refurbished a bunch of laptops, mostly in the 2008-2012 era. Part of that included replacing batteries. Buying replacement batteries often includes free tools to do the job, since there are usually tri-lobe screws holding in the battery. As a result, I ended up with about 15 or so sets of screwdrivers—looks like one Phillips and one Tri-lobe screwdriver needed for each repair. I already have other screwdrivers, so these screwdrivers are essentially useless to me. How about $10 shipped for the lot? I think this came with one of my iMacs a few years ago (maybe the 2013 21”???). I think it was used briefly, but has been only pulled out occasionally to test bluetooth on various machines. FS: Parts unit (intermittent GPU issue) - 2011 MacBook Pro 15" i7
I’ve got a recently decommissioned 2011 MacBook Pro 15” with an i7 CPU for sale. It has started exhibiting the GPU issues so the family member that had it decided to get something newer. Just checked, and it will still boot up. But I wouldn’t count on that long term without a fix. It is in excellent physical/cosmetic condition. No significant cosmetic issues— some minor surface scuffing on the very top and bottom of the case, but corners and sides are in excellent condition. Screen is clear and bright. The cmd key to the left of the space bar is starting to show signs of wear in the middle of the “command” and symbol on the key are unaffected. This unit does NOT have a MagSafe charger included. An Apple battery is included and installed. Not sure how much life it has left, but it does still hold some charge. The laptop had 8gb RAM (2 x 4gb chips) and a 500 GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD installed when last used. I will sell with both of those included and installed (SSD will ship blank) for $160 shipped. If you want to drop the RAM, subtract $10, if you want to drop the SSD, subtract $35. If you don’t think these prices are fair, make an offer. FS: iPad 2 16gb - Wifi + Cellular model
Family member recently upgraded to a newer model. This one is ready for a new home. iPad 2 (not Air 2) (showing 2011-06-20 as manufacture date). 16 GB storage, Wifi + 3G model. Not sure whether it is still possible to activate/use this as a 3G device.The screen has some scratches on the glass surface, but the LED screen itself seems even and bright. The sides and back of the iPad are in very good shape (I think it was used in a case). Running iOS 9.3.6 (newest it can handle). I’ve tested wifi functionality, taken photos, charged it, all seems to work as expected. This model has the old style 30-pin connector for charging and sync. I’m including a used USB/30-pin cable, but no USB charger. I will do an erase/reset/restore before shipment. I think I used this with Parallels or other virtualization software. No idea if it will still activate. Parallels Desktop 8. Retail package. Used. Includes serial #/activation #. No idea if this will activate. Office 2011 Home and Student - Retail pack. 3 user version. Includes product key as well. The last time I tried to install this, it would no longer activate “too many activations”. Despite only using it on 3 Macs at a time, there’s no way to deactivate old, unused installs. There may be ways around activation, but I went ahead and purchased Office 2016 instead. No idea if this will activate. Please check compatibility for these before purchasing. FS: 2009 13" MacBook Pro
I have a 2009 13” MacBook Pro for sale. It is in excellent condition with ONE exception. The trackpad clicks, but the click does not register in the OS. Adjusting the screw tension has no effect. I did not yet try a replacement trackpad cable, so not sure whether that is the root cause or not. This issue is easily addressed in system prefs, but enabling the “tap to click” option, which allows you to tap the trackpad to register a click without actually pressing down. This is working just fine in the installed 10.11. USB mice also are working as expected. If I don’t get any bites on this machine, I may order a trackpad cable to test that out. Specs are as follows - 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 500 GB hard drive, GeForce 9400M 256 MB GPU. Brand new 3rd party battery. This is in excellent cosmetic condition—maybe 8.5 out of 10. No significant scratches anywhere. Some minor scuffing on the bottom case and on the top case. Screen is clear with no dead pixels, all keys on the keyboard are clear. I will include a 60w MagSafe charger (no extension). I’d like $165 shipped for this. I’m happy to leave off RAM, drive or MagSafe if you’d like to save a couple of bucks. I’ve got a nice 2012 MacBook Pro 15” for sale. It is a 2.6 GHz Core i7, it has 8 GB RAM, a new 500 GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1gb GPU, 1680x1050 high res glossy screen upgrade. The battery is original, showing in “normal” condition, with just over 700 charge cycles. I’d give it a 7.5 of 10 cosmetic rating, just a few scuffs on the metal body. Screen and keyboard are in excellent condition. I will include an Apple 85w MagSafe charger in excellent condition. It has a fresh install of Mac OS El Capitan 10.11, but should work with up to 10.14 Mojave (though I wouldn’t recommend that upgrade without an SSD). As specced above, I’d like $425 shipped for it. My wife strongly encourages me to accept any reasonable offer :-) PowerBook G4 15” (A1095) Aluminum - Unit powers on, but appears as though no OS is installed, because I get the flashing ? icon when booting. No idea about size or health of internal hard drive, or RAM capacity (I assume it wouldn’t boot without RAM). Battery still included, but assume it’s non-functional because of age. This is the model with FW 400 and 800 ports, USB, DVI, S-video out, built in modem. I think this is the model that just preceded the switch to intel, but it is possible I’m wrong. According to everymac, I think this is the 2004-2005 model. Powerbook G4 15” (A1001) Titanium - Unit powers on and boots to 10.3.5. This one has a 800 MHz G4, 1 GB RAM, 60 GB hd. Seems to work pretty well. The bottom cover is missing all its screws, so it does not fully stay on. Includes battery. This one has FW400 , ethernet, usb, dvi, s-video output and a modem. Looks like this one is a 2002 model. Powerbook G3 Pismo/Firewire - I don’t have a power adapter for this one so I can’t test whether it turns on. Specs on bottom of case tell me 400 MHz, 64 mb ram, 10gb hd, 8mb video, DVD. Has 2 FW 400 ports, USB, ethernet, modem and VGA. Let’s say $25 each + $25 shipping per order, regardless of quantity purchased. I only have one working power adapter that works with the G4’s. The machine has been fully tested, wifi and built-in camera work great. Screen is in good condition, all letters on the keyboard are clear and visible. No battery is included with this computer. CD/DVD drive works as expected, all other functions are working great as well. It has been in use in my home for the past several years as a TV-connected computer, but we’re changing our TV setup and no longer need this computer. The SSD has only had 4 TB LBAs written, and Drive Dx is showing me a healthy drive, with about 99% of SSD lifetime left. Tons of connectivity options — HDMI, Firewire 800, usb, gigabit ethernet, audio in/out, etc. I’ll include the power cord, but no other accessories will be included. I will reset to a fresh 10.12 install. Looks like this machine originally shipped with 10.6 and is also advertised to handle 10.13. I think I used this with Parallels or other virtualization software. No idea if it will still activate. Free - Parallels Desktop 8. Retail package. Used. Includes serial #/activation #. No idea if this will activate. Free - Office 2011 Home and Student - Retail pack. 3 user version. Includes product key as well. The last time I tried to install this, it would no longer activate “too many activations”. Despite only using it on 3 Macs at a time, there’s no way to deactivate old, unused installs. There may be ways around activation, but I went ahead and purchased Office 2016 instead. No idea if this will activate. Please check compatibility for these before purchasing. FS: unlocked iPhone SE 32 GB - with "No service" message
Bought this used a few months back to keep on hand as a spare. Went to test it out today and am finding that while everything seems to work, it can’t seem to connect to a cell network. I have several known-good SIM cards that work fine in other devices, but this one doesn’t seem to be able to turn on cell service. I’ll get what looks to be the start of connection (carrier name shown in the top bar), but it will never fully connect. I had tried the same SIM cards back a few months ago , and at that time, they worked as expected. I have since updated to the most current iOS 12.1.4, so I’m not sure whether there may be something going on there. Also possible there is a hardware issue with the antenna, etc, but I know better than to open up something this small to attempt a repair. At any rate, this is a space gray 32 GB Unlocked iPhone SE. Battery health is at 84%, so it will likely benefit from a new battery at some point. I was able to do a full restore/update in iTunes today, and got the “congratulations, your iPhone is unlocked” message. It is in fantastic cosmetic and functional condition (except for cell service issue). I am happy to provide the IMEI number for anyone that wants it, but don’t count on being able to get it actually working as more than a really nice iPod. I will include a usb charge/sync cable, but not charger “brick”. I’d like $75 shipped for it, or best offer. Up for sale is a very nice Late 2011 15” MacBook Pro. 2.4 GHz Core i7 CPU, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HD with 1680x1050 high res screen. All functions have been tested and everything is working as it should be. Optical drive tested, iSight tested, various ports, etc. Hard drive has no SMART errors/issues. There is some damage on one corner (see photo), but it does not affect functionality in any way. Keys on the keyboard are clear and respond as expected. Trackpad works well. Hinge has the right level of tension, and the laptop folds up smoothly. There are 436 charge cycles on the included original battery. It is in “normal” condition, and still holds a good charge. Just got three vintage laptops along with some other machines that I’m working on refurbishing. These three are old enough that I don’t have chargers or OS disks needed in order to test them out. I do NOT have a charger to include, and the system is not currently charged, so I cannot check whether it boots or not. I suspect it does, but no guarantees. No accessories included. Just the laptop as described above and as shown in the photos. $50 - iBook G3 - White - No idea of specs - Date of 2002 on bottom case - Model A1007 I have not taken this one apart to verify all internals, but it looks to be complete. No cracking or discoloring on the palmrest (may have been replaced at some point?). Some scratching/scuffing on the body, but nothing major. FS: Apple 29w USB-C chargers
I have a couple of these. Apple originally marketed them for the 12” MacBook that was introduced a few years back. However, they work for charging just about any device—iPhones, iPads, etc. They obviously can charge more quickly than the tiny 5w USB chargers that usually come with the iPhones. These chargers are just for the charging “brick”. You need to supply a compatible USB-C to whatever connector cable you need for the devices you charge. I’ve used one of these with a usb-c to lightning for charging iOS devices. Other combinations should work as long as you have the right cable. This particular type of charger was discontinued by Apple and replaced with a new 30w charger — not exactly sure of the difference. I have 2 of these available for sale. FS: Seagate / DJI 2TB "Fly Drive" - USB-C external 2.5" portable hard drive
Brand new, still factory sealed. These are Seagate units, with DJI (the company that makes drones, etc) branding as well. Called “DJI Fly Drive”. 2 TB capacity, USB-C connectivity. They include a built-in micro-SD slot on the drive enclosure itself to facilitate easy offloading of drone camera footage (requires connecting to a computer for offloading). The drive has a rubber “bumper” type of surround for better durability, I suppose. And they include a 1 foot long USB-C to USB-C cable. USB-C is a different connector from the standard USB-A connector. But you can get adapters if your computer doesn’t have USB-C (many newer Macs have them). Just ran a disk speed test on one of them, and I’m getting about 120 MB/s read and write with an empty drive, connected via USB-C. Got this in a machine that I have since parted out. I don’t currently have a need for it. According to the stats in DriveDX, it has only been very lightly used (2.1TB written), and 99-100% of lifetime left/health rating on all health parameters. It is a 2.5” SATA drive, 1TB in capacity, Samsung 860 EVO. This is a currently shipping model, gets fantastic reviews.
