Linux, except for the two versions of the program, which I pointed out in
comments 14 and 15. Error persists in these versions of herself. Posts that
Bug_46176 and Bug_36982 are fixed was not.

deadlock and instead live with the occasional test failure for now (the problem
leading to the naive join attempt had been some test failing during shutdown).

menu Arrange. You get a menu as follows:

  [$] Bring to Front
  Bring Forward
  Send Backward
  [$] Send to Back

  [$] To Background

The [$] denotes the icons. One sees that the Forward/Backward items do not have
an icon. Using the 3.5.0 release, all items had an icon.

Impress is in slideshow mode showing slides on the external display.

However, the extension has absolutely no visible effect on what happens. My
screen looks exactly the same as if the extension wasn't installed, and there
are no error messages. The only indication that it's installed is that I can
see it in the extensions manager.

This bug occurs on every machine I've tested over the last approximately two

 I've went from 1.6.0_21 through 1.6.0_24 and back with the same results,
 however with 3.4.5 - java 1.6.0_24 renders it almost useless. I use this on a
 daily basis in production, I'm up to speed with the gotcha's and have work
 arounds as I do now, however first impressions mean a lot, I'd hate someone to
 walk away from the software based on a glitch...

Oh I agree absolutely, its just that I can't reproduce any noticeable slow down
on my 7 year old single core AMD64 / 768Mb RAM with the build from master
(which is equal to current 3.5.1 RC2). On this machine, LO is slow, so anything
that makes it noticeably slower hits me in the face straightaway and I just
don't see that with the file you posted.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 44982] EasyHack: add helper method to sal's File abstraction

2012-03-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44982

--- Comment #8 from Michael Meeks michael.me...@novell.com 2012-03-09
02:34:50 PST ---
yep - it's sad that the interface has to have this unfortunate 'isLink'
ambiguity that rather complicates symlinked situations, at least the
getLinkTargetURL() is a fully resolved path for this case - ie. following all
the symlinks down to the bottom via 'realpath'.

Which makes me wonder - why do we have salhelper/inc/salhelper/LinkResolver -
which is substantially un-used, and un-necessary for Unix [ cf. the above ].

I'd be eager to bin / deprecate / write-that out.

The isDirectory method creates the obvious cleanup in basic/ eg. of removing:

basic/source/runtime/methods.cxx-static inline sal_Bool isFolder(
FileStatus::Type aType )

But - of course isDirectory is also imprecise in this case, so all this code
breaks for symlinked directories as well as symlinked files :-)

git grep 'FileStatus.*Link' | nl

shows we have only 43 sites checking for and handling Links properly of which
20 are in sal unit tests ;-)

git grep 'getFileStatus' | nl

shows 187 hits (100 in sal) ... so - in general we get link handling wrong it
seems in a large majority of cases.

So - we should fix this by default in our API. IMHO Link handling is a minority
use-case, primarily useful on writing files - to make sure we get the semantics
of unlink-replace vs. write-through-link right.

But of course we do a lot more reading than writing, and ~all directory / file
traversing code is broken.

Ergo - I think we need to tweak getFileStatus to do a better job by default.

I'll attach a patch; I think we need to go around checking each of those 87+
getFileStatus calls, to see if they are non-link-handling, and add a 'true'
parameter if they are not.

Then (I guess) we don't need to worry about the Link type being returned it
never will be. Concrete, actionable thoughts / improvements ?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 37625] Don`t show a grid/Borders in Calc are not affected from Basic

2012-03-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37625

--- Comment #11 from Noel Power nopo...@novell.com 2012-03-09 03:13:33 PST ---
oBorder = CellRange.BottomBorder
With oBorder
.Color = 0
.InnerLineWidth = 10
.OuterLineWidth = 0
.LineDistance = 0
End With

CellRange.BottomBorder = oBorder

the pattern above should work fine, oBorder is a copy of that
css:table::BorderLine structure. And

CellRange.BottomBorder = oBorder

will set the BottomBorder property of the CellRange object. Infact I just
slapped a debugger on the calc uno object, it does get the correct values from
basic. So... this aint a basic problem but a calc uno object problem, not sure
if this really is a regression, if this was reproducible in LibO 3.2 rc1 then I
would strongly guess this is inherited from the old openoffice code. But...
whatever it still is imo a bad bug ( I'll have a look at the calc code to see
if anything jumps out as been awfully wrong )

note: it sortof mentioned in the some of the previous comments that modifying a
member of a structure directly doesn't work. e.g

even if

  CellRange.BottomBorder = oBorder

worked correctly then

  CellRange.BottomBorder.InnerLineWidth = 10

will never work. This is not a limitation of Basic but rather down to UNO.
CellRange has a property BottomBorder which is struct. Structures in UNO are
returned by value, the line 'CellRange.BottomBorder.InnerLineWidth = 10'
modifies the the returned ( maybe temporary is a better term ) structure

I know that there is a bug that it does not read many pages. It is being solved
as the bug #36982, so we do not need to have opened this bug because of it. Or
do you think that the pages here are not read because of different reason?

It does not help that MinGW build loads the page correctly. We do not use MinGW
for producing the release build. So this information is interesting but it does
not say anything about how old the bug is.

Please, open another bug for the missing particular formulas page 6 (par.16)
and on page 9 on Linux. We should newer discuss more bugs in one bug report. It
just brings confusing.

So, tell me, why do we need to keep this messed bug opened?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47143] New: activate support for complex text layout based on user's keyboard layout

2012-03-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Today I saw this bug in launchpad,

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/274552

and just because of that I decided to make an account here and give a
suggestion to make LibreOffice even better!

That bug was reported because the user didn't know that he/she should activate
complex text layout (CTL) support before starting with LibreOffice. CTL support
is ESSENTIAL for users of RTL languages like Hebrew, Arabic, but it's not
active by default, and many users don't know how to activate it.

I think one good solution is to look for keyboard layouts in the system. If LO
finds keyboard layouts of certain languages, it will activate support for CTL.
Now the question is, is there any way in LibreOffice to find keyboard layouts
installed on the system? I know that this is very OS-specific, but I hope
something is already written for that. If yes, then this fix can be easily
implemented.

 Looks pretty broken in 3.4 for me too. Could you attach a reference picture
 showing what you expect (e.g. what you did see in 3.4, but not anymore in
 3.5)?

Previous LibO 3.4.5 was very much better than current 3.5 with the good
placement positioning of Table objects, but object height truncated for the
bigger fonts items. Current 3.5 made a total mess of Table objects position on
the page.

The .doc/.rtf files were generated by some Crystal report engine and can be
used in M$ Word perfectly positioned.

 do you think that the pages here are not read because of different reason?

 Yes, I think it's different errors. I think that there is an error opening the
file in the algorithm.
 LibreOffice_Writer determined that some kind of formula is longer than the
width of the page. Then it begins to open the file, creating a temporary ODT
(in fact, not by name):
- LibO_Writer (Windows OS) stops when it sees the type of OLE-object as
formula;
- It ignores the long formula in Linux (no AltLinux-6) and creates an empty
space.
 This specific work is the result of differences in operating systems.

-
 It does not help that MinGW build loads the page correctly. We do not use
 MinGW
 for producing the release build. So this information is interesting but it
 does
 not say anything about how old the bug is.

 Need to compile a separate RC3 (Win_x86 only). Windows OS users will believe
the program again in this case only. LibO-3.5.1RC2_Win_x86 is not necessary for
the Windows user such that it is now.

I'm going to close this,

but first I have to say I spent quite some time with this out of sheer
stupidity, first I didn't see any change in when running the macro Note I was
using the

dim oBorder as new com.sun.star.table.BorderLine
With oBorder
.Color = 0
.InnerLineWidth = 10
.OuterLineWidth = 0
.LineDistance = 0
End With

variant of the macro.

After debugging for a while I could see no problem, then I noticed after moving
the cursor the borders where in fact changed :-) the cursor which formed the
selection the macro acted upon ) obscured the small increase ( for me at least
) of the changes to the linesize made by the macro. Anyway I came back for a
final look to just recheck and this time I used the

oBorder = CellRange.bottomBorder
With oBorder
.Color = 0
.InnerLineWidth = 10
.OuterLineWidth = 0
.LineDistance = 0
End With

approach an noticed that indeed I wasn't getting any changes :-/

Turns out that the problem here is that CellRange.bottomBorder now returns
http://api.libreoffice.org/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/table/BorderLine2.html

so the LineWidth there is picked up from 'oBorder = CellRange.bottomBorder' and
it's value overwrites whatever changes were made to 'InnerLineWidth' etc.

hope that makes sense

  I've went from 1.6.0_21 through 1.6.0_24 and back with the same results,
  however with 3.4.5 - java 1.6.0_24 renders it almost useless. I use this
  on a
  daily basis in production, I'm up to speed with the gotcha's and have work
  arounds as I do now, however first impressions mean a lot, I'd hate someone
  to
  walk away from the software based on a glitch...

 Oh I agree absolutely, its just that I can't reproduce any noticeable slow
 down
 on my 7 year old single core AMD64 / 768Mb RAM with the build from master
 (which is equal to current 3.5.1 RC2). On this machine, LO is slow, so
 anything
 that makes it noticeably slower hits me in the face straightaway and I just
 don't see that with the file you posted.

 Alex

If you load the file, go to forms and open invoice, use record browser and move
forward and reverse - in my case, the grand total takes a few seconds to update
- if I roll back to 3.4.5 its immediate. If your not experiencing this at all,
perhaps its the debian distro - however I cannot imagine that being the case, I
can fire up an old box and slam another disto as a test. The file posted here
has only a few records, the production file I use has well over 5000, however
that makes no difference with this issue, no matter how many records - it hangs
a few seconds. I'll give another distro a shot and post results...

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47149] New: EDITING Dutch postal codes containing AM or PM are interpreted as time formats

2012-03-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47149

 Bug #: 47149
   Summary: EDITING Dutch postal codes containing AM or PM are
interpreted as time formats
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Spreadsheet
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: stephanv...@gmail.com

Dutch postal codes comprise of four digits followed by two characters.
In Libre Office these postal codes are routinely mistaken for time formats when
they end with AM or PM.

How to reproduce:
- Enter a dutch postal code ending with AM or PM (e.g. 5401 AM) in a cell.

Expected behaviour:
- The cell will display 5401 AM.

Actual behaviour:
- The cell will display 5401:00:00, some kind of time format.

Note that in the Netherlands 24-hour time formats are used, without AM or PM.

Note also, that any valid time entry using AM or PM will use a number = 12,
and certainly not a number = 1000 like in the Dutch postal codes.

This behaviour occurs was observed in several places in Libre Office, not just
in Calc:

1: Entering a postal code in a cell in Calc

See example above.

2: Entering a postal code in a table in Writer, when Number Recognition is
on.

The error is not immediately obvious here, but including these cells in ranges
e.g. for sums will produce unexpected results

3: Importing data from CSV files into Calc

Workarounds exist in this case, but most Dutch users will be unaware of the
problem and the workaround.

4: Importing data from CSV files for a mail merge into Writer

In the main menu, in the dialog under Insert | Fields | Other, CSV files can be
added as a database source in the tab Database.

LO uses the first line / record to try and automatically determine the data
types of the fields in the CSV file. When that first line contains a postal
code including AM or PM, things go wrong in the merge.

There are workarounds for this, but most Dutch users will be unaware of this
problem buried deep inside LO.

Firstly - current boxes are debian 64, I7's 2.6GHz with 9gb ram - why - because
I'm crazy, however I loaded Ubuntu 11.10 x86 on an older HP Intel Centrino
1GHz 2gb and although the entire process of opening was slow, the problem is
obvious. The difference being 3.4.4 came with the Ubuntu install, when I first
opened it, agreed I could hardly tell the difference because everything was
slow, and the subform was as slow as the entire application, when I uninstalled
/ purged / rm'd .lib* config files, reloaded 3.5.0, its obvious everything is
slow, however the subform grand total is much slower. Now when using this on
faster machines, the ONLY thing slow is the subform, the application is very
fast. In other words, I can open and begin entering an invoice on my
production machines while the HP is still opening - so it's not a good
comparison???

I managed to created labels for this before, but yesterday I just wouldn't
work.
LibreOffice 3.5

First of all the the page size is set 'user' instead of A4. It is not possible
to set this before you click the 'new document' button.

Instead of having 2 labels side by side. I got all my labels in 1 row on 2
different pages. It seems the labels in the right columns wouldn't fit on the
page and were placed in the left column instead. There was some sort of
invisible 5mm border on the right side of the page that I'm not allowed to use.

After some fiddling with the page size and the margins and the size of the
labels I finally managed to get a page with 2 column of labels.

But there certainly is something wrong with that label generator!!!

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47151] New: Printer language PDF causing problems

2012-03-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47151

 Bug #: 47151
   Summary: Printer language PDF causing problems
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: LibO 3.5.1 RC1
  Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Libreoffice
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: hc.stoellin...@aon.at

When I print from LO-Writer, PDF is by default set when selecting Device as
the printer language. The result is that I cannot select the top feed of my
Canon ip4800-series printer. Also, landscape orientation does not work either.

Everything is fine if I select Postscript as the printing language. I would
really love NOT to have to go into the device dialogue every time I print in
anything but portrait mode and from the front bin.

Is there a way to change the default?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 42819] [BASIC] nested UNO structs and UNO object properties of type a uno struct confusing

2012-03-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42819

--- Comment #2 from Noel Power nopo...@novell.com 2012-03-09 06:59:35 PST ---
-Sub TMP0()

your suspicion is correct, UNO structures are value based and even for embedded
structures it seems BASIC treats them the same way

-Sub TMP2()

I strongly believe that it is writer that is playing tricks here and not Basic,
in your working version you do

border = tbl.TableBorder

before modifying border.HorizontalLine, the real difference between your
previous version and this one is that all the other members of border ( e.g.
TopLine,IsTopLineValid,BottomLine,IsBottomLineValid ,LeftLine,IsLeftLineValid
etc. ) so you are sending quite a different structure to the writer table. I
would be 99% sure what you think you are sending in the previous example is
really what is sent but just writer doesn't like it or it doesn't do what you
expect.

-Sub TMP3()

this one sounds like a real bug, looking at where it fails in basic it seems
that the Variable type for TableBorder seems to marked as empty it should be
Object, at a wild guess this is probably because although TableBorder has been
evaluated it actually hasn't already called the associated uno method ( there
is a lazy invoke type thing that basic does ) so it actually doesn't know what
the real type is yet.

Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

Open a file on computer A, save the document in a new folder and then leave it
open. Now grab the directory from computer B (eg via SFTP), disconnect computer
B from the network, and try to edit the document.

Receive error:
-
Document file blah.odp is locked for editing by:

soandso (date)
Open document read-only or open a copy of the document for editing.
-

Im not 100% sure how you could solve this, strategies such as checking for
existing processes won't work, as you don't know if the resource is shared from
B to A. Adding metadata to the lock itself might be useful, such as whether A
locked a file on B, or if A locked a local file.

Adding a manual clear lock would go a long way, however.

Printing serial letters (writer/Base/MySQL) works o.k. as long as I only print
them separately (i.e., I invoke them separately for every database-record).
Hoever, when trying to actually print - say - 50 letters in one batch, only the
first of them gets printed correctly.

Within the following letters database variables inserted by me get left out
consistently. I use ODBC but the same problem also occurs when using the native
MySQLConnedtor under LO-Windows-5.3.0.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47157] New: : Add keywords to libreoffice-*.desktop files

Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Status Whiteboard: BSA
  Severity: normal

ReportedBy: cont...@nicolas-delvaux.org

Originally filled at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/950834

The Desktop Entry Specification now provide a Keywords section.
Extract from the spec[1]:

A list of strings which may be used in addition to other metadata to describe
this entry. This can be useful e.g. to facilitate searching through entries.

This entry is used, for example, by Unity (Ubuntu default desktop) to find apps
that the user search in a semantic way.

Here is my proposal (think as if user search $keyword, he should find $app):
Writer: odt;docx;Text;Letter;CV;
Calc: ods;xls;xlsx;Accounting;Stats;Chart;
Impress: odp;ppt;pptx;Slide;Slideshow;Presentation;
Draw: odg;Vector;Schema;Diagram;
Math: Equation;
Base: Data;

It would also be cool to add words such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc. because
they became kind of common nouns for some people. We may also add Oracle,
MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. to Base.
But I don't know if it is doable because these words are trademarked.

Hello,

I tested this on Microsoft Office 2010 to see how it handles this type of
setup. In Microsoft office it is not allowed to pull it over unevenly divided
cells. I am not sure if it is just a flavor of handling this or it is a bug in
LibreOffice. But I think it is probably a bug as you change the cell layout,
that you probably set up a priori.

(In reply to comment #18)
Tom, the problem you describe is present in 3.5, has been solved and will be in
version 3.6 (August 2012).

There is a workaround :
Define your labels (hor.distance=width=10.5cm, height=40mm, columns=2, rows=7)
and create the document.
Go to Format -Page, tab Page, set the right margin to 0.00cm and then set the
format to A4.
That should do the trick. (if not reduce the width with 0.01 or 0.02cm, whilst
keeping the hor.distance at 10.5cm.

I hope this is of any help to you :)

I remember the last OOo-Version wasn't even installable under all

See https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=116035

We had lengthy discussions on dropping W2K from the list of supported

The last LO that I could test was 3.3RC2 and it did not even start.
(Talked to thb about that, long ago...)
--- cut ---

Well, I think that we added MSVCR90.DLL into LO, so we are not affected by

the 'Property' is defined. In the case of TableBorder it is defined as
PropertyAttribute::MAYBEVOID and because of that the type is set to
variant/empty and then we fail when we try to check the class of border vs
tbl.TableBorder. I will put yet another horrible hack into basic to allow the
'real' type of the property to be accessed

Document causes sporadic crashes on XP too (upon exiting).
The visibility of Application Data directory depends on corresponding Explorer
setting.
'Schablone existiert bereits' is a known problem with user profiles.
Other then that I found no issues with LO on W2K SP4.

Ah, I can see the problem on my Macbook between 3.3.4, 3.4.5 which update
almost immediately, i.e. in the same time as the other elements of the form,
and 3.5.0 which has a significant lag (anything between 1 and 2 seconds) before
the total updates itself.

So testing on a slow machine (my Linux old timer) was apparently not the best
way to show this bug.

Confirming.

I deleted my LibreOffice Profile and all files associated with LO. Maybe it was

otherwise Impress will be useless for all (MacOSX only?) users.

 Note that removing Win2000 from the compatibility-list, whatever that is
 (URL?), wouldn't mean that we would intentionally make it not work on Windows
 2000. We could just ignore bug reports about LO on Windows 2000.

If you ignore bugs, last Win2k users will not have any motivation in filing
them anymore and sooner or later that platform will be broken.

 This button simply means replace the word automatically without user
 intervention, it is not supposed to replace normal search/replace.

Duh. I know, that is why I reported a bug: The user must intervene after step
5!

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. The actual bug (unexpected behavior) occurs
after Step 5
5) ... Continue check at beginning of document.

The words at the beginning of the document to be replaced automatically
without user intervention are not replaced and the notification appears that
The spellcheck is complete. The user must intervene and begin the spell check
again!

If you don't think this is a bug, try this in MS Word 2010 or, better yet, do a
start a Search Replace in Writer in the middle of the text/document. Search
for catt, replace with cat and select Replace all. EVERY instance of catt
is automatically replaced without user intervention!

The spell checker is expected to function just as Search Replace would for
all entries.

BUG!

I too am experiencing this bug. And probably the related long read times of
2003 XML, hang and sometimes crash of XML 2003 spreadsheet.

It never crashes on load of an EXCEL generated spreadsheet. It can save the
Excel generated spreadsheet once. But exit OO or LO and then re-load OO or LO
calc and try to read the oo written file:
a) sometimes, hangs and crashes
b) sometimes, does not. But when does not, can't write the file XML 2003. Get
the long wait then file IO write error, as previously described. Can write the
file as ODT, and other formats.

Seems the 2003 XML file by some seems out-dated or obsolete. Why we need it:
1) it is simple to parse using XML tools. If a very 'flat' low maintenance
spreadsheet format. So the data in the file is accessible easily be simple easy
to write tools.

2) is the only format that meets the crieria a), and is common with MS EXCEL.
3) the new formats, are quite a bit more work to parse, write tools to read the
data in the files.

Is there any progress being made on this issue. It seems to have been a problem
since after OO 2.2, I think I saw a report of these bugs as far back as 2008.
And a long line of disgruntled attempts to use it, and of course the format
will fall in disuse if it dont work. Please, is there a patched filter we can
use?

I didn't reproduce it with 3.5 branch (so not exactly 3.5.0). Could you try to
reproduce this problem with a newer version of LO ? (3.4.5 or 3.5.0)

FYI, there won't be any new version of 3.3.X

With 3.5 branch (so not exactly 3.5.0) on pc Debian x86-64, I didn't reproduce
crash. However, I had exactly what s-joyemusequna had.

We need more info here :
- which environment ?
- could you uninstall LO completely (remove or backup your LO profile if
needed) and reinstall ? If on Windows, after uninstalling, clean your registry
with a free tool like ccleaner.

I don't reproduce this on pc Debian x86-64 with 3.5 branch. I added lots of
lines and nothing special.

I don't think it helps but just to be sure : uninstall LO + clean registry
(with ccleaner for example), then removing/backup LO profile + reinstall may
help

Then, if there's still the crash, follow the memory consumption just to be sure
it's not a memory leak pb.

I don't use KDE but first, remove or backup if needed your LO profile (either
in ~/.config/libreoffice or ~/.libreoffice)

then could you provide these information :
- what's happening if you try to open directly a LO document from interface ?
(so you don't use launch menu)
- if you open console, can you open LO ?

If nothing works, could you try to update to a newer version (3.4.5 or 3.5.0)
and test again ? (uninstall current version + remove/backup LO profile +
install new version).

I don't reproduce this on pc Debian x86-64, branch 3.5 (so not exactly 3.5.0).

First test :
- click on D10
- copy it down until more than row 100
= No crash, just #value (but it's normal).

Second test :
- delete D2 to D10
- click on D1
- copy it down by double clicking on right bottom of the cell (a cross appear)
= No crash

In both case, nothing in console.

Could you launch LO from console and attach warn/error logs if any ?

Could anybody test on MacOS ?

On pc Debian x86-64, with 3.5 branch, I reproduce what is described except the
crash.
On console, I noticed these logs :
warn:legacy.tools:7757:1:/home/julien/compile-libreoffice/libo_3_5/editeng/source/editeng/impedit5.cxx:246:
UndoAction SelectionMarker?
warn:legacy.tools:7757:1:/home/julien/compile-libreoffice/libo_3_5/editeng/source/editeng/editeng.cxx:1807:
MarkInvalid: End out of Range!

The second line is repeated each time I try to apply bullets for original or
copied line.
Here are the lines of the function :
   1803 void EditEngine::QuickMarkInvalid( const ESelection rSel )
   1804 {
   1805 DBG_CHKTHIS( EditEngine, 0 );
   1806 DBG_ASSERT( rSel.nStartPara  pImpEditEngine-GetEditDoc().Count(),
MarkInvalid: Start out of Range! );
   1807 DBG_ASSERT( rSel.nEndPara  pImpEditEngine-GetEditDoc().Count(),
MarkInvalid: End out of Range! );
   1808 for ( sal_uInt16 nPara = rSel.nStartPara; nPara = rSel.nEndPara;
nPara++ )
   1809 {
   1810 ParaPortion* pPortion =
pImpEditEngine-GetParaPortions().SaveGetObject( nPara );
   1811 if ( pPortion )
   1812 pPortion-MarkSelectionInvalid( 0,
pPortion-GetNode()-Len() );
   1813 }
   1814 }

I didn't test on master cause it's recompiling for the moment.

A Mac Os specific bug ? Could anybody test with Windows ?
