[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 57779] LibreLogo 0.2 starts with scripting framework error
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57779 --- Comment #4 from thack...@nexgo.de --- Hello László, *, (In reply to comment #3) Unfortunately, this extension hasn't supported Python 3.3 of LibreOffice 4.0, so the solution is to install the extension in a LibO 3.x or use the inner LibreLogo of LibreOffice 4.0 alpha. (Check View-Toolbars-Logo in Writer). well, as I have written below the error report, I have tested it with my installed 3.6.3 as well, but got the same error message ... :( The language of the Logo commands is the language of the actual document or – without the relevant translation – English. The German translation of the Logo commands is in the libreoffice_installation_path/share/Scripts/python/LibreLogo/Librelogo_de. properties file. It seems, some of the commands has already been translated in the beta 1, eg. the black color constant, so you can draw a black filled circle with 10cm diameter in a German document with the following commands: Were there no strings in the Pootle instance of LO? I seem to remember, that someone reported at the Germanophone ML that we should not translate them ... ;) fillcolor “schwarz” circle 10cm After a complete translation, maybe this command line will be füllfarbe „schwarz“ ring 10cm (or kreis, I don't know which is the better translation for circle here). Indeed, Kreis is more used here ... ;) I have found a Logo user guide with full German localization, see page 92: http://www.alancsmith.co.uk/logo/LogoUserGuide151.pdf Aha, thank you for the link :) You can keep the English commands, too, if you want, in the German translation, eg: FORWARD=vorwärts|vw|forward|fd I will write to the l10n list on Monday, please, send your questions. Well, i am not subscribed to it, but maybe I will find the time the next days to look in its archive ... ;) Thank you for your elaborated answer and have a nice day Thomas. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 57959] Report Designer - repeated Java NullPointerExceptions cause freeze in Base
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57959 --- Comment #19 from Lionel Elie Mamane lio...@mamane.lu --- (In reply to comment #18) As a newbie I am not sure what the latest comment means (We shouldn't set this bug to highest importance and a blocker.) It means it should not keep the release of whole LibreOffice 4.0.0 from happening on Week 6, Feb 4 - Feb 10, 2013 (if it is not fixed by then), which is the fixed date for that release. I'm not sure I agree. Does this mean that 'we should not spend too much time or effort on this', No, not much to do with amount of effort to spend. 'this is not really a bug' No. 'people could get along as is' etc No. It means not big enough of a problem to make the release late and keep users of other modules from having all the goodyness in 4.0.0. You also have to realise that this is the commenter's opinion, not the project's official decision. If this is true, my very humble answer would be : What good is a database that can not produce reports? Absolutely useless. Nolo contendere on *my* side (but again, just my opinion). This bug has never been fixed since at least Ubuntu 12.04 or LO 3.5. It is not known to us that this bug is in LibreOffice 3.5.x, for any value of x, as this bug has been reported against 4.0.0.alpha. Have you reproduced it in LO 3.5.x? Please give detailed reproduction instructions, exact version, etc. On the other hand, if this bug is there since the days of 3.5.x and nobody complained up to now, I cannot justify to the whole project that it should block 4.0.0, since we already have TWO major releases with that bug in it! Consequently Librebase should not be on Ubuntu at all. We have no control over what is or is not in Ubuntu. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

For databases I would only choose this, if the whole data of a database could be deleted) Does this mean that 'we should not spend too much time or effort on this', or 'this is not really a bug' or 'people could get along as is' etc As Lionel explained: It's a bug, when report-designer doesn't work. But it isn't a blocker for the whole LO. You don't have values above 'Importance' highest, blocker. There was, for example, a bug in LO 3.6.0. When I closed a database in a special configuration of Linux-rpm and opened it again all data were lost - tables, queries, forms and reports. How would you call this, when a non-working-reportbuilder is highest and blocker. This bug was reported for 4.0.0.0.alpha1. Seems to be a special bug for Linux with deb-packages. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 57906] BUGZILLAASSISTANT: Submit fails with error message It looks like you didn't come from the right page ...
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57906 --- Comment #7 from Rob Snelders programm...@ertai.nl --- I have found a bug that stopped the BSA from working correctly. So it should work again. But I have noticed that the query-time for getting some information out of Bugzilla takes quite a while longer then it used to. When the submit-button appears then it still takes 2-3 seconds before you can really submit the button otherwise the token is still missing. The Error message that's in the 2nd attachment should also be solved. The problem of the 1st attachment I can't reproduce. The extra parameters in the URL still don't do anything. I have asked the website-list if they can put the parameters through to the iFrame but I haven't have received an answer for that. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57613 --- Comment #2 from Lennard Wasserthal wassert...@nefkom.net --- On Windows, it was version 3.6.3. Works better in 3.5.4.2 (linux, 64 bit)! and master 4.0 with last commit f2cce815d17ecab4a9440d3cae2064db60fa5d2c So this is mainly a windows - or 32 bit bug. the edited cell doesn't get longer in Linux, (so there is no loop) but the subsequent cells are pushed to the far during edit for some reason. that means the following pages dont contain columns, just an empty table. And the empty area is growing with time, so you cant scroll to the end. It happens when you enter the second operand. I thought Maybe thisis because there are two tables in another, but even then I cant reproduce this with a self-made document - yet... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26GHz - 4GB RAM). Start LibO 4.0 click on “Tools/Autocorrect Options” it opens a replacement table with autocorrect entries stored in the “acor” files contained in the “C:\Program Files (x86)\LOdev 4.0\share\autocorr” (i.e. acor_de-DE.dat ; acor_en-GB.dat ; acor_it-IT.dat etc. etc.) each .dat file contains a default set of autocorrect entries for each language that come with LibO at first start. if you add a new custom entry in one of those autocorrect lists, let's say “German (Germany)” , a new acor-de-DE.dat file is created in the user profile under: C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\LOdev\4\user\autocorr the new .dat file will contain the default entries previously stored in “share\autocorr” and the new custom entry. Now open again the replacement table from “Tools/Autocorrect Options” and scroll to the top to the “[All]” list and add a new autocorrect entry. LibO 4 will create an “acor_en-US.dat” in the user profile the expected behavior would be the creation of an “acor_.dat” file, like it happens is LibO 3.6.4 and previous releases. now open again the replacement table and select the “English (USA)” list... you will see that it contains the same entries of the “[All]” list... basically the [All] list is saved as an English (USA) list. This is going to mess up autocorrect function and IMHO should be considered as a LibO 4 MAB. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 58029] EDITING: Selecting words in very large documents needs too much time
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58029 --- Comment #7 from David genericinet+libreoffice@gmail.com --- Well it's critical enough for me that I've been unable to upgrade ever since 3.5.0 (although with 3.6.3 3.6.4 there has been improvement). I'm becoming more and more convinced that it has something to do with the new way the headers footers are handled or the way pages are handled because of the new header footer routines since that is one thing which had a major change in 3.5.0 and in testing there seems to be some corralation. I have several large documents which have MANY character paragraph style changes throughout the document and also uses a couple of different page styles. These files work perfectly in 3.4.6 and prior. Performance is quick and I notice no lag time at all. The documents I have (other than the sample document) that exhibit this problem run about 3000 pages. The test document always has a long delay when selecting text. But some files I have only have the lag after I click in the header and then click somewhere else in the document. After I wrote that other message I found that I didn't actually need to select text but that just clicking in the header would cause the delays to begin and I would need to close the document and re-open it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
