It seems that OpenKM doesn't implement the part of the WebDAV standard LO uses
on new created documents, namely this:

though I need to look into the matter more closely to confirm it.

The lock on the new created document should be created when you save it the
first time after a edit, that is do a small edit to it, then save: the lock
should be in place.

Can you do this check on your installation:
- save a new document: not locked
- do a small edit on the document and save: the lock is in place
- when you close the document the lock should be released.

Hi guys!

This bug still exists in LO in further releases. Even in 4.4.6.3

It is strongly necessary to kill or something like that.

Fullscreen is there. It doesn't work great, but it's there. Thus I suggest to
kill this monster bug.

Any remaining issues (and there are a few) should be dealt with in separate
bugs (following the "one problem per bug" rule).

The white top line bug is 10.8 specific. It's gone on 10.11 btw. So anybody
effected should consider doing the free update to 10.11, which is recommended
anyways since it has a ton of important security fixes.

I have no toolbars when sitching to fullscreen. So there might be another bug
now in fullscreen. As is, this bug here is no longer reproducible due to
missing toolbars. Anybody up for more input? Should we file another bug?

Looks like every SvxCustomShape is holding a SvxShapeText by being derived by
it. This holds the on-demand created EditEngine (and the VirtualDevice as
RefDevice), too. All EditEngines get created at load time due to the text
import and stay at the SvxCustomShape incarnation.
Checked that this is correct ans these are freed at document close.
Investigating to find a mechanism how to not hold that EditEngine for all
objects after load time.

Additionally, and at present, a fix has been suggested to avoid the requirement
for Java6 in master 5.1, however, it comes with its own problems, see bug
94716.

Versions 5.0.x and lower still require Java6 for OSX, plus any additional
Oracle JDK that a user might install. Again, this is already known.

These are known issues. Setting as DUP of 94716.

Thank you for testing.
I upgraded Libreoffice to 5.0.3 and tested it again.
And the problem persists with the new version of Libreoffice.
And I just saw that this report is makred as duplicate of an one year old bug.
I hope that it will be fixed soon.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 95735] os 10.7 lion incorrect reject changes

2015-11-13 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95735

--- Comment #2 from Alex Thurgood  ---
@Haim : unfortunately, without a test document, we can not confirm the bug
report.

You state that the document was produced on OSX 10.7.5, then used in a MSWord
environment, however, you do not mention whether this is MSWord on Mac, and
which version that might be (2008 ? 2011 ?) or whether the document is opened
in a Windows MSWord environment.

You also do not say whether the document was initially created as an ODT, then
exported to a MSWord format, or whether the MSWord environment you mention is
attempting to import an ODT document (in which case, it is a Windows only
setup, as Office for Mac doesn't support ODF).

There is further the problem, that you are using an OS version which is no
longer officially supported - 4.3.7 release is the final version for OSX
10.6-10.7, so any bugs (new or old) will almost certainly not get fixed.

I fear that this report will be closed as invalid.

No issue with x86 Vista and onward, it is just x86 XP sp3. Sorry for the noise
on that.

Narrowed span to 3 weeks between 5.0.0.2 and 5.0.0.3rc builds.

WinDbg runs of the Update Check 5.0.0.3 onward suggest issue is in updchklo.dll
 and libcurl.dll. cURL had been updated that time frame--but not clear why the
GUI menu entry just on XP, would be affected.

The document was initially created in Writer but immediately saved as "docx".
After that, many changes were made to the document using Writer but always
saved as "docx", and finally the document was delivered to the MSWord
environment.

I do not know whether the MSWord environment was on a Mac but suspect that it
was on Windows.

I would also like to reiterate that the problem does not appear in OS 10.6.8!
It means that in a 10.6.8 environment "reject changes" works correctly for this
document.

OK, sorry for the noise. Please scratch what I said about working on XP with a
Modify install... /me brain fart, and was really back into a Win7 32bit VM at
that point.

There *is* a definite issue between 5.0.0.2 and 5.0.0.3 builds, 2015-06-28 ->
2015-07-12.

Got WinDbg set up on XP sp3, unfortunately LO does not crash for this, so can't
pull a stack trace (still set up anyone want something specific?).

However WinDbg *consistently* catches the following exception--C139 [entry
point not found]--with the 5.0.0.3 build onward:

ModLoad: 0c2d 0c326000   C:\Program Files\LibreOffice
5\program\updchklo.dll
ModLoad: 771b 7725a000   C:\WINDOWS\system32\WININET.dll

ModLoad: 76f6 76f8c000   C:\WINDOWS\system32\WLDAP32.dll
ModLoad: 4d4f 4d549000   C:\WINDOWS\system32\WINHTTP.dll
(1dc.814): Unknown exception - code c139 (first chance)
(1dc.814): C++ EH exception - code e06d7363 (first chance)

Dependency walker shows noting really telling for our deployed libcurl.dll
(just MSJAVA.DLL and MPR.DLL errors that supposedly can be ignored).

=-=-=

We updated cURL to 7.43 between 5.0.0.2 and 5.0.0.3 with
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/16726/

Believe this note from the 7.44 cURL build is germane (and may suggest a work
around).
https://fossies.org/diffs/curl/7.43.0_vs_7.44.0/winbuild/BUILD.WINDOWS.txt-diff.html

Also, mot clear why it would, but suspect this is also affecting the update
menu item missing from GUI issue of bug 95184, which also appears between
5.0.0.2 and 5.0.0.3 It also affect just Windows XP sp3 installs.

Finally, neither issue affects 32-bit Vista onward installs--"final answer" =)

Thank you for the extensive testing! It was really puzzling me that it worked
for you under Windows XP!

So now it's up to TDF to decide. Either fix the regression or discontinue
support for Windows XP.

The mentioned shapes are anchored to the top of the page, and in web view, you
have a single page, that's how they are moved to the top. The reason it started
to behave this way at the above commit is that previously we didn't import the
anchor settings correctly. So technically this is not a regression, just a Word
vs. Writer difference that became visible, now that an import filter
correctness problem is fixed.

Making the Writer web layout behave like the Word one wrt. page text are
anchoring is far from trivial... feel free to open a non-regression bug for it,
if you want.

However, there is something easy to improve in the bugdoc: the second page has
an as-char anchored image that is on the first page in Word, I'll take care of
that.

I can't agree,
  it is not that old data format
  it is not Mac
  It is ONLY with Fontwork Obects starting with LO 5
Therefor it is not a duplicate

The font SquareSlab711 is commercial Bitstream, so no
free downloads are allowed (outside BR).
But as it involves only Fontwork, i will go home with 'works for me'.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 95653] FILESAVE: Version control shows inappropriate message box with CMIS

2015-11-13 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95653

--- Comment #4 from Szymon Kłos  ---
"getAllVersions" is supported by the cmis content:
http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/ucb/source/ucp/cmis/cmis_content.cxx#1844

If we open a spreadsheet file from the cmis repository, it works.
It seems that this button ("CMIS") should be hidden for local files.
Am I right?

You must be right, of course. My previous response was only because I am not
all that familiar with this.

This is the error when I try to enter the snippet as a *.reg file:

Cannot import C:*\snippet.reg. The specified file is not a registry script.
You can only import binary files from within the registry editor.

[note: I did save the snippet as a txt file. *is only used as shorthand]

Before that same previous response I did try to enter the data manually. There
was no "thread" (don't know what else to call it) after
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\ . I did not want to add anything else
to that myself.

Created attachment 120528

sample 4 interrupted forrmula sequence

I'm working in an enterprise with about 600 users. Calc is heavily used with
row or column based formulas like:

 A
1=a1*1,19
2=a2*1,19
3=a3*1,19
4=a4*1,19
5=a5*1,19
...
1024 =a1024*1,19
1025 =a1025*1,19
... and so on

I often see formula mistakes by users, who accidently interrupt those formula
sequences:
 A
1=a1*1,19
2=a2*1,19
3=a3*1,19
4=a3*1,19 ooops, a3 reference comes accidently twice!
5=a4*1,19
...
1024 =a1023*1,19
1025 =a1024*1,19
... and so on

Currently, there is no warning, tool tip or highligting for formula sequence
interruptions. A warning - eg. by a little danger sign with tool tip help next
to the affected cell - would be a nice to have feature for future releases.

It would be really nice if there was a straightforward way to have
2 parts of the *same* line of text respectively left- and right- aligned.

For example, consider a document with lines such as:

---
This is the main text, in black #this is a comment in grey
---

It would be nice to able to just use the align-left and align-right (or Ctrl-L
and Ctrl-R) functions to do this.

This is something it would be really useful to do, and it is extremely widely
searched for: I found hundreds of people asking the question, e.g.
http://superuser.com/questions/757575/multiple-text-alignments-on-one-line-in-libre-office
https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7=49577

Yes, I know there is a way to do this in a kludgy manner using tab-stops, but
it should have a nice simple GUI method. At the moment, most "normal" users
resort to padding everything with manual spaces, which is ugly inelegant and
unreliable.

One way to "overload" Ctrl-L , Ctrl-R to do different things could be:

* If the whole line is selected:
* or no part of the line is selected (just the cursor placed there)
* or the selection is in the middle of the line.
* or the selection goes over multiple lines in a paragraph.
=> apply the alignment to the entire line.

* If just part of the line, up to the right[left]-most character is selected
=> apply the alignment to the right [left] part of the line only.

OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

 Component: Writer

  Reporter: alfinete...@hotmail.com

In a nutshell:
==
When working in a non-default language (i.e. Portuguese (Brazil)), clicking the
Style "Heading 1" changes the language of the paragraph back to the default
(i.e. English (New Zealand)).

L.O. Language setup:

System Language is English (New Zeland) This is the Writer default too.
Brazilian Portuguese Spell Corrector installed is Vero Pt_Br 2.08
(vero_pt_br_v208aoc.oxt)

Text setup:
===
Text is written in Brazilian Portuguese (configured as Text Body). Character
Text Language has been previously set to Brazilian Portuguese in Character
dialog box. This is shown correctly in the status bar as "Portuguese (Brazil)"
in the status bar.

See the bug in action:
==
1) Write some text in Brazilian Portuguese. Status bar says Portuguese
(Brazil)
2) Click into the middle of the previously typed text.
3) In the styles menu, choose "Heading 1".
4) Paragraph language reverts to English (New Zealand).
5)  Then ... try the following ...
5a) Either ... Undo toolbar button reverts the text to "Text Body" and
"Portuguese (Brazil)".
5b) Or ... Clicking "Text Body" in styles menu keeps the language as
English (New Zealand).

Having arrived at step 4 or 5b means that the paragraph has to be reconfigured
manually to "Portuguese (Brazil)". This is seriously annoying.

To me this is a bug.
The language should not change when clicking on Heading 1 from the styles menu.

Since upgrading to Libre Office 5.0.3.2 a few days ago (Version: 5.0.3.2
Build ID: e5f16313668ac592c1bfb310f4390624e3dbfb75) I am experiencing a new
problem. It does not happen every time, but it happens frequently.

When I am working on one or more documents, then save them and close, if it is
the last document to close and I exit Writer, Writer then crashes. It comes up
with a report "the following documents will be saved for recovery" and it gives
a null list -- since no documents were open at the time.

Nevertheless, I must click to accept, click to initiate recovery (of no
documents) and click to Finish the recovery (after zero documents are
recovered). This is a nuisance since by definition I was trying to close
Writer and go on to other things.

I haven't been specific yet but I would estimate it happens about 75% of the
time. Closing Writer when closing the last open document causes a crash.

I am having the same problem as of 5.0.3.2. I just upgraded to Version:
5.0.3.2
Build ID: e5f16313668ac592c1bfb310f4390624e3dbfb75 and now every time I open a

"Autofit."  The image is distorted.

I can clear the "Autofit" check mark and the image returns to normal, but every
time I save the document and re-open it, "Autofit" is selected again.

This is a problem because I watermark a number of documents, e.g., as "Draft",
by using a bitmap image.

I'm using LibreOffice on both Linux (Fedora) and Windows (8) and have the
problem with both copies.

Sample stable formula and conditional format verification

Hi Heiko,

I think you can solve the issue avoiding the wrong formula.

I don't know what version you are using, from LibreOffice 5 there is the option
to use entire column references
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/5.0/es#A:A_.2F_1:1_entire_column.2Frow_references

A formula like:
=INDEX(A:A;ROW();0)*1,19 or =INDEX($A:$A;ROW();0)*1,19
always produce the right result, use the absolute reference as you need.

With previous versions define the rows numbers:
=INDEX(A$1:A$1000;ROW();0)*1,19 or =INDEX($A$1:$A$5000;ROW();0)*1,19

It can be done similar with OFFSET() or INDIRECT(), but they are volatile
functions, more expensive on calculation time, specially if they are a lot of
them.

Also you can define a Named formula with it so you can use directly their name.

Find attached a sample file.

This can be done also with Labels but actually there is a problem with their
calculation after copy, so better avoid it.

Another way to mark it could be with a conditional format

It has two images. One with OpenGL, other with Hardware rendering. Arrows are
missing.

Hi Team,

First of all, thanks for the hard work.

When I use OpenGL for rendering, some icons disappear. I did no do an extensive
check of all the problems. But I can do it if you want me to. I will attach
screenshots.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 95742] PRINTING multiple tables in Calc

2015-11-13 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95742

--- Comment #2 from libreoff...@mail.christosoft.de ---
This works but:

- I find it very unintuitive
- The "help" button on the print dialog leads to a wiki page that does not
explain how to select multiple tables:
https://help.libreoffice.org/5.0/Common/Print
If it is unintuitive and there is a help button, it should at least explain it.
Instead, the wiki only explains stuff that is more than obvious.
- the light grey color that shows a table is selected is hardly visible on my
laptop screen

OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor

 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: katarina.behr...@cib.de

Calc > Sheet > Insert sheet from file ...

Expected: file picker dialog appears right away

Actual: insert sheet dialog itself appears for a second (or longer, depending
on how fast your machine is) and only then, the file picker pops up.

Not a big deal, just slightly unpolished user experience. Note to self:
potential easy hack candidate
