[Libreoffice-qa] Master builds

2015-08-28 Thread m.a.riosv
Hi,
someone know what is happening with master builds:

last for /daily/master/Win-x86_64@62-TDF 2015-08-23_00.19.44,
last for /daily/master/Win-x86@62-merge-TDF 2015-08-22_23.42.26,
other win folders are empty and no builds with symbols.

For Linux last for /daily/master/Linux-rpm_deb-x86@71-TDF
2015-08-26_00.58.14/
only for Mac last is from 2015-08-28_00.05.02

Regards.
Miguel Ángel.

 Is this a compiler error?

As I said, it is not easy to update all tinderboxes because they have
different maintainers. Most likely, the MSVC tinderbox has not been
updated yet.

Anyway, if a tinder box uploads dailies in the new location, it should
have the info in about dialog. If it does not show the info, it is a
bug. Please let me know about such cases.

Ah, this is not precise because I copied old dailies from the old tree

Cool. I am happy that you like it.

I have a patch for tinderbox but I still need to test it. It was somehow

I'm sure the marketing and design guys won't be upset since this is for QA

Yup, it will be only in the daily builds.

In fact as I suggested earlier I think the BuildID could be completely
removed from the About box of public stable releases since there is no
possible confusion between versions (and it is ugly :) ).

Yup, it would make sense. I think about to disable it with the

So, yes, most was an exaggeration. But the idea is that if all Tinderboxes

In any case I think that Rainer's suggestion is perfect.

I would even risk that the BuildID string could be removed from the About

This would make the About box less geeky and still provide easy access to

You want to know the host it was built on ? sounds like a reasonable
request to me - though it's somewhat unclear how that should be
configured / propagated from machine to machine.

If the Tinderbox naming followed your own rules

that wouldn't be a problem...
