In any case you should be able to reply to the mailing list. I want to put a cover made in pdf file.
I put \usepackage{pdfpages} in preamble
and Insert the file but I get
Undefined control sequence
error.
Use the external inset. Insert File External
Material and select pdfpages.

Yes, I was using it of that form.
I already discovered the cause of the problem.
As \addtoreset... does not work in my document I had to put ERT with
\setcounter... at the end of each section.
Negligently I put them at the end of each section or at the end of the title of
each new section.
All these last ones produced the error when trying to use the pdfpages.
