Re: 1Password on Mac

2022-03-25 Thread Brett Lewis
Hi,
I have to use 1password for work and I have found that on the Mac,
1password in Chrome is much more consistent.
I tend to use command+\ to invoke it.
Safari is generally just a frustrating experience, when it works with the
arrow keys it is great but it doesn't often work.
Sending them an email is a great idea.

Re: 1Password for Mac

2017-02-17 Thread michael babcock
I use 1 password family, so for me it’s having the ability to quickly share
login information with my wife and the kids. Also the fact it is cross
browser/platform, so when I’m in chrome for OS X or chrome on Win 10 I don’t
have to worry about remember passwords. Also of course it’s nice to have
passwords on anything I pick up that’s connected to the internet… Also one
example is when clients need to share information with me with there passwords…
And I don’t think apple needs all my passwords anyways, they already have
enough of my information. Last feature, generating passwords…

Re: 1Password for Mac

2017-02-17 Thread Scott Granados

What are your thoughts?

Re: 1Password for Mac

2016-05-07 Thread Sabahattin Gucukoglu
No, it isn’t fixed, but for all that, I’m still using it. It’s annoying that
you have to paste your secrets in from the clipboard, but it can be done and
does work, and really, 1Password is most useful from iOS anyway. Just don’t
generate any passwords and you’ll be all right.

Re: 1Password for Mac

2012-08-27 Thread Paul Erkens
Hey Rod,

I now have the 1password app on the iphone as well, and since I got my last
hint from I think it was Emilio on this list, it now works for me. On the
iphone, you'll first see a list: logins, wallet items, generated passwords,
identities, etc. Once you double tap logins, the list appears, alphabetically.
To get logged in, first double tap the site in your list. Then, an info window
appears. Flick to the url for the site, and then double tap that one. Then it
goes.
Paul.

Re: 1Password for Mac

2012-08-26 Thread ROD SKENE
Thanks Paul,
The email threads have been very helpful, and I have learned a lot from them.
I just installed 1Password today and want to give it a decent effort before
asking too many questions.
I was happy to get the Safari plug in installed. I was also able to get my
first login credentials into 1Password. It worked great on the Mac.
My biggest concern is being able to access my banking apps, audible, etc. on my
iPhone after upgrading to more secure passwords with 1Password.
Time will tell if I can get it all to work for me on the Mac and iPhone too.

1password is a program that will save passwords, create passwords, auto log in
with your user name and password, save and auto fill credit card info, provides
a safe place to write and keep notes, auto fills personal information to forms,
and more. Here is a link to their site for more complete information.

2011-01-04 Thread Scott Howell
THanks Brett for providing that great and concise description. I had this app
on my iPhone for about a year and I had gotten it during a time when it was
free. I never really did much with it, but then I started reading about it. I
finally realized that this is such an amazingly useful application, I went out
and purchased the Mac version and even got my wife setup on the iPhone and Mac
as well. Definitely well worth the investment.

Hey that's great. I'd gotten this app before, and not really made any use

until accessibility improved. And from your email here Bret, it looks like it
finally has. Will definitely be giving it another shot .

Re: 1password for Mac is now even more accessible

2011-01-03 Thread Yuma Decaux
Hi List,

Just thought i might add this in.

Had a conversation with the great folks at agile web solutions and asked them
if they could get me the code snippet to get the lists accessible. They have
been kind enough to send the request to the developer who took care of
accessibility on 1password and will try to get back to me.

I was thinking of pasting this code, or the how-to to other devleopers who's
application currently doesn't have this item visible.

They are amazing.

Best regards,
