They probably don't. I'd also hazard a guess that 100% of the unwanted email Jarland is receiving at the moment is coming from entities generally unrelated to the matter who are being used as hapless conduits for the abuse by whoever goes around forge-subscribing these addresses. I am not particularly interested in defending the practice of using single opt-in for mailing list subscription. I am simply stating that this is likely to be the case and that your assumption that the T of ESPs would generally require COI is unrealistically optimistic. -- Atro Tossavainen, Founder, Partner Koli-Lõks OÜ (reg. no. 12815457, VAT ID EE101811635) Tallinn, Estonia tel. +372-5883-4269, http://www.koliloks.eu/ ___ mailop mailing list mailop@mailop.org https://list.mailop.org/listinfo/mailop

I was maliciously attacked, my inboxes registered for an ungodly amount of mailing lists that did not use any kind of double opt in standards. These mailing lists are all supported by the companies mentioned. I am done with single reports and mostly being ignored. I need representatives from these companies to push a message up the chain: Find EVERY mailing list with these two emails in them and REMOVE them. Thank you, and apologies for the time wasted by anyone else who took a moment to read this. If the companies mentioned read as far as this, here's a very serious suggestion: Don't just remove the addresses from customers' lists, but remove the customers, as they are obviously using addresses without consent, which would be against your AUP (you do have an AUP that requires confirmed opt-in, do you?). Make notes to ensure that you don't accept them as customers in the future. If your customer accounts were hacked, you can probably share the guilt with them. Your procedures regarding transmission of recipient lists should require sufficient authentication, preferably using some 2FA mechanism. This isn't rocket science! Hi, As per the ticket you've submitted less than an hour ago to our ab...@sendinblue.com, I've blocked that 2 addresses from our entire infra, you'll not be contacted anymore from any of our clients.
