Nice! Here are my comments:

Maybe in p.1 panel 1 "Operating System Distributions - User
Supported->To name but a few" we could add something like "Check your
distribution packager for native availability of LibreOffice" or
something like this. Or some statement that LibreOffice may be already
available through user's distro packager.

BTW ... I would probably move p.1 panel 2 to p.2 panel 2. Reason: p.2
panel 1 lists the modules, so, it would seem to make sense to then have
the modules' description on the very next panel.

p.1 panel 1 ... bottom. Is there anyway to fade the motif a little more?
I find reading the text a little difficult to read.

p.1 panel 1 ... the titles are off-set on the left-hand from the regular
text but not the same on all of the pamphlet. I prefer the left-flush
look rather than off-setting the titles. I think it looks more
professional. Just my take.

BTW ... I am not sure if I like the dark black outline around the
letters in the titles. It looks like a try at 3-D but the effect is not
working. I like the look of a softer line such as the LibreOffice tm on
p.1 panel 3.

p. 2 panel 2 ... small correction: "LibreOffice is thez" <-- remove the
"z". Also the Libre in "LibreOffice" is larger than "office"

p. 2 panel 2 ... I like the "LibreOffice uses a time based release
schedule" ... maybe shorten up the title to "LibreOffice Time Based
Release Schedule". I would also steer away from mentioning OOo. There is
no need to do this anymore. OOo is no longer a consideration and most
people will have had no idea that OOo was not on a time base release
schedule. Better, if we could provide a windows software example being
developed on a "time based release schedule" (I don't know if Firefox or
Chrome fit this ... I think Firefox does) -- KDE and Gnome really don't
mean anything to our Windows users which are the majority of our users.

Thanks for doing this.

Cheers

Marc

I have it pointing to the website do I have to change the DNS? If so,
could you send me the DNS servers and would you also like to have the
.net, .org and .ca as well?

We take what we can get. :-) For .ca I don't know if we can transfer it
later on to TDF, as IMHO a local residential address is required, but
let's see in 60 days.

Which domains do you have exactly? libocon.com/net/org/ca? Anything else
I need to add to the DNS?

Florian

I have all 4 that you listed. Should I input the DNS? I can't seem to
find my notes of DNS's from the last time I pointed a site to TDF.

Re: local residential address. Feel free to use my address if you wish
for any .ca domains. I have a few online businesses it could be listed
under, my main one is parEntreprise.com

That sounds reasonable. Local markets are worth to explore.

Hm, I do *not* think that the same-time translation of the original announcement
is needed in general, because it means an extra step required for delivering
security fix.
But sooner translation can be desirable if, e.g., the message contains
description of procedures which users have to perform to avoid the
vulnerability,
instead of the software upgrade.
(Anyway this may be rather off-topic in this list.)

Hi Marwan,

Thanks - looks like a similar jpg file to what was posted to the
LibreOffice AR facebook account the other day:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/LibreOffice-%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A8%D8%B1-%D8%

However the download 4shared service at least retained the meta-data,
more then the facebook service did..so looks like a Photo-shop file,
huh?

>

The only thing you need to do is register, then once you log in the left
hand menu on the wiki has the option "upload file"..you could either
upload the photoshop file, or export a jpg (or PDF or PNG) formatted for
printing - 900px is nice for web, not so good for printing IMO. The wiki
is set to accept files up to 30 Megs..so no "real" limiting factor in
that regard.

We could use a copy of the jpg file on the wiki for display and a link
to the PS file, perhaps?

Thanks again,
