As the spousal unit was watching her evening dose of CNN (I don't watch this 
garbage, or much TV at all, as it's a vast wasteland IMHO) I remarked that 
whenever I saw the Donald in the media it made me wonder about what's going on 
in those smoke filled rooms filled with white haired old Republicans. Those 
guys have got to be having conniption fits.

I wanted a walker/cruz ticket.

Carley said something stupid yesterday.  I can't remember what it 
was, but it was the first time i've heard her say anything stupid.


the pitacky, Chrissy, whazzat ohio guy, Gramnesty, jeb, Mario, 
(whoever else is left), lap dog/amnesty/open border crowd don't have 
a chance.


Butcha gotta love how Trump has the ability to make the media lap 
dogs work for him while they try to destroy him!  THAT is remarkable. 
President Reagan was famous for being able to "talk over the media" 
to reach the people.  It was remarkable.  I had mixed feelings about 
Reagan, but time has proven that he was a visionary.  Even President 
Reagan was never able to make the media lap dogs work for him.

Take the whole fuse box out, then you can get to the plug underneath.  
Don't remember how many screws and where, but the box comes out. 
Had to do this to get to the wires on the fuses when I put in a 
jumper wire.

How do you take the whole fuse box out to get to the relays?  I don't 
see any screws or clips.  I've had the fusebox out to get to the 
wiring underneath.  It is still out.  I don't see any way to release 
the relay holder part, or the whole thing from the inner 
fender/firewall.


On the Texas 300D, 124,  I need to change the bubout relay.  On the 
POSitive, I need to change the window relay.  Same problem with both 
cars.  I cant get the back ice cube relay out with the needlenose 
pliers, no way to get fingers back there.  The long bent needlenose 
have the bent part too loong to pull the ice cube relay.

I will have to dig around and find the appropriate wiring diagram. 
I believe there is a door switch relay that lets you run the windows 
with the driver's door open, might want to check to see if that 
switch is shorted.

There is a big red/yellow wire near fuses G and H that is supposed to 
power the windows and other things.   It has no volts, switch on or 
off.   I wish I'd brought along my Bosch wiring book.  To my 
recollection red is unswitched Bat+, Red/white is switched Bat+.   I 
think red/Yellow is another form of switched Bat+


Can anyone confirm what Red/Yellow means?  Since it is supposed to 
run from the x4/1 terminal block to the fuse block body,  and  all 
the other wires at X4/1 or X4 are red only, maybe it is unswitched 
also.


I think I will get a piece of 10 Ga or 8 ga MW wire and run it from 
X4/1 to the fuse block.  That SHOULD get the windows working (or 
cause a big fire)!

Mao's accusation may or may not be true, but we know the political 
establishment is bent on destroying the USA.  (not JUST the middle 
class)  One party on the fast (insane) track, the other on the slower 
(less than insane) track.  I think trump is enjoying this too much to 
turn coat.  He has to laugh for days in private every time he goes 
out and says something that  sends the media into a tizzy.


On the other hand, Trump has a long record of being bold and 
successful.  That is something no candidate has had since TR.  Ike 
was successful, but I would not classify him as bold.  I'd say Ike 
was successful and studious, and know who to kiss up to and when to 
kiss.  It is trumps boldness, history of success and success in 
making both the media and the power/money establishment look foolish 
that the masses of people love!

It occurs to me that we now have a horrible system for auditioning
presidential candidates.  The name of the job is chief executive (e.g.,
execute laws made by Congress) and CINC, not chief cheerleader or chief
speech-maker or dictator.  The media (of course) make it all even worse by
trying to turn everything into a soap opera or "reality" show.  I find it
hard to assess qualities I consider important (character, judgement,
integrity, ability, experience) from the crap we get constantly via the
media.   This is, of course, in addition the media's efforts to influence
the outcome by filtering and skewing their coverage.

Yet he raises issues that need attention from the voters. And nothing that
he proposes violates the constitution the way POTUS' actions do.

We have in the past cancelled visas retroactively for citizens of certain
countries: Iran and certain Saudi student visas. The screening most visa
applicants go through now is woefully inadequate.

POTUS pontificates about "That's not who we are..." but the core of who we
are as a nation is the constitution and the separation of powers that keeps
us in balance, not sanctimonious virtue-signalling.

And yes, we live in scary times.

The Okielist software sometimes mangles and tosses the pictures out. It seems 
to be completely arbitrary in this respect, and since I don't get to see behind 
the curtain, I have no idea why it does this.

For what it's worth, I believe the message size limit is 40k. If you can keep 
it below that with a small image, it should go without approval.

I just keep thinking about the old guard Republicans, one of which 
was my Dad, who are flipping their sh*t right now over Trump. He has 
totally taken over the party, and it's clear he's not going away or 
heading in a direction that's even remotely acceptable to the old 
guard.

And as much as that irritates the establishment R, It has the D (all 
100% establishment) running like the night before a colonoscopy! 
They can't figger out if they need to sit on the toilet or face it. 
Either way, they are sick and unlikely to make the right choice!  The 
results are messy!


Whoever the next Pres is, I hope they put in someone like Cruz as AG, 
and the new AG brings up pillary on multiple charges, including 
treason, and gets convictions, then goes on down the list.  Should be 
some more ppl whose name starts with C prosecuted also.  There should 
be a lot of high profile trials.

[MBZ] 124 Windows WAS: 124 heater blower and windows, ign switch

I think I have located the problem with the windows.  I pulled apart 
the console cover and the window switch assembly tonight.  up by 
where the ground is, the insulation on the brown wires is melted into 
a blob.  on the right side, there was one length of bare wire hanging 
out, maybe 20-24 ga  (.75 DIN) and more melted insulation.  So 
tomorrow, I will pull out the console, get some wire and have at it. 
Hopefully,after that is done, the winders will work.


There was no rubber ot fabrig left on the flex disk bolts. 
Apparently the flex disk got hot enough to catch fire and burn off 
the rubber, and the trans mount looked like it had burned too.  I've 
never heard of either before.  It looks like the heat melted 
insulation on wires in the console area.  Not sure what else is 
ruined.  The rear lights appear to work.  I suppose the rear speaker 
wires may be melted, or all speaker wires could be melted together as 
they all go to the fader.  Will have to check those also when in 
there.


I'm thinking an old parallel printer cable might have the right size 
stranded wire.  Wish I had one!


Once the windows work, i'll pronounce it roadworthy, and attack the 
speedo and tach.  I have not yet pulled the cluster.


Dis T'ing is takin WAY too much time!   But it will be on the road agi'n.

I believe there is a door switch relay that lets you run the windows 
with the driver's door open, might want to check to see if that 
switch is shorted.

There is a big red/yellow wire near fuses G and H that is supposed to 
power the windows and other things.   It has no volts, switch on or 
off.   I wish I'd brought along my Bosch wiring book.  To my 
recollection red is unswitched Bat+, Red/white is switched Bat+.   I 
think red/Yellow is another form of switched Bat+


Can anyone confirm what Red/Yellow means?   Since it is supposed to 
run from the x4/1 terminal block to the fuse block body,  and  all 
the other wires at X4/1 or X4 are red only, maybe it is unswitched 
also.


Answer:  Red/yellow is Bat+ , unswitched, but after a relay.  Red 
goes from the X4/1 terminal to the window relay.  From the window 
relay, the red/yellow goes to Fuses G and H.


I think I will get a piece of 10 Ga or 8 ga MW wire and run it from 
X4/1 to the fuse block.  That SHOULD get the windows working (or 
cause a big fire)!

There is a lot about Trump that frightens me, both as a businessman and an 
individual.  Hopefully there's more rhetoric than real action there.

That being said, we need a non-politico in the White House to bitch slap the 
Congress and others into shape.  It's extreme, and I certainly don't agree with 
him on a lot of issues, but I can't fault him for the approach he's using.

I just keep thinking about the old guard Republicans, one of which was my Dad,

 Unfortunately, I've noticed that a lot of the "old guard Republicans" are 
no more than RINOs.  It seems that after JC got his rear kicked by Reagan, a 
lot of Democrats saw the demographic writing on the wall and switched parties 
or at least voting patterns.  I've seen it a lot here in Georgia.  In my view, 
Boehner, Ryan, McConnell, Romney, and others are really RINOs.  Yes, some 
Republicans these days are too far off the deep end with their "values pitch".  
But I'm sure some of you, as do I, remember both moderate Democrats and 
Republicans.  They could agree to disagree and move forward without the level 
of spite and revenge seen in today's politics.  I "hope" that some day our 
politicians can return to some level of working together.

Never needed relays other than Klima.  Never saw them advertise when 
I needed a klima, but the last one i bought was probably 2007.  Since 
i've kept one I found in a junkyard as a spare, they don't seem to 
fail anymore!


Correction:  fleabay has bubout relays.  I was searching as Lamp out 
relay, but on fleabay they list them as headlight relay.  Or if you 
search on the 126 542 0132 number they come up.


Maybe you have been living in a cave.  They have been around for 
years and years. I thought they were pretty well know by all except 
those in Iowa I guess.  Anyway I have bought Cruise control amps and 
such from them several times.

The house squirrel I got with my good old 10 pump .177 Crossman. It's a bit 
under powered at any distance but adequate for that job. I've also got a 
Chinese B3 rifle that is as cheaply made a thing as you could get. Dad bought 
it in an auction for $16 and probably overpaid. The stock was made from a 
pallet... I need to chronograph it, they claim 800fps but online says 400 is 
more likely. Apparently some cleanup and polish will get it to more like 600. 
At the very least I need to shim the sights, it shoots low even when cranked 
all the way up.


At some point I want to buy a good 1000fps pellet gun for longer range squirrel 
popping...

The DC power establishment and the national power structure and the 
world wide power structure  don't get it.  Yes, R and D (they are 
both on the same side)


They send their lapdog media out to denounce Trump.  They send out 
their mouthpieces to denounce Trump.  They tell us Trump is crazy.  I 
even heard one mouthpiece this morning say that Trump is "very low 
intelligence."


In reality, it was the mouthpiece who is low intelligence.  Trump IS 
crazy; Like a fox!   Trump is playing the media like a fiddle to get 
more free coverage than all the other D and R candidates put 
together, including their paid ads.


The media and power structure makes candidates and breaks them.  The 
candidates are owned by the power structure, except Trump.  Trump 
isn't taking their money.  They can't buy Trump; He is using his own 
$$.   But he is so smart, he does not need to buy media 
coverage.


Most of the media fools don't have a clue.  Every time they try to 
tell us Trump has really done it this time, Trump gains MORE support! 
Today they announced that Trump's support went up 8% in SC since he 
suggested limiting immigration from hostile countries.FDR, that 
icon of progressive, socialist, marxist, Democrat partyers, Did it. 
He even rounded up all the legal immigrants and citicens from hostile 
countries and penned them up for the duration.


Here is Trump's "majik formula"  Say something the media considers 
"outrageous"  but the people in most of the US land mass (Except big

I have some twisted pair 22 AWG I could give you.  One red,
one black, one un-insulated wire under a jacket.  But USPS

I have a $100 Crosman break-barrel single pump that does a pretty good 
job once I get it sighted (cited? sited? sided?) in, which needs to be 
done about every 3rd shot.  Also have to tighten up all the screws about 
every 4th shot.  I managed to clean out the squirrel population in front 
of the house, it is good out to maybe 75ft and if I put some lube in the 
barrel it will crack with a supersonic shot, so probably at least 
1100fps maybe a bit more.


The squirrels must teach the little ones somehow, I have only managed to 
get a couple the last coupla months, they run off when I go out and when 
I grab the gun they are gone.


Airgun Depot is where I got it (and they had a special on a pump pistol 
too when I got it so the pair and some pellets were like $150) and they 
are having all kinds of specials coming up to Christmas if you get on 
their email list.

needed to for few years now; maybe I got enough of 'em that they don't call 
this "home" any more.  Because of my shaky hands, SWMBO was amazed that I 
could hit 'em so well from out in the yard as they perched way up on edge of 
gutters or the widow's walk railing.  I told her, "There's no shaking when I 
lean the gun against a tree or a fence pillar."  My fear was that they'd 
fall onto widow's walk roof or into the gutter, but they'd fly just enough 
after being hit to clear the house and "crash and burn" in the yard, where I 
could easily bury them.
