Nope. No way to port it, sorry.

Hi Wilson, do you know about MSXBR-L?

Hmmm, MSXPad 4 Linux? It seems very difficult to port. SLotman used a
development IDE from a Gameboy
emulator, or something like that, which is in Visual Basic (hmm, Delphi
would be more portable - Kylix). Another problem

Where did you got this idea about gameboy?! Nope, I didnt got anything from
a gameboy ide 8P
But I am indeed using VB for it, and a control made in VC to color the code
and perform the critical tasks.

to avoid is that he used BrMSX as the MSX emulator to compile the
new-developed Pascal code, and BrMSX doesn't fits very
well in Linux.

Actually, any MSX emulator that accepts command line works with MSX Pad,
I'm using now NLMSX for testing my programs, and eventually BrMSX;

I'm looking for a way of creating my Pascal files into Linux and running
it into a MSX emulator, so... Well, I
haven't forget the precious help of Alex Wulms and Frits Hilderink (thankx
in advance), but I think I'll have more free
time this weekend, and I wanna try to finish this. So... I hope I'll be
programming in Pascal again very soon, writing
code into my Linuxbox, compiling into a MSX emulator, and finally running
into my T-R.

Cool! If there's anything I can do to help, just name it! =)

Hi Slotman,

I just looked for the comdlg32.dll and it does exist in my
windows\system32 folder. So that can't be the problem.

Comdlg32.dll: version 6.00.2600. (xpclient.010817-1148)

When I start MSX Pad and select File-New-Project, I can choose for
normal or Game. After choosing normal, the screen stay's blank (also
when I choose for Game), but ok, so then I type some stuff, but I
can't
save it ?? The save menu item stays off :((

Hmmm. something is wrong.
After you choose file-new-project, what's the project name you chose?
where you saved it? After you saved nothing shows up on the code window
(it
should at least on the normal version shows a begin end.)? And what
about the treeview? Does it shows anything at all?

Seems to me that when the program asks where to save the project file,
you
hit cancel; or are you using it on win2k? I've got one report of the
save
dialog not showing on win2k, although I used an 100% win2k compatible

Hmm, well It seems that also don't get the save project file box. When I

Yes, I know about that; it's because (you can see on the bottom of the help
file) this help was converted from a norton guide help file, and the output
was like that; then I converted it to .chm; just forget about the turbo
pascal - log entry and use the right part of the help file, which is the
main section and shows everything about pascal.

It's not a help file about MSX Pad though; just a small improvised help
about the pascal language.

Thanks for everything!
