Our client in OH is looking for someone mid-level, someone with mainly
support projects, not implementations, who could work on $50 to$55 (DOE) per
hour all inclusive or less.

· Looking for someone to roll up their sleeves and perform some
day-to-day activities.

· Examples of the types of activities we need someone to perform are
as follows:

Hello,

I hope all is well. I was hoping you have the bandwidth to support with one
of my current openings for a Sr. Oracle Developer with WMS and MSCA
experience. The requirements are below.

*JOB DESCRIPTION*

Client is currently interviewing for a Sr. Applications Developer to take on
a position in Brea, CA.

*Must be **local **to **California**, duration is 4 to 6 months. *

The Sr. Applications Developer will be expected to complete the development
of RICE elements, MD70s, Unit Testing, System/regression Testing Support and
Production Support. Qualifications are as follows:

·5+ years experience with Oracle 11i EBS and at least 2
implementation
experiences with Oracle WMS/MSCA.

·Any experience with OTM would be huge plus.

·Knowledge in the configuration of Oracle WMS including the Rules
Engine and hands on experience in MWA server configuration for MSCA.

·Strong knowledge of WMS APIs to develop Inbound/Outbound interfaces
with 3rd party Warehouse Control System.

·Strong technical skills are required including Forms, Reports,
PL/SQL and XML Publisher.

·Working knowledge in OTM Applications and OTM Integration with
Oracle Applications would be huge plus.

Previous experience of work with Offshore (India) technical team to support
development/testing.

Assignment details:

The role primarily interprets architecture and requirements documents
through building designs in UML. The role also works with the development
team to ensure the design and architecture are realized in the code. The
only coding would be to prototype a design. Typical design decisions are how
to use design frameworks and tools (i.e. Spring, STRUTS, Hibernate, Ajax) to
realize the architecture and requirements. We also specifically evaluate new
open source frameworks and tools regularly.

Designers are often architects as well, depending on the position. It seems
that every company has a slightly different definition of the two titles. To
us, Design work is essentially interpreting architecture and requirements
documents, creating the UML diagrams (i.e. sequence diagram), writing sample
code to help explain the design to developers and finally following the
design through development via answering development questions and
participating in code reviews where the designer is accountable for ensuring
proper execution of the design, not accountable for java development and/or
coding practices.

Without experience in an architect role, it is difficult to be an effective
designer.

Here is a listing of skills I view as critical for a designer. As with
architects, SOA knowledge is important for a designer, but equally important
for design are experience levels with data access methodologies and
performance optimization techniques (i.e. Hibernate, Spring JDBC and other
ORM/mapping technologies), design framework expertise including designing
applications with STRUTS, Spring, JSF, etc. and excellent java skills which
are especially useful as a designer for application performance aspects and
code review accountabilities. Thorough knowledge of design frameworks (Gang
of Four) is essential. Leadership and communication skills are critical for
successfully working with development teams throughout the development
process as designs are implemented and modified.

We are looking for candidates with true architecture experience, i.e. not
lead developer/tech lead experience. Extensive experience with Spring would
be beneficial.
