Re: [oXygen-user] Different indices not repected in Epub3 transformation
Dear Radu, here is an example and the pdf raised with the xslt-snapshot. Please ignore the chapterwise pagenumbers. I did not reduce the private transformation layer. This pagenumbers are not relevant to the problem. How the snapshot was incorparated into the transformation layer I have already shown. Re: [oXygen-user] Different indices not repected in Epub3 transformation
Hi Bob and Radu, I have this scenario in oxygen to produce the epub: For the pdf transformation I downloaded the snapshot of a new XSLT to a subdirectory of the xsl dir (for the project) and loaded it in the private transformation file: ... http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform; xmlns:d="http://docbook.org/ns/docbook; xmlns:fo="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format; version="1.0"> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< http://docbook.sourceforge.net/xmlns/l10n/1.0;> This xsl snapshot does produce three consecutive indices. How could one adapt this to the epub generation? @Radu: I expect four different indizes, Titles as in the extract, and not the indexterms in one big index as it is done now. Unfortunately the files epub and pdf are quite large (570 resp 57 Mb). the pdf can be found her: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fz1n8xxxnljrkgr/FalterinLenzkirch_C_draft.pdf?dl=0 The first index starts at page 390. I hope that this information helps. If necessary I may prepare in MWE. Italics in the text are present with the font selected (Alegreya), however, in section titles there is a font replacement which I donot understand: Lymantriinae - Trägspinner is the wrong replacement, Elkneria pudibunda ist correctly shown. I had in the customization the following lines: > > > > > the empty space in front of %t in both lines was ???. Re: [oXygen-user] Error when transforming
For the moment I have solved the problem by changing ..\Oxygen XML Editor 20\frameworks\docbook\xsl\fo\docbook_custom.xsl and adding the lines from my customization. This worked. Copying docbook_custom.xsl to the xsl/fo/ subfolder of my project doesnot work since it links to further stylesheets. Re: [oXygen-user] Error when transforming
I have analyzed the situation: When I transform the glossar of my book, transformation is without trouble. However, when transforming the whole book plus the glossar, it stumbles I then analyzed the glossar: It has seven glossdivs. The last one consists of some 20 glossdefs, of which I show the last ones: Tumor Als Tumor wird zunächst eine raumfordernde Wucherung von Zellen bezeichnet, ein synonymer Ausdruck ist Neoplasie. Genetischer Code Genetischer Code [163 lines] It is this table which made the transformation choke. But only in the context of the book, not in the glossar itself. Can you please explain to me what I do wrong and how to change the behaviour? I have changed the transformation scenario to: and are using the following stylesheet: http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform; xmlns:fo="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format; xmlns:d="http://docbook.org/ns/docbook; version="1.0"> http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl-ns/current/fo/docbook.xsl"/> justify Regards Bernhard -- spitzhalde9 D-79853 lenzkirch bernhard.kle...@gmx.net www.b-kleine.com, www.urseetal.net - thunderbird mit enigmail GPG schlüssel: D5257409 fingerprint: 08 B7 F8 70 22 7A FC C1 15 49 CA A6 C7 6F A0 2E D5 25 74 09 signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ oXygen-user mailing list oXygen-user@oxygenxml.com https://www.oxygenxml.com/mailman/listinfo/oxygen-user

Re: [oXygen-user] Reference managers for use with Oxygen?
There is a docbook5 export that works flawlessly now. The only point not working is a plus in the bibtexkey that when used for xml:id is faulty because docbook5 does not accept a plus in a xml:id. There should be a general substitution of plus by dot but in jabref5 I could not find it. But all the other items are satisfactorily solved. Hi, I designed a booklet with a couple of figures with oxygen. The booklet is transformed with FO. I have changed already the Transformation Scenery to fit to my purpose. However, I cannot get rid of the way figures are indented with FO. I have already made some preparations and copied fo_param.xsl, fo.css, and docbook.xsl into the following structure. The paths in docbook.xsl were changed to account for a not normal place. project/ ├── README.txt ├── project.xpr ├── xml/ │ ├── book.xml │ └── cha-intro.xml └── xslt/ ├── fo/ │ ├── fo_param.xsl │ ├── fo.css │ └── docbook.xsl └── xhtml/ Where can I now find the information which when changed will enable to get rid of figure indentation. [oXygen-user] repeated indexentries with the same text from the same page
During the indexing process I noticed that an repeated indexentry is not automatically removed. An example: I agree that the example is not very intelligent. I substituted the entity with "> TH (Schilddrüsenhormon)T₃, (Trijodothyronin)" > and the page 521 is about thyroid hormones, but it shows that FOP does not check for doubled page numbers of the same entry. Hi, in LaTeX you could habe a macro in your preamble like \newcommand*{\abk}[2]{(#1)} then a line like \index{ATP|abk{Adenosin-Tri-Phosphat}} would give the Indexentry with the fulltext added ATP, (Adenosin-Tri-Phosphat), 82, 198 Is this possible in XML with Oxygin 20? I have tried latexml and I have objections on two points: 1. the resulting xml is to complex to be easily read 2. not all packages are supported when I tried it. Since I am a science author and not a freal with computer languages the task to provide a package to be used with latexml by far is over my head. What I like about oxygen that I do not have to worry about computer languages, parsing and transforming, but I can work on my book with a minimal knowledge of xml. Within a month, the testing period, I converted some 300 pages of LaTeX to docbook 5 xml and can see at least the result as an epub which is quite nice. For the polishing and preparing the book for print and electronic publishing, I will turn to the professionals to do the xslt stuff. Maybe later when the book is almost ready I might become interested to try xslt myself. Re: [oXygen-user] Search and Replace with regular expression
Hi Gerrit I tried it an it starts to search over newline. Since the book was heavily indexed this renders the proposed search non valid. Before I could something like \index{IGF-Rezeptor}\index{GH-Rezeptor}\index{IGFBP} usefull by adding line feeds. But with your construct that is not possible. BTW the problem has another level of complexity. As you are aware docbook and latex have three levels of indexing. the full expression to be replaced would be \index{Nerven>splanchnische>CCK}. I hope that you could propose a solution to that, too. Today I tried to add a figure as well as a table in the author modus using special adding as XML and got both times a validation error. This error was not apparent when the very same figure or table was added while in text modus. The respective code in text mode is not different whether you add a figure or a table in author or text mode while validation sees something different.
