Copyright Enforcement for Photographers
The Concours d’Elegance of America at St. Johns, held annually in Plymouth, Mich. is an affair for millionaires that earns vast amounts of money. Brenda Priddy is an automotive photographer who ekes out a living shooting for a wide range of publications. Earlier this year, the Concours organizers used two of her photos for advertisements and a brochure cover. They didn’t tell her. They didn’t pay her. And they cloned out her copyright mark. She asked to be paid and they simply told her to walk. She is now trying to raise enough money to sue as they are in clear violation of several legal codes. Re: OT: Windoze 10 Re-ducks
You might want to take a look at RawTherapee. I haven't used it in quite a while, but it seemed quite capable as a Raw Converter/Image Editor not all the bells and whistles of Photoshop, but more capable than a straight raw converter. I chucked it basically because it developed issues with K20D files, and a fix was taking forever to appear. It's probably fixed by now. It was also slow on the machine I was using then, but that was a very slow machine. On 8/2/2016 9:04 AM, Larry Colen wrote: John wrote: I wish the ghost of Babbage would mind his own business.
