After experiencing the same issues others have had (i.e. max log ins and now playing "nothing"), I reinstalled the current version (todays) and now its working greatexcept one thing: the info displayed is wrong. No matter what station I choose - E Street Radio shows Cat Stevens playing "Sitting" instead of what I'm hearing - live version of "Spirit in the night"; on Alt radio it shows the Kaiser Chiefs playin "Ruby" (this is going on 15+ minutes and after changing stations and/or refreshing the display). Thanks! I understand the GUI clutter issue ... but this control probably should be externalised so that the 10day forecast format can be easily set to match the 'current' formats ... for all of us users in 'metric'/MKS countries. Do you see RTSP entries in Settings/Advanced/FileTypes and if so are the 3 entries they all enabled ? 3. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] PocketSqueeze: Preview release now available
The cache is already stored on the PPC. At the moment I can't connect to the MySQL database directly so I have to run the database tool on a desktop to do that part. This creates an SQLite database that then has to be copied to the PPC. Eventually I'll have to find a way to do the database download directly in PocketSqueeze but its not a high priority. I'll have to think about the A-Z. It would be very hard to implement on the album and track lists (because it would have to be based on the current sort criteria) but maybe I could do it just for the artist, genre and year lists. I'm not sure I have space for it either. I have a couple of other ideas for moving through long lists quickly though. At the moment the left/right direction keys move through the list and will trigger page changes. On my Axim these keys auto-repeat if they are held down. I'm also thinking of implementing a touch-slide-hold function on the screen which will trigger auto-repeating page advances. netim3;279902 Wrote: > Hi > > I like the way you're keeping the SC look & feel. > > I agree re the importance of keeping a cache for speedy performance. > Could you keep this on the PPC itself, rather than on another device? > I'd prefer to add some memory there than have to leave a PC running all > the time. > > I have a large music collection, so I'd suggest the following: On the > text-list views for Artist & Album, have a row across the top for A-Z > to allow jumping to a particular point without having to hit Next 25 > times. > > I'd also suggest taking a look at Telcanto, see if that gives you any > other ideas. > > nice work -- shawkie shawkie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3751 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44558 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Hi I like the way you're keeping the SC look & feel. I agree re the importance of keeping a cache for speedy performance. Could you keep this on the PPC itself, rather than on another device? I'd prefer to add some memory there than have to leave a PC running all the time. I have a large music collection, so I'd suggest the following: On the text-list views for Artist & Album, have a row across the top for A-Z to allow jumping to a particular point without having to hit Next 25 times. I'd also suggest taking a look at Telcanto, see if that gives you any other ideas. nice work -- netim3 netim3's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=219 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44558 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Email checker for SC7?
I've installed the email checker and it shows up on the plugins page, but when I click the 'settings' link, I get the IE 'webpage cannot be found' message. Where am I going wrong? [SlimDevices: Plugins] CustomBrowse & objecttype "albumheader"
I have added a custom field to my MP3 files called CHORUS (storing the Chorus of some composition). This is scanned using CustomScan and displayed in the web interface of SqueezeCenter on various places using CustomBrowse. One of the places I can show it, is using the objecttype "albumheader"; it then appears on a page which first has some info about the album (artwork, title, duration, file size, etc. and the Chorus I've added myself) and then shows all the tracks. However, I cannot add using a similar procedure, fields such as BAND and COMPOSER. That is, I define the "albumheader" object types in exactly the same way I did for CHORUS (but then with value ("level 1 tag name") BAND or COMPOSER), and they are enabled, but they don't show. Am I doing something wrong? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MyPicks for SC7, anyone?
Hi tamanaco, I accidentally found out that if you delete an entry from Favorites using the web UI, the web UI remembers the entry for a while, so that you can move to other folders in the Favorites and re-insert it at the desired level.. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SuperDateTime - Current Date/Temperature and/or Baseball Screensaver
I've gone ahead and posted an updated SC7 version. This version fixes parsing of NCAA basketball games and 10-day forecasts. Both should appear fine on Duet controllers. www.gregbrown.net Thanks -Greg -- GoCubs GoCubs's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=312 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
