I have the Spotify plug-in running on Squeezebox Server 7.7.1. Seems to be working fine, except both Artist, Tracks and Album is empty when I choose the Library menu. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Can SqueezeBox / Other Streaming Software be configured as an Audio Driver?
I am not trying to do anything really complicated, I would just like the audio output from my notebook to go to my stereo system. I don't want to attach any cables to my notebook or buy any new hardware. Since my notebook already has WiFi it seems like this would be the easiest (only) solution. So I would like to find a software which can act as a virtual device driver and compress sound output and send it to another WiFi device which can decompress and feed it into the input jack of a stereo system. I installed Squeezebox on my system and it is pretty resource heavy. From what I see it is running in Pearl??? And I don't think SB is really doing what I want to do. I want to be able to output any sound from my notebook to my stereo. This should not be that hard (or expensive) to do. -- charlie.p charlie.p's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52668 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92582 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
Hi Shutting down the server (the machine) from the Squeezebox/SrvrPowerCtrl web interface works fine. However doing the same from the Logitech Android app does not. It simply says Ladevorgang läuft (charging in progress) but does not run the shutdown command. When I shut it down from the web interface, the Logitech Android app says: Shutting down server in 10 seconds. I've been using Triode's plug-in for some time now. Recently I replaced my music server with a newer one, so I did a clean install of squeezeboxserver, so now I'm running 7.7.1 on Ubuntu 11.10 x64. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SharkPlay plugin - radioSHARK player
The plugin can be made to work with original RadioShark but it has a different protocol and a different supporting app which I cannot test. IIRC I think I provided details to another user about the necessary changes somewhere in this thread but I cannot be sure they work. I find it hard to believe that original RadioShark is still on sale and not the RadioShark 2. I would think it could be someone being careless in their description. There were two models original RadioShark (I'll call it 1) which was then replaced by the Radioshark 2. Griffin stopped selling the RadioShark 1 at least 3-4 yrs and recently have stopped selling the RadioShark 2. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=54926 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I've looked at the api and can't see any additional details necessary to make this happen - could it be that you have played too many tracks previously via the app and hence its taking a while for new tracks to reach the top of the list? (don't know whether you can reset it somewhere?) Possible. It may also be that these top lists in Spotify are only updated once a week or see. I'll keep an eye on it. -- cakes Server : Logitech Media Server Version: 7.7.1 on iMac / OSX 10.7.2. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
The recent spotify preview version now has apps and there's quite a few that I like - the radio feature is improved; now you can for instance start a radio station based on one song - there is a last fm app, and you can generate playlists based on a song, recommendations Any plans to add some of this functionality to the plugin? -- cakes Server : Logitech Media Server Version: 7.7.1 on iMac / OSX 10.7.2.
