Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Weather Screensafer for Radio/Touch/Controller
Hi all, I just bought the SB radio and installed the weather applet. However, I canot get my city info up and running. I am from Nuremberg Germany. When checking wunderground it says that the airport weatherstation´s ID is EDDN. I entered this in the apps configuration. Although the radio displays the small icons (today tomorrow and the day after tomorrow) it does show the icon for the current weather, but never the tempereature. It only shows C° without additional info. When checking on wunderground there is such information so that the weatherstation at the airport seems to work. As there is no other adequate PWS and I live in the airport´s vicinity I would highly appreciate if somebody could help me. Thank You! If I selct play the entire album will load in the RHS of the web interface and I can then select the unrated tracks, so there is a work-around, but it's not the behaviour I was expecting (or had before). -- onimod onimod's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38914 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92099 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
Sorry if I'm duplicating this one, tried to search for similar issue but didn't find it. So, the problem is that almost everything seems ok - but it refuses to play songs from spotify with following error: - check_player:191 cli connection error: Unknown error 10054 main:766 unable to play on this player: -1 - This appears when trying to play track, and when performing self test (last test fails with 'Helper app unable to authenticate player (error: -1)'). Setup is: - LMS 7.7.1, Triode's Spotify plugin v2.2.2 - one SB Classic 3 and one SB Radio. - Players are on same subnet as server, no firewalls in between, port 9005 is opened from spotifyd process and accessible from other machines on lan. - Original Spotify app is registered on SB radio and works ok, with this same error is reported on both devices. I guess that I did something stupid in the process, but unable to find out what. thanx in advance, Le Piaf -- lepiaf lepiaf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52987 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

garym Wrote: Not positive about this, but my understanding is that one can NOT have both the logitech spotify app AND the triode spotify app installed at the same time. Remove the logitech spotify app from your my apps on mysqueezebox.com. Then restart your local LMS, reboot radio/SB3 and try all again. That one occurred to me also, tried, but no luck :( Triode;681459 Wrote: This means the helper app can't connect to the server over the cli port - is cli enabled and/or do you have a firewall which would prevent the helper app connecting to it? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Browse problem
Hi, I've set up Custom Scan/Custom Browse for my collection of classical music, following the example in Erland's Wiki. I'm using LMS 7.7.1. Example: Works by Composer -Haydn --Symphony No.31 --Symphony No.45 Level 1 tag COMPOSER/COMPOSERSORT Level 2 tag WORK/WORKSORT Using the Touch interface, sitting on the Works By Composer screen (level 1), I can long-press Haydn (or select Haydn and press + on the remote) and the context menu appears, allowing me to play now, add to playlist, etc, which obviously adds both works (i.e. all 8 tracks) to the Now Playing list. However, after going to the level 2 Screen (List of works by Haydn, the two symponies in this example), a long press (or remote + button) on one of the works brings up an empty menu, so the work cannot be added to the Now Playing list. Pressing Play on the remote control adds the work (4 tracks) to the Now Playing list and begins play immediately, but the only way to add the work through the touch screen is to display the list of tracks in the work by tapping the work, then adding each track individually to the now playing list. I don't have the problem with my SB3 - the + key works, adding the selected work to the end of the playlist. Behaviour is also as expected using the web interface. The problem seems to be the empty context menu on the Touch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- darrell darrell's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13460 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92809 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

If so, you need to enable Extension Downloader to be able to install third party plugin. If this isn't the issue, which SBS version are you running ? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Browse problem
It's a limitation of the current Custom Browse version. Currently Custom Browse doesn't produce its own context menu, it relies on the standard context menu. The result of this is that for object types that aren't known to standard SBS, the context menu will be empty like you see in your setup. I'll put it on the list of things to look at for a future release. I think it might work with iPeng and possibly also with some of the other iOS and Android apps which render Add item in the context menu themselves or as iPeng provides a way to add items without opening a context menu at all. -- erland Erland Isaksson ('My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info)) (Developer of 'many plugins/applets (both free and commercial)' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/User:Erland). iPeng supports that.
