Not sure how to get the URL you wish to see? If I r-click and "copy
link address", I get this:

Browse in to the Favorites edit mode, click the pencil icon on one of
those playlists.

Or check out the favorites.opml file in the cache or playlist folder.

Thanks for your reply. I am not exactly sure what you have done. PCP, is
that 'picore player' or port control protocol? I am a little out of my
depth, if you could be a little more step-by-step on this work-around it
would be great.

Hopefully, given it seems to be a repeatable problem, the author can
figure out what is happening here. NETGEAR ReadyNAS is a common platform
for LMS.

As explained the plugin can't run on your model of NAS due to that the
cpu is not supported .

Run LMS on something else another computer you already have or spend 50$
On a raspberry pi 3 as server .

You can still use the NAS to store the music files .

Another option is MobaXterm http://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/
I is a one program Scp/Sftp and SSH client which has lots of usefull

NP++ but its good enough that I rarely need to use NP++
Its free as well !

I'm not sure how I got BOTH the Preview version and also got enrolled in
the beta program. Perhaps the beta program was supposed to supersede the
Preview and I missed the note suggesting I uninstall Preview.

Just to recap: I have both Orange Squeeze and Orange Squeeze Preview
installed on my Samsung Galaxy S8+. When I run the Play Store app on the
phone and look at the entry for Orange Squeeze, the version shown by the
play store entry is 2.5.0.20140608.1433 updated on June 9, 2014. When I
bring up the Play store web interface it shows the new version. When I
install it thru the web interface I still get the OLD version
(2.5.0.20140608.1433).

I have uninstalled Orange Squeeze, cleared the Play Store data and
cache, rebooted my phone and installed Orange Squeeze fresh and I still
have the old version.

I'm still confused about which version number you have installed and
which version number you expect to install. Are this the one you are
installing / have installed?:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.orangebikelabs.orangesqueeze

It says latest released version is 2.1.5-2, which is confirmed in the
official changelog:

https://www.orangebikelabs.com/products/orangesqueeze/changelog

Have you tried installing via web (above play.google.com link)? You
don't happen to have both an official and a preview versions installed
now?

I just went back (on the Boom) to favourites and started Motherland

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Does Spotty Support Squeezebox Radio Preset Buttons?

2017-08-07 Thread kidstypike

Right thanks guys, but I think this is all a red herring, I have the
latest LMS, Spotty, and piCorePlayer versions on two separate Raspberry
pi's and they both do the same thing, they need 2 presses of the preset
button (on both Boom and Radio) to get the playlist to start.

Press the preset button with a Spotify playlist assigned to it, and the
only thing that happens is I get an error in the server log, as posted a
few times above.

Wait 2 minutes and press the preset button and the only thing that
happens is an error in the server log.

Press the preset button and I get an error in the server log, *but,*
press the button again within say 20 seconds and it plays.

Yes, I know how to assign a preset button.

Yes, but does the bloody playlist play with a single press of the preset
button?

On the laptop, selected a play-list and started it on the Boom.

Went to the Boom and pressed the first button and got this message

Messed about restarting and rebooting, but still no joy.

Then the light-bulb went on  and I navigated on the Boom

I've had Squeezeboxen pretty much since Slimdevices started. Bought my
first one directly from them and drove to their HQ to pick it up since
they were just down the road from me in Sunnyvale, :) Since then I've
added two more (Radio and a V3) and am using my new Clazio speaker as a
player. I much prefer to use my Echo and my Google Home to control my
devices and I'd love to be able to do the same with my SB players.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Erlands commercial plugins available for free

2017-08-07 Thread Basa

May I add my thanks to Erland for developing and maintaining these. I
have a lifetime licence for Dynamic Playlist which I have used for many
years. I use it to randomize large playlists (I know LMS can do this by
itself but it takes forever with a big playlist, or at least it used to,
whereas Dynamic Playlist just does it.) I've just upgraded to LMS 7.9
and the latest version of Dynamic Playlist, which is working perfectly
(once I spotted there were new options to get it to show the playlists
:) ). Thanks again Erland - it's much appreciated.

I had similar results as @kidstypike. I went and played something else
from spotty then pressed the preset button again and it worked.

The first times I tried I had been listening to local radio when
assigned the spotty playlist to the playlist.

Thanks to Michael and others in the forums for the assist.

Michael

We're getting somewhere :)

I tried with a public list, and I got the same result. But maybe 10-20
seconds later, I pressed the preset button again, and the playlist
played!

So I tried with one of my own playlists and that too needs 2 presses of
the preset button to kick it into action.

So playing a playlist from a preset is indeed fixed.

However, on the webgui, playing a Spotify playlist saved as a favourite
still does not work.

Cheers

On this pi, there's never been any Spotify related plugins, I only got a
premium Spotify account when you came up with your "Spotty" plugin, as
there was a 3 months for the price of one offer on, and my sister would
need me to set Spotty up for her when the axe fell.

I'm not really interested in Spotify, and will cease to use it on 20th
this month.

Cheers

I reported this a few posts up, after you said it had been fixed
Spotty v1.2.1

I know. Did you uninstall _all_ Spotify related plugins but Spotty?

I can't reproduce the issue. It just works for me (like for others...).

Hmm... and you have the latest Spotty plugin installed, and all other
Spotify related plugins uninstalled?
