Not sure how to get the URL you wish to see? If I r-click and "copy link address", I get this: Browse in to the Favorites edit mode, click the pencil icon on one of those playlists. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
Thanks for your reply. I am not exactly sure what you have done. PCP, is that 'picore player' or port control protocol? I am a little out of my depth, if you could be a little more step-by-step on this work-around it would be great. Hopefully, given it seems to be a repeatable problem, the author can figure out what is happening here. NETGEAR ReadyNAS is a common platform for LMS. Just to recap: I have both Orange Squeeze and Orange Squeeze Preview installed on my Samsung Galaxy S8+. When I run the Play Store app on the phone and look at the entry for Orange Squeeze, the version shown by the play store entry is 2.5.0.20140608.1433 updated on June 9, 2014. When I bring up the Play store web interface it shows the new version. When I install it thru the web interface I still get the OLD version (2.5.0.20140608.1433). I have uninstalled Orange Squeeze, cleared the Play Store data and cache, rebooted my phone and installed Orange Squeeze fresh and I still have the old version. short_y's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8753 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107702 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Does Spotty Support Squeezebox Radio Preset Buttons?
Right thanks guys, but I think this is all a red herring, I have the latest LMS, Spotty, and piCorePlayer versions on two separate Raspberry pi's and they both do the same thing, they need 2 presses of the preset button (on both Boom and Radio) to get the playlist to start. Press the preset button with a Spotify playlist assigned to it, and the only thing that happens is I get an error in the server log, as posted a few times above. Wait 2 minutes and press the preset button and the only thing that happens is an error in the server log. Press the preset button and I get an error in the server log, *but,* press the button again within say 20 seconds and it plays. *Server* - LMS 7.9.1 > Raspberry Pi3/piCorePlayer 3.21, 25K library on a network drive, cache and playlists on a USB stick. *Lounge* - RPi 2/Max2Play > HiFiBerry DIGI+ > AudioEngine DAC1 > AVI DM5 *Study* - RPi 3/piCorePlayer 3.21 > HiFiBerry DAC+ > CA Minx 5 *Dining Room* - Boom *Garage* - RPi3/piCorePlayer 3.02 > HiFiBerry DAC+ > Sharp micro system *In car* - LMS 7.9.1 > RPi3/Max2Play/Access Point plugin > HiFiBerry DAC+ > car's hifi (files on a 2TB portable USB drive) *Spares* - 1xTouch, 1xSB3, 1xRadio kidstypike's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10436 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107723 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

May I add my thanks to Erland for developing and maintaining these. I have a lifetime licence for Dynamic Playlist which I have used for many years. I use it to randomize large playlists (I know LMS can do this by itself but it takes forever with a big playlist, or at least it used to, whereas Dynamic Playlist just does it.) I've just upgraded to LMS 7.9 and the latest version of Dynamic Playlist, which is working perfectly (once I spotted there were new options to get it to show the playlists :) ). Thanks again Erland - it's much appreciated. Barry. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Does Spotty Support Squeezebox Radio Preset Buttons?
I had similar results as @kidstypike. I went and played something else from spotty then pressed the preset button again and it worked. The first times I tried I had been listening to local radio when assigned the spotty playlist to the playlist. Thanks to Michael and others in the forums for the assist. But maybe 10-20 seconds later, I pressed the preset button again, and the playlist played! So I tried with one of my own playlists and that too needs 2 presses of the preset button to kick it into action. So playing a playlist from a preset is indeed fixed. However, on the webgui, playing a Spotify playlist saved as a favourite still does not work.
