Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
I think "Toast Notifications" is a good idea. Having to choose with or without sound in Windows setting is no obstacle, but the "Toast Notifications" must also be possible to disable in the SLX settings page. I downloaded 2.45 (stretch), burned and installed it on a Pi3. Updated it to 2.46. 24927 Installed LMS, and scanned my music library, installed Bluetooth, and can play *from* LMS *to* a Bluetooth speaker, no problem :) Your changelog would lead one to believe that the other option: stream from a phone to any Sqeezebox player connected to M2P/LMS is now working. Is my supposition correct? 24928 However, on the web interface it appears that this feature isn't yet available? 24929 Could you please clarify the situation? Yes, sorry about that. [SlimDevices: Plugins] HELP: PCP 3.5 AP Mode
Howdy, folks. Is there a way to configure a few Pi/DAC combinations via AP mode without knowing in advance what the network settings are at an installation point? I'd like to gift a few units to a friend (with one as LMS server) as a house-warming present, but since I won't be there to create a 'newconfig.cfg' file for his network and he doesn't have a technical skill set, I'm wondering if there was a way for him to use his smart phone and set up with a bit of guidance from me over the phone. Thanks in advance! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
I'm not sure I understand your issue. - You can download any image and update to our newest version, 2.46. - There are image downloads for our older Jessie Image (2.44) and our newer Stretch Image (2.45) from the time they got released. - We might update the download itself as well, but updates are generally there to quickly be able to push changes and fixes out to everybody at the same time. - It does not matter if you were to download 2.45 and update to 2.46 or get the image directly as 2.46. All features would be the same, the update is done in an instant and there's no reboot required afterwards. I hope this clears things up. Thanks for your quick reply. My pi is directly connected to a switch and then to the router, everything over lan. I wouldnt know why my pi lost network sometimes. I try to authenticate new, but this is not possible.
