2018-10-05 Thread gunnar

Hi!
I replaced the old LMS 7.7.x on my QNAP NAS with QLMS 7.9.2 today, and
also installed Spotty. Installation went smoothly, and Spotty shows up
as a service in both the server and the player. Did only try one player,
which is a SB3 classic. But it wont play from Spotify, "Problem opening
file", or something similar, translated from Norwegian. I can choose
the same player through the direct function from the Spotify app on my
iPhone, but the same happens, it won`t play. I can search, and the
artist/album/tracks/coverart is found. I can playjust fine from my local
collection on the NAS. I have 5 players, and I`m very happy that you
have developed this plugin. I used the Triode plugin until just a few
days ago, and it still worked, except no Spotify search.

Are you saying buffering problem only happens with Live streams and not
Listen Again.

What spec PC are you using ? Processor and memory ?
For some W10 systems longer delays are necessary - increase delay (up
to 5 min) to see if buffering stops.

With delays too small - The W10 problems ALWAYS happens with Live
streams - if it only happens occassionally - it indicates possibly
another issue.
If you are getting rebuffering when stream has been playing for a few
minutes - then something else may also be happening.
Any BBCiPlayer message in the server log file ?
What security s/w are you using ?

I've been having the 404 problem, but strangely only with the images
presented by the BBC, when using the LMS web UI. My my Orange Squeeze
android app was just showing empty lists.

I've running LMS 7.9.1 for a while, added the latest BPA repo and
restarted LMS and all is well on the LMS web UI as well as the Orange
Squeeze app.

Thanks so much!

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.4.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox

2018-10-05 Thread Michael Herger

Would you see the same disappearing of players if they were not synced?

Yes. And more:
All three players unsynced, I have nine instances of "spotty-hf -c ...",
nothing to connect to in Spotify App.

Can you get the full command line? That's not enough to make good sense.

Do you have more than the three usually synced players? You have _nine_
of them?

Connected to that player started a playlist in Spotify: no reaction, no
music played, progress bar in app not moving.
Second attempt to start a song gets 1 second of music and then the
player trips [07:43]: amp goes off (Power Switch II) and player shows
boot screen.

What kind of player is this? Are you saying it spontaneously rebooted?!?

Two observations form your log files:

- the one which covers a full day shows a server restart around
midnight. Is this something you did on purpose, or something that
happens automatically?

- you seem to be using a custom client_id. Is this correct? Did you
modify it in the log file?

- right after the restart I don't see any message for the newly started
daemons. Is this due to logging not being enabled yet? Is logging not
enabled when the server starts? Please make sure it does: check the
"keep settings on restart" box on the logging page.

And always send me a full day worth of log files...

Yes. And more:
All three players unsynced, I have nine instances of "spotty-hf -c ...",
nothing to connect to in Spotify App.
Woke up one SB, started playing immediately, but still nothing under
"Connect to a Device" in Spotify.
Paused player, no change.
Started other player, started playing the last song played yesterday.
Still no device seen in Spotify.
When music plays I see three more instances of "spotty-hf -n "
Unticked and re-ticked one player in LMS/Spotty/Spotify connect, and got
that player shown to connect to in app.
Other players still not there.
Connected to that player started a playlist in Spotify: no reaction, no
music played, progress bar in app not moving.
Second attempt to start a song gets 1 second of music and then the
player trips [07:43]: amp goes off (Power Switch II) and player shows
boot screen.
When player was back I could continue to play from playlist.
Went back and unticked/ticked the other two players [07:55]. One showed
in app subsequently, the other didn't.
[07:58] music stops by itself. No device connected in app. Connected to
one player [08:01], resumed playlist.

Dropped you the server.log
