How would that work? Moving the content pane is not a swipe gesture, it's a pan gesture to, well, move the pane. It works in both directions, how would you replace that with an edge swipe? I enabled "Additional Debugging" in the setup menu. Oddly, it showed up in the terminal window I used to restart lms rather than the logfile I'm watching in another window. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] LMS-to-uPnP on FreeBSD 11.1 - squeeze2upnp-amd64 - won't work
I figured out why modified versions of Squeeze2upnp were being ignored: After you edit the file you have to restart the lms server. The lms server does not detect the change. There is no way to restart the lms server from the web interface (unless you get the moribund SrvrPowerCtrl plugin). So now I'm restarting the server with: /usr/local/etc/rc.d/lms restart After doing that, I get modified code live. The value of $os->{'os'} is "Unix". This makes sense because of code I read in Utils::OSDetect.pl which sets the "os" string to "Unix" if nothing gets set from existing tests. (This supports my early theory that, owing to no explicit test for freebsd, that we fall through to some default.) The hard-coded binary is found, but the functionality isn't quite there. You can go there https://sourceforge.net/projects/lms-plugins-philippe44/files/ and chose whatever version you want and then unzip it in the cache directoyr, over the existing one, but I do think it's something else. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
I've never understood power off in the LMS architecture, it doesn't seem to actually turn anything off. The problem with Pause is it doesn't remove anything from the current playlist. I too would like an actual Stop icon that stops what is playing and empties the playlist. The problem at present is there is always some junk in the playlist that I need to get rid of to play something new! One of the biggest problems with the Squeezebox system is that it has way too many specialized functionality for remote use cases only very few people need. Between "pause" and "power off" (which stops the stream like "stop") there are really few cases left where you need that additional button. Actually... if it was me I'd rather remove "power" (and maybe add a gesture for "stop" instead, like a long-press or something) but it's so deeply implanted in the architecture that it's needed too often - but it makes things like synchronization scenes so much more complicated that the whole sync handling is complicated by it... I'll see what I do in the upcoming big redesign but right now I'm against a "Stop"-button. > > Suggestion: I would like to see, and it would be very convenient if I > could swipe between pages and not having to hit the back arrow for > navigating. > You mean the edge-swipe that doubles as a back-gesture on iOS? That works, even on iPad where I had to implement it manually and even on the NowPlaying screen on iPhone where it conflicts a bit with the sub-pages but it still works fine if you really swipe from the edge of the screen. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 9, the Universal App for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'd much prefer new issues on github, as opposed to added here. Issues added on this form tend to get all jumbled up - and can lead to an issue bing overlooked. Any issues on github will get examined, and its easier to keep track of conversations relating to specific issues. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] LMS-to-uPnP on FreeBSD 11.1 - squeeze2upnp-amd64 - won't work
I'm trying to get the Ocean Digital WR230S working as a uPnP device with LMS. It looks like philippe_44s squeeze3upnp has been around for a long while. There are hundreds of posts on that announcement. This thread seems to be the one relevant to amd64-freebsd. My LMS is Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1425041484 @ Sun Mar 1 04:18:16 UTC 2015 Platform: amd64-freebsd Perl Version: 5.18.4 - amd64-freebsd-thread-multi The 3rd party Plugins found: UPnP/DLNA bridge (v1.20.0) As per other Forum info, I turned off Andy Grundman's UPnP/DLNA Media Interface, enabled philippe_44's plugin, and restarted. I had to restart multiple times before the plug-in showed as enabled. When I go to the settings page, it does not show as much as what 11max's screen shots show. 28073 So I figure that I've not got all the pieces. I looked through the "Squeeze2upnp - UPnP/DLNA bridge - User Guide" but couldn't quite connect the dots. What am I missing? This library is how Material can display lists with 1000s of items reasonably quickly - as it only shows (and adds to the HTML DOM) the items that are visible on screen. This is only used for non top-level lists that can toggle list/grid or have more than 200 items. However, seeing as the issue is with non-default zoom, not sure what I could do about it. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Settings Manager no longer works
For what it's worth (and for others looking to transfer settings to another server) I had some success. I used SettingsManager to copy the settings to a custom group. Grabbed them out of SettingsManager.prefs and massaged them a bit in a text editor so they looked like: Code: array( 'plugin.datetime::dateFormat' => '%a |%d %b %Y', 'plugin.datetime::dateformat' => '%a, %b |%d, %Y', 'plugin.datetime::timeformat' => '', 'plugin.datetime::timeFormat' => '|%I:%M', 'plugin.dontstopthemusic::provider' => 'PLUGIN_SPOTTY_RECOMMENDATIONS', 'plugin.musicinfo::plugin_musicinfo_alarm' => 0, 'plugin.musicinfo::plugin_musicinfo_alt_volume' => '', 'plugin.musicinfo::plugin_musicinfo_center_dbl_A_size' => '', 'plugin.musicinfo::plugin_musicinfo_center_dbl_A' => 'NOTHING', ... ... 'plugin.musicinfo::plugin_musicinfo_center_dbl_OFF_size' => 'full.2') I then pasted that text info an online JSON encoder at http://json_encode.onlinephpfunctions.com/ If the text was correct it would create a result like: Code: {"plugin.datetime::dateFormat":"%a |%d %b %Y","plugin.datetime::dateformat":"%a, %b |%d, %Y","plugin.datetime::timeformat":"","plugin.datetime::timeFormat":"|%I:%M","plugin.dontstopthemusic::provider":"PLUGIN_SPOTTY_RECOMMENDATIONS","plugin.musicinfo::plugin_musicinfo_alarm":0,"plugin.musicinfo::plugin_musicinfo_alt_volume":"","plugin.musicinfo::plugin_musicinfo_center_dbl_A_size":"","plugin.musicinfo::plugin_musicinfo_center_dbl_A":"NOTHING","plugin.musicinfo::plugin_musicinfo_center_dbl_OFF_size":"full.2"} I could then paste that into the Import Settings field on Settings Manager on the NEW server and import the settings to the player. There were certain setting strings that wouldn't encode correctly, so I've manually copied those as were appropriate. eg: Code: 'plugin.spotty::enableSpotifyConnect' => undef, 'server::apps' => {'sounds' => {'title' => 'PLUGIN_SOUNDS_MODULE_NAME','home_menu' => 1,'plugin' => 'Slim::Plugin::Sounds::Plugin','type' => 'opml','icon' => '/static/images/icons/icon_nature_sounds.png','url' => '/api/sounds/v1/opml'},'deezer' => {'icon' => '/static/images/icons/deezer.png','url' => '/api/deezer/v1/opml','title' => 'PLUGIN_DEEZER_MODULE_NAME','home_menu' => 1,'plugin' => 'Slim::Plugin::Deezer::Plugin','type' => 'opml'},'nonsn_spotty' => {'plugin' => 'Plugins::Spotty::Plugin'},'radiotime' => {'url' => 'http://opml.radiotime.com/Index.aspx?username=kidhazy&partnerId=16','icon' => '/static/images/icons/tuneinradio.png','type' => 'opml','home_menu' => 0,'title' => 'PLUGIN_RADIOTIME_MODULE_NAME'},'nonsn_lastmix' => {'plugin' => 'Plugins::LastMix::Plugin'}}, 'server::alarms' => {}, kidhazy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42259 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109113 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
