Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
For quite a long time I`ve got an issue with iPeng and playback on my iPad. It sometimes happens, that the volume changes out of nothing. Just listening for some time and the iOS volume info appears on screen and volume changes. Really often this happens few seconds after I have changed volume manually, so I have to do it again. Any idea what causes this? There is no problem, when using Squeezepad on the same iPad. No, this is in reference to the *menu* that is produced from the *more* button. In this case, there is the delete and clear all - in others (e.g. track info) there is much more. Material does not know what is in the "more" menu until it is opened. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I have an issue when I am using material/mobile as a Chrome-based app on my phone running Android 10. When using the search option in either Spotty or Qobuz, once I begin typing in the search field the URL bar appears and I get the notification: "Your connection to this site is not secure." I don't see how to rid myself of the URL bar with this useless notification unless I refresh the page. This makes running material/mobile as Chrome browser app somewhat pointless. I note however that Opera does not exhibit this behavior, so that is an option if anyone is interested. I am wondering if there is something that can be done to avoid triggering this behavior in Chrome? I don't expect there is - just thought I would ask. *Living Room:* SB Touch + DIY PSU > CI Audio VDA.2 DAC + VAC.1 PSU > VRX.1 cables > Emotiva XSP-1 Gen 2 preamp + XPA-DR2 amp > Blue Jeans cables > B 804 speakers *Laptop:* System76 Galago + Ubuntu 16.04 + Squeezelite + Material Skin > ifi USB iSilencer > Audirect Beam DAC > Senn IE 80 earbuds *Bedroom:* Pixel 3a Phone + SB Player + Material/mobile > Bose SoundLink Revolve *Server:* Puget Systems Serenity + Ubuntu 18.04 + LMS 7.9.2 *Music:* Personal FLAC, Radio Paradise FLAC, Qobuz, Spotify Ron F.'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5616 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

How is that 'worse'??? It's the same as before. Previously if a menu only had one entry, I just showed that action. For consistency, and to speed up large lists, I changed it to always show a menu icon. I -could- revert that, and you would just have the "more" action (the three dots in a circle) and not the menu button (the vertical dots) . This would only save you 1 click though. Placing the contents of the "More" into a popup menu itself is not really feasible, as there can be a lot of items. Battery went empty and when I plugged the Arena back to the power socket it didn't show up anymore as a player in LMS. Since then I did numerous times: 1) i) de-install Airplay Bridge in LMS ii) re-install Airplay Bridge in LMS 2) i) de-install Airplay Bridge in LMS ii) reset the Arena; then set it up in Google Home (as described in their "'Quick Start Guide' (https://rivanew-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/RIVA-QSG-2017-ENG.pdf)") iii) re-install Airplay Bridge in LMS 3) i) de-install Airplay Bridge in LMS ii) reset the Arena; then set it up with Airplay (also mentioned in the "Guide") iii) re-install Airplay Bridge in LMS But whatever I do the Arena won't be shown in the list of players in the config file. 28359 Would really apprecciate if somebody could give me a hint what needs to be done.
