Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] is squeezelite a "memory" player...
My startup for squeezelite is "/bin/squeezelite -m 28:24:ff:1a:0b:7b -d all=info -b 2:50 -C 3 -o default:CARD=X20 -n squeeze -f /tmp/sqlog -z" running on Linux Using "nmon" I could clearly see the loopback adapter would be busy at ~60MB per second for about a second at the start of a track in an album. Monitoring via nmon during playback (once a track was loaded into squeezelite buffers during the first of second playback for any specific track) showed there was no subsequent disk activity or loopback adapter activity. So clearly, with a reasonable buffer size, LMS/squeezelite will load a track into the squeezelite buffers in its entirety. Below we see the the loopback adapter busy in the 1st second of playback. +---+ |Filename: slim.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=28503| +---+ posnos's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62955 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Synology 7.9.2 packages
Currently I'm testing LmsRepack again to run on my server next to LmsUpdate/ Logitech Media Server. As some of you might know, LmsRepack once was brought to life to make it available via the Package Center. This way you can install LmsRepack as any other package and Package Center will notify you when an update is available. If you want to test LmsRepack, please do! Some feedback would be nice :) A few things to know before you start: - LmsRepack will not use you current settings, library nor plugins of LmsUpdate or Logitech Media Server. So, you'll start with a clean install! - If you have LmsUpdate or Logitech Media Server running: STOP IT, before installing LmsRepack. You DON'T have to remove it! You can leave both installed on your server as long as only 1 service is running! - Add 'Location' https://pinkdot.myds.me/sspks/ to the Package Sources in Package Center settings. 'Name' can be set to anything. After adding the location refresh Package Center and LmsRepack will appear under 'Community'. - Port 9000 is used for LmsRepack (instead of 9002). - You can remove LmsRepack just like any other package using the Package Center. - Yes, it's only available for X86_64 nas! [SlimDevices: Plugins] Remote control does not start KidsPlay macros
Hi there, I'm using a logitech harmony to control my equipment. Everything works great, exept for one thing: When there's a kidsplay macro defined for a preset button (1 to 6) on my Boom, the remote can't start this macro. The Boom just says "No preset defined". (It works fine, when the preset button is configured directly on the Boom, e.g. by pressing it longer and saving the actual playing song.) Is there a solution for that? Issue #184 - For consistency, when showing an artist's albums from 'More' don't show artist name as subtitle. - Fix queue corruption of using 3 line elements and have more than 200 entries. - If replacing new-lines with 'br' tag, then treat text as HTML. Fixes display of embedded lyrics. - In mobile layout, if click link in queue then switch to browse view. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
