I am unused to Shortcuts. A more detailed look revealed that the WOL app has an action to send the packet, which is all I need. On first lookI only found the option to open the app. danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Thanks to all for the advice. I have now created an iPhone shortcut that does the following: Opens a WOL app. Waits a while, Opens Material skin. During the waiting period I can manually get the WOL app to send the wake command. I would really like to do without the manual action. I wonder if any app would allow a shortcut that opens the wake-on-LAN app and automatically sends the wake command. I'll ask this in some of the Mac forums, as it is very specific to iPhone. danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Still Trying to Port LMS Playlist Real-Time to Winamp. Any Ideas?
I've posted about this a couple of times, and months later still haven't found a solution. I am trying to get an online radio station going (via Live365) and want to use Spicefly Sugarcube in combination with the old SqrSoft crossfading plug-in of 20+ years ago. I was able to use the UPnP/DLNA bridge to get the Foobar2k version of the plug-in going in combination, but it just doesn't work as well as the old one - not only are there less controls, but it won't crossfade anything less than :12, which is a real deal-breaker as it affects pacing. (I have a bunch of jingles and such.) I'd posted here a while back asking if anybody was interested and qualified to write a DLNA Renderer plug-in for Winamp, with no responses. The old Winamp forum, which I logged into the other day for the first time in 18 years, apparently is no longer accepting new posts so I wasn't able to ask there. I've wondered if it's possible to have something written that could load the old output plug-in via Squeezelite/Local Player, so that it is just directly connected to that without having to use the bridge, bypassing Winamp completely. In theory this is the cleanest solution, but I have no idea if it's possible. I reached out to Triode privately asking, but if anybody here thinks they could pull this off, let me know. The plug-in itself is just a DLL file with an accompanying INI file. The only other solution I can think of is using Powershell to monitor LMS' M3U file and pass information as it is added to Winamp using the command prompt, but so far nobody's attempts have actually worked although on paper they should...but as I have a custom LMS plug-in that inserts the jingles and commercials in between the next-to-last and last tracks, it can't just do this in real time as both (A) it needs to watch for the last track, wait about 10 seconds for more tracks to be added, then (B) insert the entire string. This isn't ideal and is a dicey solution but might be the only way. Any ideas are appreciated...and no, the stream function won't work as the whole idea is to use the crossfader, so the tracks have to go individually, and in advance enough that the fader can capture them soon enough. I won't keep posting here about this if there's no solution, but I can't help think given there are a few ways it -might- work that somebody might have an epiphany...I will pay you if you can figure this out and it works! typecrazy789's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68049 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114957 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Last.fm scrobbling from LMS with no Internet
These devices are, in general, used to set the date/time in the operating system. So, once it is working, it would be used by LMS etc without having to do anything else. The challenge is that pCP uses piCore which is a specialised operating system and does not have everything in it that some applications/ developers expect. The instructions at https://docs.macetech.com/doku.php/chronopi show that the one you found uses i2c so one thing to watch for is something else (like an audio board) trying to do the same thing. If this is a server only (not a player) then that issue would not arise. If no-one here says that they already have it working then maybe the supplier can do a quick test themselves or agree a no cost return if it does nor work with pCP. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I've just installed Material Skin on my iPhone. Looks nice. I'm wondering if there is a clever way to do one thing I want. My LMS runs on my Mac Mini (using Big Sur). If the Mac is asleep then using the power button on the remote wakes up the server and connects. If I am using the iPhone, I suppose I can use an app like Fing to wake up the Mac, and then switch to Material Skin on Safari to control LMS. But is there any way to avoid having to use first one app (Fing) and then another (Safari)? danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Hello, I have the following problem with the UPNP bridge: Within the first few seconds of playing a track, I always hear a slight crack. The client is KEF LS50 Wireless II and I mostly stream from Qobuz. Anyone who had a similar problem and found a solution? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Last.fm scrobbling from LMS with no Internet
Looking at things another way. Install What Was That Tune which will give you a record of what you play even when offline. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Last.fm scrobbling from LMS with no Internet
I dont think the RPi will get the date/time from the Android phone without some sort of helper. However, adding a battery backed up RTC to the RPi is relatively cheap and very easy (unless it is competing for GPIO pins). https://www.adafruit.com/product/3386 Might need some work to have it running on pCP.
