OK, I've now tried with just a single player attached (SB receiver from duet), and chromecast+upnp bridges disabled as well in case they were interfering. Also confirming that firewalld is not running on server, so shouldn't be blocking discovery (and discovery works fine im other cases eg SB Player for Android). I could do am nmap scan if it helps? agt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70783 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114611 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty 4.7.0
I didn't see another 4.7 thread, so I'm asking here. I use a mixture of hardware SBs and some linux squeezelite players in my home setup, all synced with the Group plugin in one group. Every player is hardwired in my home network. Most of my listening is through Spotty. All Connect features are off in LMS. When using Spotty, playback will always start with one of my linux (piCorePlayer) players first, and the hardware SBs catch up after about a second into the song. This doesn't happen with local music. I played with some of the sync settings for the piCorePlayer, but that didn't address the early start and made the sync worse overall. Any idea where I can look to sort this out? maddymarc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8233 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115592 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Great that some of it's making sense - both on the auto-discover and the excessive-player-count front: there's nothing worse than an inscrutable problem you can't replicate. When I get home I'll try turning all but one off player and see what happens. If it succeeds I'll bring them up one at a time and send the logs up. agt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70783 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114611 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

How about that? I'm happy for "RadioFeeds" to win, if you like. :-) .The RadioPlayer API does provide the official feeds plus whatever metadata the station wants to expose through their api. Also, of course, the listen again shows are available that the station wants to provide, so I find it useful. It was also quick and easy to write, I had it hanging around, so I thought I'd make it available. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty 4.7.0
So what are the recommended settings for Spotty under Advanced>File Types? It's recommended not to touch those settings. But if there's a problem streaming, then it's sometimes worth trying differently. Ogg direct is preferred overall, as it's the least processing involved. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The "server" with LMS uses the lms-plugin "Server Power Control" and after 35 mins idle time the system goes into hybernate mode with this command: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /C start /B scpowertool.exe --hibernate -q "--log=C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\Logs\srvrpowerctrl.log" Dentaku's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41398 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce - Song info plugin for FIP radio
Hi Paul, First I would say that RadioFrance plugin is a very fantastic plugin, thank you !!! Since a week, I noticed that names of songs did not more appear, and I was about to post my logs showing my opinion on the error ;-). (I see in the RadioFrance logs that the $VAR1 record was completely empty, and I suspect that the api pull did not work anymore...). Then I saw your yesterday post :) Now, thank to your modifications, the RadioFrance plugin have come back to fine. Thank you again for the work ! [SlimDevices: Plugins] TrackStat with LMS ver >8.0
I am using TrackStat plugin with LMC ver 7.9. I would like to upgrade my LMS to 8.x but Erland has advised that his plug-ins are unsupported in LMS>8.x as below. https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?114393-Repository-List=1019801#post1019801 I'm concerned I will break my LMS if I go to Ver 8.x and keep using TrackStat. Is anybody sucessfully using Ver 8.x with TrackStat? Or do I need to delete TrackStat plugin and move on?
