Splendid, we even get the remaining time for the current song ! So great ! Thank you so much ! I think this last version doesn't deal correctly with BelRTL anymore (http://belrtl.ice.infomaniak.ch:80/belrtl-mp3-192). Hej there, are there any known issues with the plugin's version on RaspberryPiOS 64bit when using avahi-publish-service indstead of the built-in mdns helper? When I have the avahi-daemon package installed the binary helpers do not show up in my iPhone. When I purge the packages "avahi-daemon" and "avahi-utils" everything works well. Only difference then: shairtunes announces via the built-in mdns helper... The dragging issue is probably related to the browser engine. When dragging I get the 'x coordinates' - this is different for mouse and touch events. The current code just uses the mouse event settings, and i guess some browsers set this. I've updated the code, for the next release, to use the mouse x coord, but then try the touch coords if this fails. *Material debug:* 1. I've used samba for several years but after trying WinSCP, the synchronize feature alone makes it a handy tool to updating my music files. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
My guess is that this is a networking problem that is because of the OpenVPN connection. UPnP-AV devices and players discover each other via UDP broadcast messages. I expect that when the plugin is restarted it sends out a broadcast message to announce its presence. However, I would also expect it to send one out periodically. Perhaps that period is too long to be useful in your set-up. In theory the player should also send out a message to announce its presence ... but perhaps OpenVPN is not relaying that though to the internal network. Telling the player the IP address of the UPnP server gets around the issue. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
My apologies if I am posting in the wrong thread, if so a link to a more correct thread would be appreciated. I am not using the UPNP bridge for this issue, just connecting through UPNP. I use the app USBAudioPlayerPro on my Google Pixel 3A. Using the UPNP/DLNA server connection on USBAPP connects immediately to the LMS (running on piCorePlayer) when I am on wifi connected to my home network. No issues when I am home on wifi When I am out of the house, I use OpenVPN (VPN is running on my Netgear Router) to connect to my home network. Wifi is turned off on the phone, I am using Verizon Data. USBAudioPlayerPro cannot 'find' my LMS server unless I _restart_ LMS. As soon as I restart LMS, USBAPP connects. This only happens when I am using VPN. I can connect using the 'Network' option on USBAPP without having to fiddle with restarting LMS. I am not sure if this is an issue with Google Pixel, USBAudioPlayerPro, or LMS. I am suspecting USBAudioPlayerPro, as there are other flukey things that I have to do with other options, but perhaps there is something simple on the LMS side that I have overlooked. I'll eventually contact the development team for USBAPP as I have done in the past with some other minor questions, but I thought that I would start here to eliminate the obvious. Thanks! I can supply any logs, etc. needed to analyze this if necessary. stereoptic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53162 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103728 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I had done this before, with my first approaches. With SMB1 reenabled in Win10, the machine was able to identify the \\SERVER\share path, with registry key changed it could connect. Then, I was able to map a drive letter to it. But as noted previous, even after this procedure the limited storage capacity had occured. I must have switched a lever somewhere some time throughout this torture. For now I am hesitant to adjust the gears, because I have what I wanted, albeit with a somewhat insecure arrangement. In April I will change something in the Pi, will upgrade the temporary transport, and then I might dare to mess things up again. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SMB share only giving me ~1GB out of 931GB Win10 <-> RPi4 pCP
I am definitely out of my element where this discussion has led, however two thing have me curious- I have only "created a network location" (per Greg's how tos) on win10 to Samba and two errors can occur "you don't have permission" which is a un and pw issue, and "could not find" which has always been a syntax problem in the server/share entry in pcp Samba section. I do know it's case sensitive, but \\MUSIC\music, could this (same "name") possibly be a weird trip point? ASCII/Unicode says no, butI have gotten so frustrated I named them \\XXX\YYY just to see if I could get it to work, then changed it after The discussion is around "mapping a drive" which is different from creating a network location, basically assigning a drive letter (right?). I did not know you could do for a network location (but would be beneficial for me). Do you have to have the network location established first? something strange is definitely at play here, but @sheepie says he tried a thumb drive and windows "could not find the mounted share". That has always been syntax in my experience Again, there is allot better advice than I can give here, I'll step back into the shadows... [SlimDevices: Plugins] No clocks on jivelite m2p when in grid skin
Hi all, I have a max2play build on a pi3b, with the official 7" rpitouch screen. When I select the grid skin (800 x 480), none of the screen saver clocks work. I have tried using the m2p pre-compiled version and the latest version (both via m2p web browser). If I use the joggler or the WQVGAsmall skins, the clocks work. The clock does work if I have joggler skin selected initially and then change to grid skin, but only until I reboot, at which point it stops. I have tried fresh installs. Can anyone perhaps provide a bit of help to get clocks working on grid skin? Secondly, when using the joggler skin and using the dotmatrix clock, the clock wallpaper does not fill the screen (although resolution of the png is 800x480). Again any thoughts as to why it doesnt fill the screen? It's worth noting that when running picoreplayer on the above setup, the clocks work when using grid skin and also the dot matrix clock fills the screen. I am mostly sure that we yesterday entered the IP address too. Without the changed registry key it didnt work. But I might be wrong. Anyway, I do not dare to touch the config atm, because it finally kind of does what it should and I do not want to loose it. sheeple's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72502 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116037 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

As you want to use MusicBee on PC it is definitely worth mapping the Network drive as say M:\music Then you can point MusicBee to always use M:\music as its music location Jim https://jukeradio.double6.net VB2.4 STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) Living Room* Joggler & Pi4/Khadas -> Onkyo TXNR686 -> Celestion F20s *Office* Joggler & Pi3 -> Denon RCD N8 -> Celestion F10s *Dining Room* SB Radio *Bedroom (Bedside)* Pi Zero+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV) & Bathroom* SB Touch ->Denon AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s + Kef ceiling speakers *Guest Room* Joggler > Topping Amp -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116037 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

He did not type \\Ip-address and that is the issue. He referenced by server name \\Music which will only ever work after Windows has discovered the server somehow. To the OP Read as I said earlier. The Pi will not appear under Network. You must map a drive or open in Windows Explorer using IP Address not name - \\ip-address. I just tested the SAMBA install as per "'Add a USB hard drive and setup SAMBA' (https://docs.picoreplayer.org/how-to/add_usb_hdd/)" instructions and it seems to work as expected. The fact you need to map a drive or type \\ip_address into Windows explorer is not an issue.
