Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: LMS Connect - streaming Tidal/Qobuz to LMS via native Android apps
New to Deezer from Spotify (Spotty on LMS) The Deezer plugin works fine but missing the "Made For You" playlist links. Any chance this can be added? Sorry if asked already. If so, please point me to the relevant answer. @mherger love your work! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
Nevertheless, I suspect that geoblocking is in use here. I can't find the playlist from the cashofmoney account in any application. I get probably only users from Germany. But what I understand is that you can only add playlists as favorites in the native qobuz app and not in the plugin. I personally manage my favorites directly in qobuz and not via the plugin. Am very happy to be able to use qobuz with piCorePlayer at all. Many thanks for this to the developers who put time and energy into it. It solves the problem for me perfectly. Once again... If you use a Qobuz app for your phone or PC, you can indeed find the User Created Playlists by searching... And if you mark that Playlist as a Favorite (Or 'subscribe' to it) , it will now show up in the Qobuz Web Control under 'My Playlists'... And it will also show up in LMS under 'My Playlists' - Which is exactly what I was trying to accomplish. Well, for anyone following this problem..., here is a solution. You can search the Qobuz App on Android, iPhone, MAC or PC and search "Late Night Jazz", then select playlists... The Apps will return Public Playlists... then Subscribe to that playlist and it will show up in LMS as a Qobuz Favorite So this is the 'Work Around' as I'm, guessing you cannot mark the Playlist a Favorite within LMS ?? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty and socketwrapper 1.12beta
pupvogel wrote: > Here is another log-combo, this time with Mixcloud-logging set to > debug. > Doesn't add too much info, though... Yes - looks like Mixcloud has no relevant logging and would need to be modified to tge the data. Bugs in socketwrapper usually result in loss of data at start or the very end. When a stream stops mid stream - the problem can be buffering and sizes of buffers in player and network timeouts in the source. socketwrapper was written many many years ago when to overcome a Perl/Windows shortcoming. Processors were single core and player had small buffer and streams were only slow. LMS could only relay small amounts of data. Many changes since then. Processors have multi core so race conditions may occur. Since Win 10, a bit of Windows internal scheduling has changed - so windows doesn't quite behave as it used to. To cope with network reset when streaming large podcasts (i.e. multimegabyte files) which didn;t like keeping networkj connection open while player played audio in realtime - LMS now has various buffering mechanisms. Some players (e.g. squeezelite) can now very large internal buffers which means huge demand for audio data at beginning and then nothing for the last section. Squeezelite can also play more formats so transcode doesn't happen so offering squeezelite players as a baseline example is not applicable. My first inclination is to understand how data is being buffered in this stream - from mixcloud through LMS and transcode chain into a player. However clarification is needed. You seem to indicate the problem as happens with Squeezlite-X. If the problem happens with Squeezelite - squeezelite can play AAC native (as file is AAC codec in MPEG-4 format) so there should be no transcoding and no socketwrapper. Can you get a server.log of player.source when playing to Squeezelite-X bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116078 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

As P-Kay says, by searching for "Late Night Jazz - cashofmoney" you are adding a username (cashofmoney) to the playlist name "Late Night Jazz" but the Qobuz search doesn't recognise the addition of a user name. You would need to search for "Late Night Jazz" and then in the playlists that are returned by that search choose the one created by cashofmoney. I don't think you can search at all by user name, so searching for "cashofmoney" wouldn't work. coyrls's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44253 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97146 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty and socketwrapper 1.12beta
socketwrapper watchdog timer expires when no data has "moved" through the transcode chain within about 15 (maybe longer) seconds. The server.log seems to indicated that data has stopped arriving at transcode chain - more logging with timing is required to confirm this. However, there is something strange about your server.log - there are no timestamps on the entries - this is usually means the log conf file has been altered or corrupted. Please fix the log facility so that timings can be examined. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116078 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
cpd73 wrote: > Should be here, but I guess Squeezelite-X is hiding this option. Correct, SLX hides that option. Squeezelite-X, predated Material Skin and already had its own way of doing this for both skins. So I thought it was confusing to have both in play. I think the problem is related to Modern Standby, where the LMS server eventually believes the squeezelite player is gone because it stopped communicating. When the system leaves Modern Standby and "wakes up", Material Skin then believes the player is no longer there and chooses another, before the previously dormant squeezelite player is re-established on the LMS server. With the regular Standbye, I handle all this because I get notified of all the Power events. But in Modern Standby, I don't. I think I need to do some special registration calls to get these notifications, so I need to research that and see if I can solve. It is hard to figure out since I don't have a development machine that does Modern Standby. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty and socketwrapper 1.12beta
Hi, I attached server.log with player.source set to INFO. I've had the issue for quite some time now, it survived the Windows upgrade 10->11, a CPU change (Intel i7-3770T => i9-11900T) and the change from Avira to Avast. Problem occurs also when Avast is completely turned off. I _think_ the "2:30 WAV-thought" doesn't apply here, because different tracks stop much later. Unfortunately I can only test on Windows - in the github-thread I mentioned above, @kwarklabs said "the convert.conf line matched is correct, the transcoding you are seeing is expected behaviour and is unavoidable without switching operating system/hardware.". On their machine the transcoding goes mp4->aac which differs from the way it is done on Windows (mp4->faad->flac), as far as I understand Another weird thing just happens: a mix seems to play through on Squeezelite-X. It still doesn't on both hardware players, though (classic2 and boom). This must be related to changes in socketwrapper 1.12beta. +---+ |Filename: server.log | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=37698| +---+ pupvogel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38152 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116078 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Not sure if I am missing something but in the Qobuz App enter your search term and along the top are categories: "Releases Tracks Playlists Panoramas" etc, select "Playlists" and you will see a list of playlist that meet your search term. coyrls's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44253 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97146 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty and socketwrapper 1.12beta
Quick reaction - need time to look at log but also provide full system details - some socketwrapper issues happen with version of Windows, CPU type and also security s/w Anything that fails at 2:30 - usually means problem with WAV as that is the maximum frame count of a CD quality audio file. Also sanity check is needed - does the same issues happen on non Windows setup ? So full details of what is being tested LMS, Mixcloud stream so that it can be replicated. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116078 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty and socketwrapper 1.12beta
Hi guys, I am having trouble streaming using the Mixcloud-plugin, and it seems to be a Socketwrapper-issue. I just upgraded my socketwrapper.exe to the 1.12beta3-bpa that I found in this thread, but the problem is still there - I attached the output-log. When streaming long tracks, the music stops after a few minutes. Looks like this only occurs on Windows, because the conversion path is a little different than on other OSs. (Plugin-thread that lead me here: https://github.com/danielvijge/lms_mixcloud/issues/23) This one is a good example track, because it is over two hours long and the stop occurs quite quickly (at least on my machine) somewhere between 2min30 and 3min00: mixcloud://johndigweed/transitions-with-john-digweed-and-denney/ I hope someone can figure out what the problem is..? Thanks for your help !! +---+ |Filename: socketwrapperdebug.log | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=37696| +---+ pupvogel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38152 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116078 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Oh sorry, I'm out of there. But I actually can't find "Late Night Jazz - cashofmoney" via the native app either. I can only find playlists with "Late Night Jazz". I guess that "- cashofmoney" is a username and this can not be searched?
