Mine Touch is doing the same. I re-subscibed to Spotify and was impressed until this happened. Could it be a problem with using the Touch with a more modern router? I'm using win 10 and android. So is there one that does have track forward and back,a good volume control (if it's not my phone) and the ability to eject the USB device without having to use the touch controls on the SBT itself? It's being used in my car,so would be a godsend if it could be made a hide away and controlled entirely from my phone or an Android tablet. Oh and it's being used just as a music player with no radio etc. Chris.I really like Orange Squeeze. The developer is very active and listens if you have a problem. I don't use an usb card with my touch at home so don't know about the eject part. There is a free version I think but it's worth every penny once you get used to it. A +1 for dbpoweramp. So many uses that are perfect for Squeezebox owners. You can convert the actual tracks but not recommended unless you are just doing some music for a device that doesn't support RG. Much better to use tags. [SlimDevices: Plugins] NPR plugin
I've used this plugin for some time now and it has been fine. But now only about 25% of the links are working. I have no understanding as to why. I listened 3 days ago to one of the local channels and it worked fine but now all I get is the annoucement that it is a streaming channel. It seems that the handoff from the announcement to the channel is messing up. I love this addon and I hope it can be fixed. Any help would be great. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Problem with the Album Review plugin
It seems that the setting to ignore () is not working with 7.4 I add the year of the album to many of my albums (1994) for example and now on all of those it will not get an album review. I've tried it after getting rid of the year and it works fine so I guess the setting to ignore that isn't working correctly now. Not a huge deal, well actually it is for me if I want to use it and I do really like being able to bring up a review on my sb3 every once in a while, but not earth shattering or anything. I really like the biography and album review plugins so I hope this can be fixed. I'm trying to make use of some of the more advanced features of Spicefly but having some problems finding more in depth info. I'd like to know how filters work. Some filter examples would really help. Recipe's seem like filters, are they? Can you add more? If so how do you do this? mr_hyde;416407 Wrote: Hi NR, some things depend on your system. recipes seem to work only on windows systems. I have the Qnap 439 which is linux based. Nevertheless, i have also installed the GUI on my windows PC. There i scan the music and archive the fingerprints, since it is faster than on the NAS. I also defined filters on the GUI and copied the database to the NAS. Then the filters are also available there, since they can only be defined on the GUI. For my filters, it is essential to use also trackstat and custom scan plugin. I have rated all my titles with trackstat and custom scan transfers the ratings and last played information to the mip database. One of my filters selects only titles with more or equal 3 stars and that are not played within the last three days. This works well, if you select the filter via musicip or spicefly plugin. In the recipes, you could do even more. Regarding the ratings, you could define a ratio between 5,4 and three star ratings for instance (this recipe is called Use Ratings). Nevertheless, this recipe is probably not usefull for spicefly, since it takes only one song out of the mip playlist. So am I right about how the filters work? Do you save them to a specific folder or does musicip have a default that works with SC? I'm not sure I really want to get into ratings. I have over 20k in tracks and no ratings. I think it would be way too much hassle to try and rate them. mr_hyde;416418 Wrote: If you have a windows system (SC and MIP on the same system nad accessing the same mip database), it should be ok, that you setup the filters in the gui. then they are stored in the mip database and you are able to select them in SC. This should probably also work with a linux pc when the gui is working. If you have a NAS, you have to perform a little trick the enable the filters, since you can set up them only via the gui which is usually not working on the NAS. Yes I'm on XP, sorry I forgot to add that last time. I've played around with a few filters and kind of get it although I couldn't get the bit rate one to work right. I think SS starts out with the same screensaver in each slot, e.g. When Off has Date and Time in every slot, with some duration specified for #1 but the rest manual; When Playing has Now Playing in all slots, etc. You only need to concern yourself with the screensavers that have specific durations, and those you intend to use with button control. For instance, I don't use a When Idle screensaver, so on my system I don't bother with the SS slots for that. But for the others I do, even though I normally only use two timed/active savers for When Playing, and only one for When Off.Ok that what was messing me up. There were no screensavers showing up in the slots, just times. I figured that it should show a screensaver and then you would set what you want.
