Nothing major but over the last couple of weeks, it seems that accessing Qobuz categories is slower than before. I get the waiting arrow from Material skin for 3 sec before reaching a specific category. if i am getting back to the same category right after, it is cached and therefore straight access. Hi there, Speaking of Dropouts, I am not 100% sure I understand how LMS is managing Qobuz Hi-Res files and players. E.g a Transporter and a Boom, have set up the Qobuz plugin to stream FLAC hi-res 24bits/96kHz. Is that correct to say that the stream would play natively on the Transporter and would be converted on the fly by the server for the Boom? Right now, depending of stream properties, I see issues on my Boom or Radio for files above 2500Kbps (audio is suttered or there is buffering on some files). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.5.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I am on Qobuz, but was curious and took a 3 months subscription to Spotify just to test Spotty :-). I must say I definitely prefer the sound quality of Qobuz (when is Spotify going to launch their Hifi service?) but I do LOVE Spotty and Spotify music selections/playlists. Great work :-) Is there any Qobuz Connect on which a similiar plugin could be created. It's very convenient to use the native interface from a streaming service. Cheers! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: LMS Controls - Google Home / Google Assistant Voice Control of LMS Players
Wow, discovering this thread. Thanks for your great work. I really need to test this as soon as I find some time. To be honest, voice control via Google Home or Alexa is definitely something missing from my Squeezebox experience. This, the LMS web interface and integration with some of the online services show that our beloved Squeezebox setup is getting a tiny bit behind other proposals. But I am still in love with it. Do you think that your approach could be integrated as a plugin to the Max2Play experience so it would be easy to make it work ? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] What is Max2Play??
Max2Play is definitely a great platform, flexible and easy to use. I was also running LMS on Windows for more then 10years, having a computer running 24/7. Now, I am on Raspi3+Max2Play+LMS: easy, nice performance and I also have Airplay running like a charm on all my 8 players. Great job! I am trying to get Sirius working on SB for an American friend living in Belgium. Apparently, I can't installed the official Sirius plugin as I am located in Europe. I've installed the Not So plugin, I get the Sirius radio listing but can't get the stream (Unauthorized...). Does anyone have a clue what to do? Is it possible to play Sirius on SB from Europe? [SlimDevices: Plugins] IR Blaster / Controller
I've just received my Controller and have a small problem with the IR Blaster plugin regarding the volume function sent to my amp. When I press the volume up button, the volume goes up. But if I want straight to to put the volume down, the volume carries on to go up. I have to stop pressing the button down and pressing it again to make it going down. I don't have this problem with the standard SB3 remote. How can I resolve this ? Thx again for the great job...
