I just tried playing Gates Of Delirium to a Touch from the Windows Spotify app instead of Android and pausing caused the Spotify time to jump to 17 minutes 36 seconds out of 21 minutes 49 seconds total length. Resuming caused LMS to jump forward to 17:36 so same behaviour. To summarise what I am seeing. When using Connect pausing does seem to work for short tracks in that playback does pause and resume correctly and the correct track times are displayed in LMS. Seeking within a track also works in Connect. The only issue is the time bar in the Spotify app jumps to the end of the track and stays there while the time still increases beyond the maximum track time. The situation is different for long tracks. In this case the track time bar jumps forward when pausing in the Spotify app, but it doesn't jump to the end. I just tried playing "Gates Of Delirium" from Yes-Relayer. Pausing caused the time bar in Spotify to jump forward to around 7 minutes 36 seconds while the time in LMS was 7 seconds. Here is another longer log which also features the volume setting to 49% issue. It starts after updating to the latest LMS 8.3. It was too big to upload without zipping. I see that those changes come in for a player called "UpMpd-UPnP/AV". Almost there, thankyou. :) The behaviour I see now is if you pause a track in the Spotify app when using Connect it jumps forward . lets say a minute but no fixed amount, if it does not jump to the end of the track then pressing play again will indeed resume playback from the jumped to position. This did not happen previously, you had to move on to the next track. I tested this on a Windows LMS as well as my usual Pi4 and in both cases the track progress in the Spotify app jumps to the end (for normal length tracks) when paused. I'm using a setup with LMS 8.2 on Raspberry PI 4 4GB and some squeeze players running on different platforms (Raspberry Pi 4, Zero, Mac). For Spotify I prefer to use the native Spotify App, but the pause / play controls in the app are not working properly for the connected squeeze players. When I klick pause, the music pauses but the progress bar jumps far ahead. When I klick play again, nothing happens. I have to jump to the next song and back to make it play again. This behavior occurs only when using Spotify Connect and is the same wheather I use Spotify browser or desktop app, Adroid or iOS. Using Spotify inside LMS works fine. I'm not sure when the problem first occured, maybe after updating LMS to 8.2. I first recognised after installing the shairtunes2 plugin, but I'm not sure if that is the problem. I created a new installation of LMS 8.2 with piCorePlayer on another Raspberry and the behaviour is exactly the same. Does anyone have the same problem? Any ideas are very much apprechiated!
