Thanks Sjef, for arranging those great shows at Eindhoven! And thanks Bob, for letting us know. Re: [Ql-Users] Sjef vd Molengraaf
This is very sad news indeed. At Eindhoven I also showed the first Q40 before it had any operating system, and later the first public appearance with QDOS Classic. It was there where Tony Tebby approved my machine and agreed to port SMSQ/E. The Eindhoven meetings in the middle between England and Germany were classic events that will long be remembered. Thank you Sjef van de Molengraaf! The international QL community owes him a lot. Tony Tebby, Nasta, Jochen Merz, Tony Firshman, Laurence Reeves and many other QL VIPs, without Sjef there wouldn't have been such great opportunities to meet them. May he rest in peace. Thank you for letting us know, Bob. I met Sjef at one of the Eindhoven meetings many years ago, and corresponded with him from time to time. His contribution to the Dutch QL scene will be fondly remembered by many I am sure. Re: [Ql-Users] Quanta eMag
Hi Derek, I have the same problem with the magazines. I thought it was because I could not pay QUANTA subscription for some time. QUANTA had difficulties to tell their bank account information. I paid in January. Maybe it is because of Lee Privett passing, which we all understand. Re: [Ql-Users] Quanta eMag
I’ll be upset if it isn’t. I just recently paid to renew for 3 years. However, they have my utmost understanding. The magazine editor did recently pass away. I’d be happy to write a couple of things too. Hi, Has anyone received the recent Quanta eMags, the last one I received in October/November 2017. My subscription is in date. I tried to email John Southern, but no reply, where he asked me to do an article on the Q68. Is Quanta still running? -- Regards, Derek ___ QL-Users Mailing List
