Just thinking

I will actually be in Edinburgh later this month, so could collect some
pieces then... 16th to the 19th..

Can also make a donation to charity in Georges name. Would like to have
something belonging to him.

Hi Richard,

I don't have a Q60, so would be more than willing to pay postage to have it

Maybe some other items too... A QL with Trump card and some of Georges
floppies etc found be nice.

Let me know if willing to post them. Certainly don't dump any of it.

The QXL software (SMSQ/E) is available from Dilwyns website too, directly
underneath the manual download...on the link I posted earlier. It's 153k in
size.

After that, there's tons of freeware available on Dilwyns site too.

You likely got confused with the Q40 and Q60. You definitely have a QXL.

Yes, it's definitely a QXL card... made by the late Stuart Honeyball of
Miracle Systems.

The ports are for the QL network as Graeme said... to connect to other QXLs
or standard QLs. A standard 3.5mm double ended jack cable is used.

The full manual is available free online at Dilwyns site, under the
documentation section.

You'll find lots of familiar faces, and generally instant responses,
including videos and photographs.

The group is now called "Sinclair QL for everyone" and is free to join.

2018-02-20 Thread Darren Branagh via Ql-Users
Hi Guys,

Please feel free to distribute how you wish, as long as Steve and myself as
credited.

Urs has already put a few of the interviews on his channel some time ago in
reduced quality, but this is the first time its been available in its
entirety as originally distributed and in DVD quality, including the menus
and slide information, which were done on a rostrum camera at london post.
Im really glad Dilwyn took the time to upload it, as it needs to be seen to
appreciate it...Its really quite a professional job if you see it as it was
intended. I learned a lot about DVD and video production making it, and
luckily we had access to some top notch equipment at the time otherwise it
would never have happened.

Im rather proud of it, Particularly the interview with Bill Richardson who
has since sadly passed away.

Hi Daniel,

Have you released any of your updates yet?

Just wondering if they can be tested.

2017-06-05 Thread Darren Branagh via Ql-Users
Very upset to hear this...Bill was and is a good friend and it's awful to
hear of a man so hands on and technical in many respects, not recognising
his own wife. Alzheimer's is an awful thing to go through, for all
concerned.

Again, send him our very best John.
