Depends on which of the two figures (50 or 5) you mean with "same".

I'm a bit late here, but that is really sad news. I remember the
Eindhoven meetings fondly.

Last weekend I was at the German ZX81/Spektrum meeting and that was
very well visited (50 people or so) and was a reminiscence of the
bigger QL events like Eindhoven in the past. Unfortunatelly there were
only 5 QLers in attendance, including me. I wish there was a similar
QL meeting, but probably it wouldn't have the same attendance anyway.

All the best, Marcel

As long time secretary of the Dutch SIN_QL_AIR foundation he will be
remembered by many international QL'ers. He was the driving force
behind many great Eindhoven meetings during the 90's and later, until
they ended in October 2008.
He seldom posted on this list but it kept him informed of what was

Very sad news. I remember him well, waiting with a cup of coffee and a
box of floppies to get updates/upgrades at Jochen's table.

Rust in vrede, vriend. (Dutch for rest in peace).

Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks Sjef, for arranging those great shows at Eindhoven!
And thanks Bob, for letting us know.

This is very sad news indeed. At Eindhoven I also showed the first Q40
before it had any operating system, and later the first public
appearance with QDOS Classic. It was there where Tony Tebby approved my
machine and agreed to port SMSQ/E. The Eindhoven meetings in the middle
between England and Germany were classic events that will long be
remembered. Thank you Sjef van de Molengraaf!

Very sad to read this :(
I still got Christmas wishes from him every year.
The international QL community owes him a lot. Tony Tebby, Nasta, Jochen
Merz, Tony Firshman, Laurence Reeves and many other QL VIPs, without Sjef
there wouldn't have been such great opportunities to meet them.

May he rest in peace.

Jan Bredenbeek.

Thank you for letting us know, Bob.

I met Sjef at one of the Eindhoven meetings many years ago, and corresponded
with him from time to time.

His contribution to the Dutch QL scene will be fondly remembered by many I
am sure.
