If you're already using a computer all day, I don't really think it is an
advantage. My understanding is it's the mobility of the device that makes
it appealing.

The reason I am probably going to be buying a Kindel shortly is because I
can read at my desk and later when I get my laptray I might be able to read
when I go to an appointment or in waiting on someone.

Thank you so much Billy. Right now I'm reading some books I have in my
office, using some book stands I had built, but I'm definitely leaning
towards buying the Kindle very shortly.

What I need to figure out is how I can get a lap tray that will enable me to
turn the pages on the Kindle using a mouthstick. I do have several small
portable book holder's printer in before I had these new book stands built.

I highly recommend getting a Kindle. Even if you don't buy books from

Kindle has a program which allows you to read Kindle books on your

Oh, one other thing the pages of the books on the Kindle do not
correspond with the pages in a book. They use location numbers as reference

you're reading, even though the Kindle will open the book you are reading to

I think a lot of things could be handled locally, Paul, a

who's handicapped, it might be reasonable to let him have an office
