The randpool thing is just a warning from a third party library. You can
ignore it. It shouldn't cause any problems, and is something we have no
control over.

The lines in red are harmless as well. Doing a database upgrade causes those
to print, and then we apply the evolution for you, so you don't have to do
anything.

Re: How to use post-review with a private GitHub repository?

2010-09-29 Thread Gustavo Narea
Hello, Christian.

Thank you very much for your response.

Yes, I configured the repository the way you said. But I just noticed
that the problem was that Review Board wasn't generating the right
raw file URL mask for organization accounts. I had to change it
from:

http://github.com/api/v2/yaml/blob/show/ORGANIZATION/PROJECT/revision?login=ORGANIZATIONtoken=MY_API_TOKEN

to:

http://github.com/api/v2/yaml/blob/show/ORGANIZATION/PROJECT/revision?login=MEtoken=MY_API_TOKEN

Even though I had set the username to ME in the form.

However, it's still not working and I think this time it's a bug:

Re: Manual server updates required: Install GNU Patch problem after installation on Windows/Apache

2010-09-29 Thread Ian
Have insalled memcached and restarted apache afterward. It made no
difference.

 Thanks Tim.

I have followed your advice as closely as I can, though our setups
 differ slightly:

 * I did not install memcached (maybe this is my problem?)
 * I am using SQL lite
 * I am using Python 2.5

So here's what I did do after reading your post:

 * GNU Patch originally installed itself at C:\Program Files
(x86)\GnuWin32 on my system. I copied it to C:\GnuWin32 to mirror
your setup in case the spaces/path length were a problem.
 * I copied patch.exe to c:\windows\system32
 * I changed my system path to mimic yours as close as possible: c:
 \python25;C:\Python25\Scripts;c:\GnuWin32\bin;%SystemRoot%
 \system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem
 * I didn't add C:\PHP or C:\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\bin to the PATH
as I don't have these in my setup.

I then restarted apache and still the same problem. I then rebooted
 and still no good.

I am now thinking I should try installing memcached as this appears to
be the only significant difference between your system and mine. Will
update when I have tried this.

 Any other thoughts appreciated.

Subject: Manual server updates required: Install GNU Patch problem after
  installation on Windows/Apache

  Hi guys,

I see a number of people have had this issue but none of their
resolutions have helped me so I post again.

I have installed everything on Windows following the instructions and
all I see when I browse the site is Manual server updates required
and underneath that Install GNU patch.exe.

  * Patch is installed and I can run it from the command line.

  * It is on my system path.

  * I have tried changing Apache to run as myself so it has full
priveleges and this did not work

  * I have tried copying patch to Apache's bin folder, this did not
  work.

  * There are no logs in my RB installation dir. Apache has some logs
about Python version Python version mismatch, expected '2.5', found
'2.5.4'. but I'm not sure this is a serious issue.

  Can someone help me?

Re: Cannot see the SVN repositories in the combo when creating a request.

2010-09-29 Thread Didier Trosset
It's fixed. Someone messed around with the pysvn installation in the
directory /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/ . Simple as this!

Thanks to activating the logs (I didn't realize until very recently that
they need to be activated through the django AdminitstratorUI) I had
indications that helped me finding the cause of the issue.

Thanks anyway.

Most likely, you don't have the proper pysvn package installed. Make
sure the 'python-svn' Debian package is installed.

Re: Cannot see the SVN repositories in the combo when creating a request.

2010-09-29 Thread Didier Trosset

FYI, I do not see the Show this repository option that is told about
in the Manage Repositories documentation page. It looks like this
documentation is for 1.5rc. I had a look in the MySQL tables, there's no
such field in the corresponding table.

BTW, I'd be glad to test 1.5. Just don't know how to set it up.

Issue 1834 in reviewboard: GitHub support should accommodate GitHub Organizations

Labels: Type-Enhancement Priority-Medium

New issue 1834 by mike.d.conley: GitHub support should accommodate GitHub
Organizations

http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=1834

*NOTE: If you have a patch, please submit it to
http://reviews.reviewboard.org/

What version are you running?

1.5RC2

What's the URL of the page this enhancement relates to, if any?

http://github.com/blog/674-introducing-organizations

Describe the enhancement and the motivation for it.

On June 29th, 2010, GitHub introduced organizations for project
management. This changes the permission structure somewhat, and Review
Board's GitHub support doesn't let us use it.

What operating system are you using? What browser?

Ubuntu Lucid, Firefox 3.6

Please provide any additional information below.

We've got a workaround with a post-receive hook on GitHub causing a pull on
a server-local copy of the repository, so this isn't critical for us. Just
something you might want for the future.

Issue 1835 in reviewboard: Update Djblets' versions of jQuery and jQuery UI

New issue 1835 by ben.hollis: Update Djblets' versions of jQuery and jQuery

0.6.3

Djblets is using jQuery 1.3.2 and jQuery UI 1.6rc5. It'd be nice if it
could upgrade those packages in order to take advantage of the speed and
bugfixes of the jQuery 1.4.2 and jQuery UI 1.8.5 releases.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware of the new Organizations support, but
it looks very interesting.

So the GitHub hosting option in Review Board won't work with the
Organizations? The raw URL is basically incorrect I assume?

Do you have an organization I can look at that's public?

Issue 1836 in reviewboard: Comment flags appearing in wrong positions in the diff or not appearing at all.

New issue 1836 by sst...@mdtadvisers.com: Comment flags appearing in wrong

*NOTE: Do not post confidential information in this bug report.*

What version are you running?
1.0.5

What's the URL of the page containing the problem?
https://plapp01mdt:9444/r/568/#review207

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add a large number of comments to a large diff.
2. Publish the review.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

When I use the e-mail link to access the review and then view the diff, the
comment flags are moving to new locations each time I open the diff. Some
comment flags are not appearing at all. As you can see from the URL, we
have over 500 reviews in our system and we have 2000+ comments in the
system. This review had 22 comments in it.

What operating system are you using? What browser?
Windows XP. Internet Explorer 8.
