[rt-users] Click on Asset Types in Asset tracker ACLEquivalenceObjects error

2010-03-03 Thread Michael Neuschafer
Hey,

I just finished installing my Asset Tracker in RT but when I click on
Asset Types under configureation I get this below:

Can't locate object method ACLEquivalenceObjects via package
RTx::AssetTracker::System at
/opt/rt3/bin/../lib/RT/Principal_Overlay.pm line 327.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Thing is I don't even have a /opt/rt3/local/lib/RTx/AssetTracker/System.pm , I
don't even have a RTx in the lib directory.

[rt-users] Asset Tracker not installing. please help.

2010-03-02 Thread Michael Neuschafer
I been trying to install Asset Tracker for RT and I cant seem to get it
to work. When I got to run install make in the directory cd /opt/rt3
I get nothing and nothing is even in that directory but folders. I am
using RT 3.8.6. AT 1.2.4b1

I do this

./configure --with-rt-home=/opt/rt3 --with-rt-local=/opt/rt3
--with-rt-localhtml=/opt/rt3/share/html --with-db-admin=rtuser
--with-rt-group=rt3

And I get:

checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c

checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl

configure: creating ./config.status

config.status: creating Makefile

config.status: creating sbin/at-setup-database

config.status: creating sbin/at_factory

config.status: creating
etc/AssetTracker/upgrade/1.2.0/AT-1.0.x-to-1.2.0.pl

config.status: creating
etc/AssetTracker/upgrade/1.2.3/AT-1.2.0-to-1.2.3.pl

config.status: creating lib/RTx/AssetTracker.pm

Everything seems ok. Created the AssetTracker.pm

Then I do a :

o...@vmsvr13:~/1.2.4b1# cd /opt/rt3

r...@vmsvr13:/opt/rt3# make install

make: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop.

There is no files in the root of rt3 but folder. Was there a file that
was suppose to be created?

That's a good start. You might want to also look into your MySQL schema.
There is a slight possibility that large DB queries are causing this
issue. I forgot to ask, what RT version are you running?

[rt-users] RT::Extension::PriorityAsString stops working when adding another PLugin.

2010-02-12 Thread Michael Neuschafer
Anytime I add any new @Plugins in the RT site config it causes my

than Low, Medium, High. Anybody know what can cause this? The new
plugin will work but not my RT::Extension::PriorityAsString. Please
help.

RT_SiteConfig.pm - I want the PLugin Extension MandatorySubject to work

working and shows numbers rather than low, medium, high.

# Plugins

# Specify a mapping between priority strings and the internal
Set(%PriorityAsString, (Low = 0, Medium = 50, High = 100));
# which order to display the priority strings

Should like like: Set(@Plugins,qw(RT::FM RT::Extension::ForkTicket
RT::Extension::ResetPassword));

But my guess is that yours contains only one element and that you're
having more than one like this:
Set(@Plugins,qw(RT::FM));
Set(@Plugins,qw(RT::Extension::ForkTicket));

There should be only one @Plugins line. With another Set(@Plugins...
line it would set the plugins over again and set only the ones listed.So
it looks like you would want:

Set(@Plugins,(qw(RT::Extension::PriorityAsString
RT::Extension::MandatorySubject)));

Just run:
./configure --help

and then give --with-rt-group and --with-rt-owner the correct RT
entries. If you don't specify anyting AT will default to rt:rt which in
your environment isn't true.

Just replace line

 /Elements/EmailInput, Name = 'Requestors', Size = '40', Default
= $ARGS{Requestors} || $session{CurrentUser}-EmailAddress

with

 /Elements/EmailInput, Name = 'Requestors', Size = '40', Default
= $ARGS{Requestors}

Clean mason cache, restart server. I think this is the easiest way to
handle this.

 think it's abvious what you should delete there.

[rt-users] Auto fill adminCC with an email address on ticket create.

2010-01-22 Thread Michael Neuschafer
Is there a way to have Auto fill adminCC with an email address on ticket
create. I basically want the same auto reply requestors setup but for
another email address. I want a carbon copy of a ticket being created
but sent out to a certain email address without always typing it in
Admincc everytime I open a ticket.

Thanks,

Basically every ticket that is created I want RT to automatically send a copy
of that ticket via email to a specific email address.

I've no idea what your second sentence means, but is there some reason
this address isn't simply an AdminCC on the queue?

[rt-users] RT Custom Field validation

2010-01-21 Thread Michael Neuschafer
Is there a way for Custom fields to have a validation on creating a
ticket? Like have the validation cross reference the data that was
inputted in the field to the value that was setup for the custom field.
I have a custom field that has select or type the value of a Store # and
I want RT to validate if that store # inputted exist in the values name
list on the backend. Anybody know of a script or extension that can do
this?

Thanks,
