It doesn't have that yet. When approved by ftp-master, it will make its
way to its final home at:

https://packages.debian.org/src:rumpkernel

I added link to the license list here:
http://wiki.rumpkernel.org/Info%3A-FAQ#user-content-What_sort_of_licenses_are_rump_kernels_and_the_Rumprun_unikernel_available_under

If someone remembers to ping me or change that when the URL finalizes,
all the better.

I did start reading from the top, and I noticed the license for
dhcp_main.c didn't make any sense. And it's actually wrong.

Please can you ellaborate? I just rechecked and can't see what you mean.

You can easily see yourself why it's wrong (years don't match the source file).

It didn't make sense (to me) because I know I wasn't working on that in 2005.

Ok I fixed dhcp_main.c (pending for next upload), just let me know if you're
concerned
about any other entry (with around ~2500 entries in that file, please bear with
me as
it's a huge PITA to maintain such a beast).

Not really (see

I did have to review the entire file and perform many corrections though.

don't mind if the years are inaccurate.

For those of us not familiar with the Debian process, what does "in validation
queue" mean?

It means it may soon be included in the Debian distribution, which (I hope)
will lead to some of
Debian packages using it (the Hurd looks like a likely candidate).

See: https://wiki.debian.org/NewQueue

I don't know what the preferred method is. I know that Jens maintains
separate AUR packages for Arch. I guess there some advantage in getting
to as close to native as you can.

How difficult would it be to come up with a script which generated that
license summary e.g. as a wiki page?

Cool, thanks! I assume that's for a POSIX build via buildrump.sh. Do you plan

Not really. Patches are welcome though ;-)

P.D. any particular section in the wiki where listing this would be
appropriate?

Yes, please, the "Binary packages" page:

Tangentially, I'm thinking there should be a separate rumpuser-posix
repository. Lumping that functionality together with buildrump.sh is a
historic mistake, and furthermore one which I've just about had enough
of right around now (finally!). If someone wants to start pulling on
